Game Highlights: Bruins 5, Blues 2

We’re looking to have a competitor back in the net, a guy that knows how to win. And that he is done in this building as the Blues dump the puck into the offensive zone. Go to work there. Off the wall to Kyu. He’ll dump it in, but not enough to dump it deep. And that immediately gives it right back up to Boston. Aspo sends it over the line. Far-wing to Geeki near wing tap and shot score. Alex Steves put the Bruins on top. One- nothing. Six and a half into the first period. the Boston Bruins because Kyro does not get this puck in. You see that little dink right there? It doesn’t get deep enough and then the Bruins go D to D. The Blues are in the middle of a change and then it’s going to go on man rush the other way and they’re flatfooted. A threeon two turns into a twoon one and you’re going to see Steves. He’s going to open up perfectly put right in his wheelhouse. Nothing. torn paint. Geeki goes flying in and the chip by Broberg blocked away. D’Vorski hit along the near side and that puck given up to Boston. Brober and Paro took a shot from the back and the Bruins center and score. Two to nothing Boston on a one-time from the slot. [Music] But really, it’s the whole play is Alex. Look at the first hit. That’s battle number one. Watch second battle. Look, he battles two Blues players. And then they’re going to set up Morgan Geeky right in front. I know this is Morgan Geeki’s goal, but watch number 21. Battle one. Battle two. He takes out not only Praco, but also Philip Broberg. And then of course Morgan Geeki gets a great Asamaki deflects it in. Gets after it and on the floor check trying to get there as well. Pareo pinches it. Works it behind the net. Centers it a shot and they score. Pavl Butch Navic right underneath the crossbar and a great feed by Pareo and the Blues are on the board. 159 into the second period. The light went on. You’re going to see in your Bomb Marino Robo Cam. Watch Colton Pereo. You’re going to see the defender. First of all, the for check by Casamaki. Here’s Colton. It’s going to be the pinch. He surprises Jano. He ends up behind the net and then Pabuch Davis. No one accounts for him. Right between the hash marks. I don’t even think Corposal thought that went in. Here’s Pareo. Head up. There’s the shot. Yes. Right over the right shoulder of Corposalo. And it gets stuck in the back of the net. You’re going to see a perfect look at it right here. Yeah. Right behind the middle for that puck just bounced right over his stick or else we got a two- two game. All right. On the near wing, throws it to the net. Save is made. slapped and scored. Boston gets it back. Victor Arvinson, seventh of the year on a slap shot from the far wing. And then this puck is going to go around the horn and then Victor Arbertson’s going to find it. Here it comes. Bennington goes off of him and then Arvinson’s just going to tee this one up. Hollers and the folks and the Broers just jumping up and joining the offense. Askamaki back out onto the ice here as the Bruins go to the right side. Pablo Zaka cuts it into the middle onto his forehand and score. High glove as he cut it back to the middle. Pablo Zaka has made it four to one. Bruins 734 to go in the second. Bingo right there. Watch Arbertson that little sauce pass. It’s going to go over two bodies and then Pablo Zaka is going to do the rest. We blocked away there by Robert. Austin’s going to recover the puck. That was Lindol on the near wing. Bennington makes the save. Loose puck and they scored on the back door off a rebound. Power play goal. There’s zero’s on the clock, but I believe there might have been some time left, Joe. And it’s 5-1 Boston. Simple shot from the outside cuz Boston, they know the time is running low, so they got to get a puck to the net. Good job really being on the defensive side. They’re dropping D back. It’s just not much available happening right now. Gyru working towards the middle. Fires, rebound, and oh, what a save. Corpusal. The Blues score. Corpus Salow with an outstanding save. Sudter finds the puck in front, puts it in, and the Blues get their second of the game. 10 save maybe on the whole season. Bob Marrio Robocam shows it. washed away. He kicks out that right leg. Are you kidding me right now? He makes this in the middle of the ice. It goes Kyu with a shot that gets blocked. Final three seconds are there. And the Bruins and the Blues a 52 defeat to kick off this three-game road trip for the Blues.

Highlights from a 5-2 St. Louis Blues loss to the Boston Bruins at TD Garden on Dec. 4, 2025. Blues goals were scored by Pavel Buchnevich and Pius Suter, and Aleksanteri Kaskimaki appeared in his NHL debut.

  1. Welll, my Blue Ballers have given up 100 goals – most in league which doesn't bode well for immediate future success. I can't recall the last time any Blues season getting off to a great start. Man, do I envy Aves, Stars. etc.
