Nice try Slay

  1. So they’re just blocking him from coming here? Booo

Hope we kick their asses in a couple weeks

  2. Makes no sense to treat a player that way at the end of his career. It’s the Bills just refusing to let him go to a team he wants to be at which is out of division and conference.

  3. Bills are being an asshole organization. Let him go, dude.

Hope we kick their nuts in during week 17.

  4. His agent will remember this. Drew is a powerful dude and it will come back to bite them in the ass

  5. I can’t stand the bills organization. The fans are cool but they’ve always just been that super irrelevant team that’s pisses other franchises off by doing petty things like this.

  6. Whack. Dude’s at the end of his career and he doesn’t want to play there. Let him walk.

  7. Oh boy, Bills org man. This is one of the most “loser mentality” moves by a front office I’ve seen.

It don’t even matter though. They’ll be knocked out of the second round of the playoffs again, and slay will retire essentially a Super Bowl champ.

  8. Hopefully he’s there for the week 17 game, on the bills sideline, wearing his Super Bowl ring

  9. lol slay trying to stir the drama pot with his comments.. i’m glad nobody is taking that bait.

  10. Bills are salty af they didnt do their due diligence and figure out if slay would actually play for them before claiming him and lost the player they released already lol. If they still had their guy available to pick back up theyd do it, but now that they could look dumb, they wont do it

  11. Congrats to the Bills fans! They won their Super Bowl! (Bills not letting Slay walk)

They will be partying on their subreddit because of this because they have nothing else to root for.

  12. I know the waiver wire works the way it does for a reason but you should not be allowed to stash someone you claim like this.

It defeats the whole purpose, now they can field a full 53 and have slay if he ever decides to change his mind.

  13. This is bad work on the bills players talk agents talk, if Eagles and Bills was division rivals or even both in the AFC I would get it. But this is petty Slay isn’t some young nobody

  14. If this is the route they’re going to go, Slay should report, go through all the week’s practices, get incorporated into the game plan, and then an hour before kickoff on Sunday announce on Instagram that he’s retiring.

  15. When the birds win it this year I want Slay to show up at the parade in a Bills jersey.

  16. Bills are a bunch of pansy ass bitches

It’d be *such a shame* if Drew Rosenhaus remembers this and it sours and fucks up any potential signings and dealings with his other vets he reps

  17. I don’t understand why a veteran like Slay has to clear waivers. If the Steelers don’t want him he should be able to play with whoever he wants.

  18. Now the Bills just added Savage. Slay should report to the Bills so they have to activate him and cut savage, or waive him.

  19. This is disrespectful to a veteran like Slay. Holding someone’s rights from a waiver claim.
