His stats looking nice this game. but if you watched him play he is not good. His shooting is awful, 25% from 3. Hinson is much more efficient. But I do agree Javonte Cooke 2way was weird and questionable
Do yourself a favor and stop thirsting over G-Leaguers. Almost all of them are useless in the NBA. Have fun watching and going to the games, but there’s no reason to try and figure out how they can be useful to the Blazers because if any of them ARE useful to the Blazers, that means the Blazers are absolutely terrible.
He has played real minutes with the zers. He was ok. We just need to get healthy.
Bryce McGowens was a G league all star last year and routinely put up 40 a game with the Remix. It does not translate.
Edit: I didn’t check this, but he definitely
Scored in the 30s quite often.
Alex Caruso once said on a podcast that the G League guys that score the most and put up big stats are usually never the guys who the NBA needs. Anyone can score with enough usage in the G League.
It’s the guys that do ONE THING really really well that can carve out a niche on a team. It’s hustle plays, POA defense, how well you can run a PNR, etc.
