🚨Chicago Bears Get GOOD & BAD NEWS Before Packers Game

Happy Friday everybody. Welcome into Chicago Bears now. My name is Harrison Graham. Hope everybody is gearing up for a great weekend. Uh mine’s off to a bit of a rocky start. Uh wife woke up with flu. We’re supposed to be packing the house this weekend. I’m praying that me and my son PJ don’t get it either. But uh knock on wood, so far so good. And while she’s resting before I go pick up my son from daycare, I’m going to bring you guys some news here on a Friday as the Bears get good news and bad news on the injury front. We’ll take a look at both Chicago and Green Bay’s final injury reports. But if you want to support this program, want to support the show, whether I’m in the studio, whether I’m at home, I’m bringing you guys content every single day. We’ve got our week-long subscriber battle going on with our Packers Report YouTube channel. So, hit that sub button. Go check out our joint preview that we put out on the channel earlier today with our Packers uh host uh Joey Peterson. Gotten some good feedback on that. If you haven’t already, go check it out. But, uh we got plenty more to come. Okay, bad news first. Rome Adun, he is out. Will not play on Friday. And I just think when you when you don’t practice Wednesday, Thursday, you rarely play. And so I kind of had this feeling yesterday that this would probably be be where this is goes. Now I’m hoping this is kind of a DeAndre Swift situation from earlier in the year. Remember Swift was, you know, kind of dealing with the groin injury for like four, five, six weeks and then they finally sat him in that Cincinnati game and since then he’s been back. He’s been fresh and he’s been productive. So, knock on wood. Roma Dunse, who’s been battling through this foot issue for seemingly weeks now, uh is not going to play, which sucks, but maybe that means he’ll be much better for the stretch run cuz it just felt like he’s not been quite himself uh for the last several weeks. So, that’s what I’m hoping for. Definitely still a bummer. I mean, I’d rather Rome be out there for this game. This is a big game obviously between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers, but his production has dipped. uh since the first month when he was taking the league by storm. Felt like he you know might even have like an allp pro season and you know he still had a good season but he has not been as uh effective. Some of that uh is just you know him and Caleb Williams not being on the same page. Some of that is Rome not making some plays and some of that’s probably this foot injury that has probably impacted some of the route running the getting in and out of breaks so on and so forth. Uh Tyreek Stevenson and Ruben Hiplight are also out. Uh but only three players ruled out other than you know like Tmaine Edmonds who’s already on IR. So uh relatively healthy as a team but Romanun is certainly a key player. Tyreek is as well but when you have Jaylen Johnson back and Deshawn Wright you should have enough ammunition at that outside corner position. You also have a key defender coming back as we get to some good news. TJ Edwards is back as he is set to play in this football game after missing the last four games with the hand and a hamstring issue. Uh we know he had surgery on his hand. I think it was a broken bone in that hand. So don’t be shocked if you know that hand is wrapped. May even be a club. Uh I I’ve been told the hamstring is healthy. Hopefully that’s the case. I would not be shocked uh if this was a pitch count situation. Uh just considering that TJ has not played uh in over a month. This will be his first game back and uh today was technically his only full practice and Fridays are usually more of a walkth through. So I would not be surprised if he’s on a pitch count for those reasons. Also DeMarco Jackson has played well. Noah Su is back and playing and Dennis Allen’s probably going to use that dime package a decent amount with one linebacker. then you cheat, you know, CJ Gardenner Johnson andor Kyler Gordon up into the box to mix it up because you got a lot of good defensive backs that you’re feeling uh feeling really good about right now if you’re Dennis Allen. But it’ll be good to get TJ back if uh Green Bay is looking to run the football with Josh Jacobs in this game, which you would think they would given the uh well below freezing temperatures that we’re going to be uh seeing at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Last I checked, high was 15 degrees, which probably means windchill is sub 10. Uh, having a guy like TJ Edward certainly helps. So, that’s a very, very good thing. All right, we’ll get to some Packers injury stuff in just a moment. But first, I want to tell you guys about today’s awesome sponsor. That is Prize Picks. It’s good to be right. Okay, before we get to Green Bay, just real quick, couple other key cogs. I mentioned Noah Su going to be back. Both Andrew Billings and Dominique Robinson do not have game designation. So, they are out of the concussion protocol. And that’s big. You want as many front seven players as you can have in a game like this NFC North old school type of feel with uh the physicality I’m expecting to see on both sides of the ball. So that is certainly a good thing especially for Billings. I mean he’s going to be critical and slowing down the run. So uh that is definitely a very very good thing. Let’s flip over to Green Bay now. Savon Williams, Lucas Vaness are out. So are Marshon Lloyd and Colin Oliver. They’re uh still on short-term IR. They will not be activated. Uh Devonte Wyatt’s heading uh to IR. Matt Laflur uh said he is out for the season. So uh some key cogs there especially Vaness and obviously Devonte Wyatt Savon Williams hasn’t done a ton but a dangerous player on special teams. So uh certainly notable that he is out and Colin Oliver is a depth piece but with Van Ness out they’re relatively thin at that edge position that so that is certainly uh notable and noteworthy. Uh Bullard Javon Bullard is questionable. He was limited on Wednesday, DNP the last two days in practice. That makes me think he’s a relative long shot to play in this game on Sunday. Now, they did not rule him out. So, the Packers are holding out hope uh that he could play uh in this football game, but doesn’t seem that likely. I mean, it’s pretty rare uh especially for a younger player to practice to start the week, don’t practice the last two days of the practice schedule, and then play on Sunday. Now, we’ll see. Uh maybe the Packers put him through a warm-up uh and a workout before the game on Sunday and if he checks out, he’ll give it a go. But if he’s out, that’s a big deal. He’s a versatile nickel uh in that defense for Jeff Hafley. One of the chess pieces that he likes uh moving around. So, I definitely think that is a notable loss uh if he can’t play. So, we’ll continue to monitor that situation. Uh Jaden Reed also questionable. He is still on short-term IR. Has not played since week two when he broke that collar bone. Matt Laflur said, quote, “I hope so.” When asked if Jaden Rele plays, said he still needs final medical clearance uh to be activated. Now, with Devonte Wyatt going to IR, uh they that would be the roster maneuver, you would think, to make room for Jaden Reed. So, they’re not going to have to make some random cut. Uh you would think he would just take uh Wyatt’s spot on the roster, but I think they’re waiting and seeing if Reed is going to be able to return. Um, do they hold him out another week just because of uh the weather elements? Does it make more sense for Green Bay to do that? Maybe. Uh, we’ll have to wait and see. And then also questionable, Matt Golden, uh, with a wrist injury, quarterback Nate Hobbs, uh, and then Edge Brenton Cox Jr., he is on short-term IR in his practice window. So, if any if he were to get activated, uh, they would have to potentially open up a roster spot. um depending on uh if uh Jaden Reed were to get activated as well. If they both got activated, they’d have to create one spot because we know Devonte Wyatt’s going to create one uh but they would have to create one more. All right, that is going to do it uh for this episode of Chicago Bears. Now, appreciate everybody for tuning in. Uh if anything major happens tomorrow, we will have it covered at least with the YouTube short. I got a lot of stuff to do around the house. uh uh in getting our house ready to go as we are moving. 1. Hey Harrison just wanted to say thanks for making content man. I remember when quarantine first started and I started watching your mock drafts way back then. Still a fan of the channel and I'm proud of you for getting to 100k. BEAR DOWN!

  2. packers corner backs arent that great. safeties cool tho. Their DL more valid than their back 4. its gonna be cold. i doubt there will be tons of passing. i think itll be a low scoring game

  3. Caleb is LAST in completion percentage and he has the best OL and weapons the Bears have EVER had. "We have too many drops" LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR, Caleb has 166 incompletions on 18 drops! So that's not an excuse, the number speaks for itself so stop using that excuse. I AM VERY HIGH ON CALEB, doesn't mean I can't be honest so let's also make that very clear! Love his game, but if he starts completing these easy open throws we'd be 11-1 right now. He has a lower completion percentage than Justin Fields who played with a FAR worse OL and WAY LESS weapons. I back Caleb on numerous posts believe me! He just needs to hit these open throws! Bear tf down and LETS GO CALEB! GET IT GOING BRODIE!
