The Pelicans Are Looking To Trade Zion Williamson

The Pelicans will accept the first decent offer for Zion Williamson. And they might have to throw in Herb Jones just to get rid of him. And here’s why. Another injury, this time in a doctor strain. This is the sixth time that Zion Williamson has gone down over the past year. And he’s out for three more weeks. From September 2024 to now, that’s 40 games that Zion has missed. The Pelicans are 3-8 and in dead last in the West. And the worst part of all is they don’t even have their draft pick as a result of the Dairy Queen trade. The Atlanta Hawks own that pick. Kenry Perkins gave a wild take about Zion. But I think he might be right. Zion has completely disorganization since they drafted top to bottom. You can’t depend on him. You don’t know what’s going on. It’s so many things you have to do. You got He had to clean up certain areas. I think they should move on from Zion. So where could Zion actually go? While league sources are pointing to the Golden State Warriors, because the Golden State Warriors have the expiring contracts, they have the picks, and they have a disgruntled Jonathan Kaminga and Brandon Pazenski who’s playing like a bum. I bet you better catch that. I bet you better start doing your job. But here’s the problem. Zion’s trade value is basically nothing. The Pelicans might have to attach assets just to move him. But who’s actually going to take that $127 million gamble on a guy who’s missed more games than he’s played? Zion Williamson isn’t a bust because of talent.   21. The warriors really have become the team that everyone will end up “trading” their broken talent too. But they never are really in a position to get any of these players bc of the salary that would come with them.
