In the 9 games since Victor has gone down. Devin Vassell has put up 18/4/3 on 48/44/100 efficiency(61% TS) with 1 steal and 1 block per game. In that time the Spurs are 7-2 and 4th in the Western Conference standings!

  1. He’s been balling. I’m surprised he keeps draining those tough fadeaway 2s. Just coming off handoffs, no separation, fadeaway 2 with the defense all over him, swish. I expect it to turn off at some point but so far it’s been money

  2. Having Fox/Harper back has helped move Devin back into the secondary playmaker role, which he excels in. Defensive intensity has for sure picked up. Also want to point out that this dude always shows up in big games. The Cup games this year and last, our last play-in game (lol) – I’m eyeing that Lakers game next week and would expect to have another great showing!

  3. Dev is so important to this team. When he plays like this we are so much more dangerous. Hope he can keep the consistency! His midrange shot is so mm mm good.

  4. He has the 2nd highest on-off rating on the team after Dylan. It’s not just his offense, he’s been so good defensively too

  5. And many of you Spurs fans wanted to get rid of vessels 🤔 I never wanted to get rid of him because I kept telling people he is our 2 guard that was averaging 19 points a game before Victor got there let’s not for get that

  6. more importanty he’s generally been solid defensively. gone are the expectations of him being some defensive ace, but he’s also not been completely trash like we’ve seen for most of the last 2 seasons.

  7. This is everything we’ve hoped for from him and seen in flashes before. Now all we need to see is it remain consistent. I remain optimistically dubious.
