Loved Cliff Floyd. Would probably call him my first favorite player when I started getting big into the Mets.
Was at the game about two weeks before this when he hit the walk off against the Angels after Marlon Anderson hit an inside the parker to tie it in the 9th.
Favorite player of all time
A key player in one of the best games I’ve ever been to. May 5, 2006 an epic 14 inning brawl between the Mets and Braves. Floyd leads off the 11th inning with a hr to tie the game after Atlanta scored in the top half. David Wright would walk it off after the
14th inning stretch. An amazing all time game I’ll never forget.
Always loved his swing
Man, I loved Cliff Floyd. I was a big fan even before he was on the Mets, was so happy when the Mets got him.
That swing…. legendary.
Michael Kay used to talk suck, he still does, but he used to too

Man, Yankee announcers have always been so cringe. I can’t imagine having to listen to that all season….
Anyway, here’s Cliff Floyd dunking a baseball.
