Coleman leaving would be a significant loss to the Flames room…

When you trade Nikita Zidorov, it’s like the room’s going to be fine. It’s the room is probably better without him in there. When they move Elias Lind home, those those guys with expiring contracts, they were so done with the team and the city, they just couldn’t wait to get out. Get the hell out. It’s addition by subtraction. You don’t want those guys in your room. Whereas for guys like Coleman and Anderson, and I know Anderson say, I’m not going to be a distraction. Well, just don’t don’t be a negative presence. Don’t be a negative in the locker room. and they haven’t won a lot of games, but I don’t get the sense that there’s any of that going on. You could see it a mile away with Zidorov and Lindholm. And the thing with with Coleman is he’d be a great player to pick up in a trade, but I feel like the loss would be significant for the room to lose a guy like that. Yeah, you’ve still got Weaguers and back, you’ve got some veterans, but there is something about the way he plays. I mean, he scraps the other game and he’s not a scrapper, but he’ll do it. He he’s a great teammate without being, hey, look at me and how great a teammate. You can just you just see it. And I remember the the comments from John Cooper right when he signed in Calgary. And he was like he was visibly upset. He’s like, “It’s it is really hard to imagine our room without a Blake Coleman in it.” And I think that probably the Flames would be the same way right now. He would be a guy who’s you would just look up to him. A lot of those young guys if you’re in that room, you talk about a captain without a C on his chest. That’s that’s play Coleman. He works and plays hard and does it the right
