But, let’s get to this one between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Clippers. The Los Angeles Clippers on the backtoback in this one taking on the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night while the Timberwolves ready waiting and rested at home 14-8 on the year 8 and4 against the number picking up a fourth straight win in a 125 116 win over New Orleans in their last matchup. But once again, the thing for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season has been a lot of times playing down to competition and you know taking the step up against good teams for the most part. But I will say that at least Minnesota, you know, picked up those wins. They had to gut out those wins. And maybe it’s just one of those things where, you know, you have to face some adversity, you know, and against a team like the Clippers who maybe aren’t, you know, the uh the sharpest team out there and, you know, haven’t been able to uh to really battle so far this season. And I think that Minnesota is, you know, just a team that you kind of got to watch out for. I think this is a team that, you know, if they stay healthy and keep a lot of their key pieces in the lineup for the long haul, this is going to be a team that makes some noise in the Western Conference once again. While the Clippers, on the other hand, are a team that have just really been fallen by the wayside this season. And while they’ve been back and forth in this game against Memphis on Friday, I still don’t like this spot for the Clippers on a backto-back. I mean, this is a Clippers team that has, you know, the king, the godfather of load management and Kawhi Leonard. surprise anyone if they sat him for this game or kept him out of this game. I don’t think they will because the Timberwolves are still formidable team and if you start him against Memphis I would assume you start him against Minnesota but still you know and James Harden you know he hasn’t necessarily been able to hold hold down the forward on his own and even if he does I mean we’ve seen spots where the Clippers have been crushed with Kawawaii and James Harden in the lineup. Minnesota, they have Anthony Edwards taking the next step in in his career, you know, being one of the the best scorers in the NBA this season. And at the end of the day, I just don’t, like I said, I don’t trust the Clippers on a backtoback to be able to keep pace with a rested Minnesota team here that’s normally been able to take advantage of their spots, having the rest advantage over their opponent. I think the the Timberwolves win this one by double digits at home. Maybe it’s a fade of the Clippers more than anything else and not trusting this team to play competitive basketball on a night-to-ight basis. But either way, I’m taking Minnesota here.
