  1. They should let Dahlin cross check both these guys against the boards. Zegras was clearly shaken up.

  2. It’s also that dahlin was pissed off for just getting hit and clearly took it out on a smaller player. Bond villain lookin ass

  3. What a bunch of freaking hypocrites.

The first guy is “I’m all against hits from behind…but not this one (even though it is a textbook hit from behind). You can’t pick and choose which “hits from behind” you are against.

Then the other guy is “yeah I don’t like it because Dahlin is a good guy I played with him” – either you hit from behind or not you being a “good guy” has nothing to do with whether you hit a guy in the numbers 2 ft from the boards.

    Shut it jabronis.

  4. Just the other day, I saw a clip of these guys acting shocked saying “half the teams are getting less than average goaltending” like brother that’s exactly how averages work. Clown show.

  5. Everything wrong with America is listening to guys who look like this. *Presented by Uber Eats

  6. Can’t recall if it was r-hockey or nhl but people really wanted this to not be dirty and came to Dahlin’s defense like “oh but not a dirty player!” Like ok maybe but the Z hit was dangerous and if he’d smashed his jaw into the boards, would there be a leg to stand on? Jfc.

  7. Im not sure if I like how they now call game misconduct, like, what their criteria are now. That said, the rules are clearly stated and this hit fell into that category. The misconduct was well within the rule, my issue is the way the rules are structured to begin with.

  8. He puts his stick across his nameplate and pushed him face first into the boards, seems pretty clear cut.

  9. That’s a really shitty take. The fact he is hit from behind, always a chance for a devastating injury. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.

  10. Without the context of Dahlin being frustrated and the score maybe it’s only 2, but he had piss baby energy for the last few shifts cause his team was losing and he decided to take that frustration out with a questionable hit.

Throwing him out also means there’s no retaliation
