Sweaty J Has A Day Week 13 Film Room | AZ Cardinals

What’s up, guys? AQ Shipley taking you inside the film room. Arizona Cardinals at Tampa Bay Bucks. Josh Sweat goes from nine sacks to 11, gets into double-digit sacks. This is why you spend the money on a big free agent acquisition to come in and be your money pass rusher. Let’s take a look at the first sack. Seven up, right? We count this. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven guys. Okay. So, if we see that, now let’s take a look at the structure of the defense. Down guy, down guy, down guy. Why are we calling them down guys? Because there’s some form of a defensive lineman. Here’s your four. I circled the fourth as Josh Sweat. When you look at the other guys, they are all considered up guys, as in linebacker types or safeties. Linebacker, linebacker, and then Buddha Baker’s your seventh. He is considered a linebacker type in this situation. Baker sees it. He points. Moves the back over. So now what they’re going to do, go here. Go here. Send Gadeki out to handle him. And then what they’re doing is they’re using Rashad White, the running back. He’s going to read 25 Xav Collins across to Josh Sweat. Let’s let this thing run. As you see this, Zav Collins immediately bails. Birch bails. Gadeki tries to turn this thing in and start to bump this thing off. Too late. Again, what this seven up does causes confusion. Now you see the back. He went from there. He’s going to come all the way across. Worst matchup you could ever want. Running back on the other team’s best pass rusher and Josh Sweat. Boom. Run through the running back. There it is. Sack, fumble. Love to see the pressure dialed up. Okay, now let’s take a look at the other sack. Josh Schwat, normally an edge guy, normally a defensive end, lined up right there in front of Cody Simon over the right guard, Feny. Take a look. We got an edge guy. We got Kus. Got another edge guy in Xav Collins. You got Browning in there who’s another edge guy. How are they going to handle this? Oh, by the way, you got linebacker and Cody Simon. And you got Buddha Baker who can come. Oh, by the way, Jaylen Thompson’s hanging out, too. They could bring any of these guys. any combination of these guys, you have no idea what they’re going to do. It’s up to the offense to try and figure out based on their rules best way to pick this up. But again, having these opportunities to bring these guys up and around the line of scrimmage causes confusion, causes chaos, puts the offense in a bad situation. Oh, and what else? Get your best pass rusher matched up on a guard. They’re not used to seeing these types of pass rushers and this type of speed on the inside. So, guess what we’re going to do? We’re going to bail Buddha. We’re going to bail Simon. We’re gonna bail on Browning. We’re only gonna rush four. Fourman rush. Look at that. See that little jump inside move? Get his outside hand there. Use the outside to then go here and get over the top. There it is. Get through the B gap. Easy sack. It’s exactly what you want.
