Mark Willard: If I were Steve Kerr, the message to Podz and JK is: focus on being the role players this team needs with Steph Curry. Worry about being an All-Star or the face of the Warriors some other day. Let’s do now.

  1. Yeah….I think Kerr or maybe even our veteran’s have talked to them about this..but maybe there too stubborn…

  2. Nah, I think it’s done. Trade em’ both and see what we receive on an all-in timeline focused on Steph.

  3. Podz’ play and his intent on the court is quite the difference from the mentality he displays in and to the media. Has no confidence or any sort of decisiveness whatsoever on the floor. When he shoots with confidence, he knocks the ball down. Even this year, he’s shooting well but it feels different

  4. I mean the issue is that the whole game plan goes out the window when you are relying on an old star, and if he isn’t available, then the old heads give up. How can you be a young player when your coach, and vets check out when Steph don’t play? This is on Kerr for failing to establish an identity that can work without Curry for 3 games.

  5. Focus on being a role player? While we have only 1 scorer and our second best player is being paid 55 mill to score 20 points per game. Someone has to get the ball thru the hoop.

  6. Steph is just going to keep getting worn down if the rest of the team are all going to be role players.

  7. This thought is not achievable for players who have been told they are special for the last decade. JK refused to buy in on championship rosters, why would he buy in on a 8/9 seed roster…

  8. I don’t agree with this. Why shouldn’t they aspire to be all-stars? If they could reach that level it would be a huge help.
But they should focus on being all-stars without being detriments to the team.

  9. Podz sees what Austin Reeves is doing and is trying to be that for the Warriors, but he’s playing like Knecth. Kuminga thinks he’s Giannis when he’s playing like Thannasis.
