Patriots Got The Guy The Entire NFL WANTS! | New England Patriots
The New England Patriots continue to prove they made a lot of great decisions this past off season. Just like me, changing my internet provider, solid move, but that’s beside the point. The Patriots got the guy that everybody wants. Let’s talk about it. My name is Aaron on the Daily Patriots content. Don’t miss out. All you got to do is subscribe, hit the notification bell, boom, hit the like button. Hitting that like button helps me push me push me out into the YouTube world. It mean a lot. So, let’s jump right into it. First and foremost, your guy Elijah Pound Ponder Pounder sometimes how he how he pounds his opponents, we’ll go with it. Uh has been great for the New England Patriots. As of right now with rookies, he is technically uh tied for second, tied for third, whatever you want to say, with three sacks. in those sacks coming in the past four games. He is behind only Pierce, the guy out of Tennessee who is drafted high by the Falcons as well as Jaylen Walker, who’s also a huge draft pick, first round draft pick by the Falcons as well. Again, a undrafted free agent. One guy you don’t see on this lady list, ladies and gentlemen, is Abdul Carter. Now, let’s jump into that real quick. Abdul Carter, third overall pick out of Penn State. a guy I will admit I was very high on and really wanted the Patriots to get. He has a deal that’s worth $45 million where Elijah Ponder not even getting paid a million dollars a year. So talk about an absolute steal. Elijah Ponder coming out of Calpali in the FCS school over on the west side. A lot of people thought raw talent, a lot of potential. Patriots came in, picked him up, threw him on the 53man roster, and now he is only behind Harold Landry III and as well KC Chson. He is that third edge rusher and it is big. He’s again, as I said, rookie year with a lot of potential. Talk about finding a steel. A lot of people talked about, even myself, CJ Depri I was very high on as undrafted free agent. Aff Chisum, the Chisler, very high on Lan Larrison as well. those three guys being all FCS guys uh in college and we look at when we talk about undrafted free agents and who has been the most productive uh on the field and you look at Elijah Ponder. So again, this is the type of guy guys that teams want that they that they want to find. They want to be that team that says look at look at this diamond in the rough we found because not only does he come and perform on the field, guess what? his his the the money you are paying him. Granted, I’m sure as he continues to do well, they’ll give him some sort of extension, but the contract he is is on is pennies. Pennies compared to everyone else. And again, as I said, as he gets better, as he progresses, he will get the big bucks. He will make the money. But it’s awesome to see him outperforming the highest rated edge rusher in the draft, Abdul Carter, who the Patriots just played uh just the other day. Uh, you love to see that kind of stuff. The Patriots making great moves this off seasonason. One of the best being Elijah Ponder being picked up and put on the 53man roster, working his way, obviously, as you can see, into the rotation and being worth every single penny. Every single penny. So, you love to see it. Comment below. What do you think? Every team in the NFL wants a guy like this, not only on the field, but also on uh on on paying them every week. It ain’t nothing. So, what do you think? Comment below. Love to see it. Excited to see him progress more. Uh and he is one of those guys that I’m glad the Patriots made a move on. It was a smart move. What are your thoughts, Elijah Ponder? What do you see him producing throughout the rest of the season into the playoffs? Would like to hear from you. Comment below. Next up, we look at the Buffalo Bills. Now, I will tell you this. Anyone with eyes can see the Buffalo Bills are not performing like anyone expected they would this year. And anyone with eyes in a brain would say the New England Patriots are well overperforming compared to what they did in 2024. But what’s crazy is this. Anytime you look, you look at a situation, you take the holistic look and you break down the evidence, you’ve seen everything at hand that has played out and you come with takes like this one that I’m about to read you in a second. It kind of blows my mind. It kind of blows my mind. Again, sports is filled with hot takes, opinions, especially on on national media. People are trying to get a name for themselves, do all these different things. But I will I want to share this one with you because it kind of grinds my gears a little bit. And I’m going to tell you why. and we’re going to break it down. CBS analysts trust Bills and Josh Allen more than the Patriots. He said, quote, let me go down and read it before I give you vertigo. Where is it at? Stand by. Stand by. Josh has definitely ascended into uh what did he do today? Sort of. You can’t get really through the weekend without highlights and news and stats without checking on the Bills quarterback and what the MV MVP has done. Wow. I can’t find the actual quote. Hang on with me. Hang on with me. Oh, hang on. I’m sorry, guys. I’m sorry. Now I can’t find the quote. Well, this is frustrating. Well, I’m going to I’m going to I’m going to uh maybe I can find it now. Be patient with me. No ads today. We’re going to try it one more time. Darn it. The ad was right there or the uh the quote was right there. All right, I’m going off the top of my head. So, we’re going to jump to this. But the quote was basically this. Listen, Josh Allen has proven throughout the years he’s reliable. Uh he can find a way to win. All these different things. And in the quote, the guy says, “I understand they’re not doing well this year.” And then he throws in the B the the big B- word, but but the Bills and Josh Allen will get it done and they will figure it out and they will be more reliable than the New England Patriots. Well, let me show you this. Okay, first and foremost, we got to we got to the elephant in the room. The Patriots have already beaten the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo in prime time. That’s the first thing. After that, they travel to a bad Atlanta team and lose to Atlanta in not so great a fashion, only scoring 14 points, losing by double digits. They go on to lose to the Dolphins, who are not good as well. I will give the Texans. They have had a resurgence. But in those games, in all the games that the Bills have played, Josh Allen has had four separate games where he has thrown for less than 200 yards and in some of those games well less than 200 yards in an embarrassing fashion. So again, if you’re going to come to the Bills and say, “Listen, I think they are more trustworthy than a team like the New England Patriots.” again. Give me the evidence besides the fact that well let’s look at the past years and see what they have done. Give me something else. Let’s focus on this year because as it sits this year clearly they have a issue when it comes to the receiving game. James Cook can only do so much when it comes to the rushing attack. Josh Allen in in all reality needs more weapons uh when it comes to wide receivers. Let’s be real. There’s a reason they got cooks. And so when you look at this and then you compare it to let’s say Drake May in the uh New England Patriots. New England Patriots again they have two losses earlier in the year we can all agree incredibly frustrating. Drake May though he has not surpassed 300 passing yards. He has not passed for underneath 200 passing yards all season. Been very consistent in that. There’s a reason he is one of the front runners when it comes to MVP. So again, if I were to look solely at this year and I would tell you what looks more trustworthy, what looks more reliable, I would lean on Drake May, his game in the Patriots game as a as opposed to the Buffalo Bills up and down games, especially losing games to very rough teams. Again, Drake May, there’s a reason he’s in in the MVP race. I’m not saying Josh Allen is a bad quarterback. That is not what I’m saying. I’m saying based on the evidence this year, I would not conclude that, hey, the Bills are a more trustworthy team. I would say again, the Patriots, even at times playing teams that are much lesser opponents, that they haven’t had the most ideal games in all those situations. Again, you look at the Bengals, uh that that wasn’t ideal. Should have beat the Giants by more. Um but there’s also games of big-time wins they’ve had against again the Bills, Tampa Bay. Uh, and then you look at the Bills in particular. Sure, they beat the Chiefs, but we can all agree the Chiefs might miss the playoffs this year. Um, sure they beat Tampa Bay as well, which is a is a solid win. Uh, the Ravens, uh, questionable. Who knows what’s what’s, you know, going on with them. They, you know, will probably sneak into the playoffs as it looks right now. But when it comes down to it, I I I don’t see you being able to argue you can trust the Bills much more than you can trust the Patriots based on what has happened so far this year. I would like to hear from you Patriots fans. What are your thoughts? Again, give me Drake May. Give me his production. Give me this team’s production over what Josh Allen and the Bills have done this year. I’m going to trust that more than the Bills and Josh Allen. What are your thoughts? Comment below. would love to hear from you. Elijah Ponder, what are your thoughts on him? Any other undrafted free agents, you know? Um, love to hear from you. Comment below. We’ll talk later. Peace.

The pats have a new system so they will improve at a faster rate.
Aaron since we need another tight end lets draft deuce Robinson and at linebacker lets draft harlod perkins from lsu i know the draft it far away but they could help the team
Re Bills/Pats, TBD. Bills issue has been major injuries to Lines, O and D. Plus TE/WR injuries.
I think the bills will beat the pats next game and also. The chiefs will beat the pats in the playoffs.
Wongwrong. Pats win big: 33-20. Bills are like Marley's ghost: scary but not real. Ditto Chiefs, with a stake of holly stirring KC chillies in December. Parties' over.
Great video, Aaron. Jam packed with great news! We know what the Bills can do. We don't know what the Pats are going to blossom into. They're are constantly improving under this well Coached, very disciplined System. Go Pats!!
Remember 2001-02 Patriots. They had the Raiders, still mad over tuck rule lol. They had the Patriots as underdogs in the AFC championship game. Then they had the STL Rams winning the Superbowl that year. Now back then they had good reason but Brady and Belichick proved them wrong then. Maybe Vrabel and Drake Maye can do the same and show the Patriots isn't the forces to be recking with.
We gotta get some “On the Daily” merch. #nodaysoff
Loved Vrabel when he was a Pat. Loved him when he was the Panthers head coach. Now he is back home with Craft, one of the best owners in the NFL. It all starts with the drive to win. It's back.
Hey Aaron, I left a comment on one of your Pats preseason videos. I was so excited snd sure that Larison and Chism were gonna be dogs this year. I thought McDaniels would unlock Jahiem Bell. I even thought Baker and Polk were going to excel in this system. I say this now to humbly admit I will leave the gm stuff to Vrabel and his front office. I thought the Pats could have a winning season this year but 11-2( no way). So I said I would admit if I was wrong about Mac Hollins( who I had being cut b4 the start of the season, I'm glad they didnt). Are there any players that b4 the season started that you thought would not make or contribute to the team this year, that has surprised you so far. I don't mean just a little I mean like my take on Mac Hollins not making the roster and he becomes a key piece to the offense? Let us know as fans your takes. Thanks
I'm curious, were there any red flags on Abdul Carter, regarding maturity? I've never been a fan of top defensive players coming out of Penn State…Micah hasn't proven to be an all around dominant DLineman or Lb, even going back to Courtney Brown and Lavar Arington( both great on Madden, but dominant in the nfl, no way) so I just never liked Penn State Defensive players since then. Carter and Micah are kinda the same as Lavar and Courtney in my opinion
All our rookies making imacts😊
Drake Maye has shown something you hardly ever see in the NFL, consistency. The one thing he hasn't shown yet is the big yardage, ability to just out score a highflying offence, but he hasn't had to. Even his worst game of this season he threw for over 200 yards and had a passer rating of 81. Allen has the history of the big comebacks, but Maye has all the tools, and his deep ball accuracy is second to none.
One more draft away. Edge rusher. Big Red Zone possession receiver. Quick, route running tight end who can block. O-Line depth. Linebacker, secondary depth.
Pats and Chicago superbowl
Ponder is leaving the dorst chance he gets because of this stat😂
Maye is young. but he has a swagger that a veteran reciever, i absolutletely love diggs. im 100% a homer though. you only play who you can. and weve been getting results. put us against the best teams, its not our fault they suck. the next game against the bills will be a must win for uswe have a battered o-line but we have a bye.not a bad prognosis. Vrabel knows how to win and he's showed us as much trust the offense and play defense dont let them get yards on special teams and youll be in a good spot. you dont have to win games pretty a guy with no game over 300 yards passing could win mvp. getting first downs when it matters tossing dimes when theyre available. With a pocket that may be chaotic but its maneable at least to maye not to mention our defense which could be an entireley different paragraph.
Josh Allen has regressed every season sinse that epic 3rd season, he is not an ellite QB. He still can not read a defense he does not understand pressure, The only this you can say JA is consistant in is chocking in the playoffs.
See ya in Santa Clara…
