KNICKS OFFENSE GOES NUCLEAR! Deuce McBride Reaches Level Ridiculous! #Knicks vs Jazz Postgame Recap
[Music] Oh, what just happened? Oh man. Hello and welcome into the Knicks verse. This did you guys if if you haven’t seen the game, you might not believe the box score. The Knicks it this was a record-breaking night or you know record setting night from multiple angles. The New York Knicks went on a 23 to nothing start to begin this game, which is the best start of any team since 1996 97 when those stats were even composed, when they even started keeping those stats. So, this is the hottest start that’s ever happened in the history of the NBA, if I if if if my memory serves me correctly. 23 to nothing. outstanding. The New York Knicks were leading by the end of the first quarter by 28 points, which also is some kind of record as well. They were leading 41-13. And then they put up another 40point quarter in the third quarter, 47 points. So that’s 12 40point quarters, which is way more than any other team this season in the NBA. Now, you probably you’re probably thinking, “Oh, well, it’s the Utah Jazz, George.” Now, Utah is not they’re not scrubs. They they’re they’ve won eight games. You know, they’ve beaten some decent teams. Uh and they played last night. Well, they did play last night, though. That is a caveat. They did play last night in Brooklyn, but they won that game 123 to 110 and they beat Houston before that 133 125. So, I mean, eight wins in the NBA, 20 something. G games into the NBA season, you’re not a terrible team. You’re not a good team or you’re not a terrible team. You’re not a three- win team, a two- win team. So, the fact that the Knicks were able to do this, deliver this kind of destruction, this kind of annihilation to the Utah Jazz means a lot. Means a lot. This is not one of those like, oh, you know, you’re supposed to take No. No. The Knicks got off to a 23 to nothing run. And the closest they let this opponent get was 18 points deficit. That’s it. And they ended up winning 14612. The highest scoring game for the Knicks this season. This was shocking, ridiculous, eyeopening. The rest of the NBA is taking notice tonight of what’s happened here. Mitchell Robinson played tonight. He actually played a very good game tonight. I actually was very impressed with his effort tonight. 16 minutes. He was a plus 13, four points, seven rebounds, three offensive rebounds, four defensive rebounds, two steals. He got a block tonight. He was an impact player tonight, and I’m only mentioning him because this is the last time I’m going to talk about him. There’s so many other players to talk about, but really, honestly, this was the Deuce McBride game. this Deuce McBride like what the man that guy that guy is playing like an insane man right now but this start 23 run to start the game longest recorded run in NBA to start a game are you guys assimilating that now that’s recorded before we kept these kind of crazy stats maybe it’s happened before but it’s been at least a 30 30 some 30 plus years since this has happened. That’s a long time and this is a high-scoring uh you know era of NBA. But the Knicks were the first to do this. A plus 28 at the end of the first quarter, largest point differential by the New York Knicks after the first game. And this is since the play-by-play era of 199697. You know, if you were wondering if you had any doubts about the Mike Brown offense, you can just flush that. You can you can alleviate yourself of those doubts. The Mike Brown offense is working. This was my frustration last season because this the these players have this ability and they were being suppressed last year. They were being held back. They were being shackled. Well, this season, the shackles are off and the Knicks are thriving. These players are thriving. And by the way, tonight OG Anobi returned three weeks to the date where he got hurt. Three weeks to the date and the Knicks went six and three. When I did the live stream with uh XJ and Jeff from Hotand Theory, we thought he’d be gone a little bit longer, honestly. And we said, “Hey, if if the Knicks went nine and five during that stretch, would you be happy?” My god, everyone was freaking out. Eight and six would be ecstatic. If we went just seven and five, you know, no, seven uh seven and seven, you know, just if we went 500, they’d be happy. Well, the Knicks the Knicks went 667 winning percentage, six and three they went while OG was out. And then tonight OG returns and the New York Knicks are back in balance and they completely it was like a annihilation of the Utah Jazz. Holy All 12 Knicks that played scored tonight as New York crushes the Jazz 14612 to go. 12-1 at home. Utah played last night in Brooklyn. Knicks showed them no mercy as they should with a three-point onslaught of 21 of 42 three-point attempts. They hit 50% of their three-point shots. It’s nearly impossible, though. They did it the other night. I think they they somehow this Knicks team was able to achieve this the other night. They I don’t know if they shot I can’t remember if they shot 50% against the Celtics, but if a team shoots 50% on this kind of volume for the three-point line, it it’s nearly impossible to lose. Well, tonight they proved it. And this was led by Deuce McBride. This is the Deuce McBride game. This is the night where suddenly people that love basketball are going to completely embrace Deuce McBride. What he did tonight offensively. And by the way, he was ended up being the defensive player of the game according to Mike Brown tonight. That’s right. Look at this deuce. Seven of 10 from the three-point line. Seven of 10. Seven of 10 from the three-point line, you guys. I mean, this is just this is just some crazy Seven of 10. And then Brunson, six of nine, which is a relief because his three-point shot looked a little little broken, little looked a little broken the past couple of games. And then Cat Cat hasn’t, you know, Cat has had like one or two good games from three-point line uh this season. Well, tonight four of six. This New York offense is ridiculous. And ridiculous is the name the word of the night. That is the word of the night. Look at this. In the last six games, Deuce McBride has made 27 of his last 42 three-point attempts. That’s 64% for a three-point line. That’s six games. We’re only 22 games into the season. That’s more than a third. No. Uh a four. More than a more than a fourth. That is that’s substantial. Phenomenal. But look at Macau Bridges right there. Muel Bridges. He’s at 45.2%. Towns in the last six games 40%. Josh Hart 40.6%. 6%. And Jaylen Brunson, the worst three-point shooting starter of the recent starters at 37.5%, which is a very good three-point shooting percentage. Knakes have fixed their And check out Tyler Kick. Look at Tyler Kolick in the last six games. 35.7% from the three-point line. Let’s go Tyler. All right. After that, it gets a little ugly. Gishon 27%. Clarkson 22%. But Clarkson had a good night tonight. He had a very good night tonight. But let’s keep the with this deuce thing. Look at deuce. Just to give you guys a little perspective on the deuce situation. Look at deuce. These are the best three-point shooting players in the NBA right now that are have played at least 12 games and that have attempt at least four three-point shots per game. Aayou do I mean phenomenal for the for the uh the Bulls. He’s shooting nearly 50%. But only 4.1 attempts. Deuce is at 6.3 attempts and he’s averaging 46.2 two for the entire season. He is in He is in the top one, two, three, four, five, six, top six. He is in the elite level of three-point shooters in the NBA. Who would have thought that? our little deuce, our little second round pick who scrappy, who he was, I thought, oh, he’d be a great fit for uh Thibs because he plays tough defense, you know, and and you know, he’s tough as nails, but now look at him. He has become truly an elite three-point shooter up there with guys like Cam Spencer, AJ Green, Dumu, M Max Christie, who is blazing hot. These are the top 10 three-point shooters in the NBA right now. Volume-wise, Norman Powell, uh Kik, I think that’s his name, uh from Atlanta. But the volume level that Deuce is right there, like only only Murray, Powell, and Green have a higher uh three-point attempt rate than Deuce. That’s very valuable. And I just showed you in the past six games, he is insane right now. 64.3%. Let’s go deuce. Let’s go deuce. Let’s go deuce. Love it. Oh man. Outstanding. There he is. 23 22 points tonight, three rebounds, seven three-pointers, and was the defensive player of the game according to Mike Brown. And actually, this uh stat is not that is not uh fully correct. The one I showed you earlier is the correct one. Uh where he has been in the past uh six games he’s shooting 27 to 42, not 27 to 41, but he tweet I think he tweeted this out once he missed one three-point shot after that, but still 60 I mean he’s at 64.3%. It is totally ridiculous. Totally ridiculous. And Mike Brown said our defensive player of the game was Deuce. One thing he’s been phenomenal at is pick and roll situations. Having that type of impact at the point of our defense has been great. He earned it tonight, not just based on tonight, but the last few games, too. And guess what? Tonight was the return of OG and Anobi. That’s right. Deuce didn’t start tonight. Hart got the start and Deuce was able to deliver this quality level game. Everyone’s falling into the right spots on this roster phys. I mean, I know all this talk about Giannis and I’m hearing other rumors other rumors right now, but the way this team is composed, I’m loving it, man. I’m loving it. I’m loving it. Honestly, I’m loving it. Jaylen Brunson as Knicks wiped the garden floor with Utah. 33 points for the captain, nine of 17. Uh six of nine from the three-point line. Uh he shot uh 66.7% from three. He shot almost 53% overall. He hit all nine of his free throws. and he was he ties Josh Hart with the game high in plus minus with a plus 37. Now he played 31 minutes. Josh Hart played 28 minutes. Deuce was a plus 35 and played only 22 minutes. That’s that’s the level of domination we’re talking about here. Unbelievable. in Oji and will be back after three weeks. 11 points for him, four of eight from the field, a plus seven in 23 minutes of play. And uh once in the fourth quarter, early in the fourth quarter, about the 9-minute mark, the benches started clearing Mike Brown. The Knicks were up by 30 plus points at that point. I uh he brought in Yabuelli, Diawara, Kohic, and Hawkport. But he left OG out on the court. And I think it’s cuz he wanted OG to get his legs back because there’s a big game h coming on Sunday. The Knicks face the Orlando Magic on Sunday. The Orlando Magic who have beaten the Knicks twice. The Knicks need to win that game on Sunday. They need to win it for a multitude of reasons. for one, for the for themselves, for their own psyche. though honestly we’ve seen this Knicks team with Cat and Brunson and Hart and uh McCau that core four uh where like last season they were dominated by the Cavs, dominated by the Celtics, dominated by other, you know, the other great teams and then they went out and they just Boston in the in the playoffs and they beat the out of them in the playoffs. So, uh, I mean, they just stole their souls with those two 20 point comebacks in games one and two. So, you know, this team is but still you don’t want to go there. Just establish domination from the beginning and carry it all the way through to the end like they did tonight. But having OG back tonight and being this efficient, that’s a wonderful thing. It’s a wonderful thing. Let’s get to the highlights of this miraculous miraculous start. Wait, let’s go to this the 23 and 0 start. Let’s go. So, Macau Macau was absolutely instrumental in this. He was he was five of five in this first half. Look at Cat hits his first three right there. It’s three nothing. Hart gets the rebound. Hart has been one of the best rebounders of six players that are 6’6 and under in the last four seasons by by a long margin. Brunson showing his little touch right there. Left baseline. Oh, this is a great play. Macau saves. He got the steal. They didn’t show the first part of it. Macau stole that ball and then saved it from going out of bounds. And then Cat, beautiful pass. Perfectly timed. Here it is. They show it now. Perfectly timed pass. Cat’s passing this game has been phenomenal. Was phenomenal. Cat’s passing lately. He’s like leveled up. Okay. Look at Look at Macau. Look at him. Look at him be relentless. Love that from him. We need more from that. I feel like he’s he is having the season of his life right now. Maybe not like uh points generationwise in terms of like how he was with the Nets, but in terms of efficiency, in terms of happiness, he looks like a happier player. Look at that. Cat blocks uh Neric and then Macau out on the break. Dunk. 23 to nothing this run, guys. 23 to nothing. Macau again. More more buckets. Look, now it’s 20 nothing is I think this is the final JB with the step back pull up. Not even a step back, just a pull up. That’s it. 23 to nothing run. The next closest the Knicks allowed the Utah Jazz to get was 18 points. In today’s modern NBA, that is crazy. Especially with a team like the Utah Jazz. They’ve got some great three-point shooters. Markin can shoot the three. Uh Keonte George who’s having a phenomenal season. I think that combination I think they’re like the highest scoring duo in the NBA right now or one of one of the highest scoring duos. They got Sensabal who can hit the three. They got Philip Powski who can hit the three. They got Walter Clayton who can hit the three. They uh they got uh SVI who can hit three. But tonight it didn’t matter because the Knakes established dominance early led by Mau Bridges. What’s crazy about what Macau did tonight is he scores all those buckets in the first half. 10 points, five of five. Doesn’t score at all in the second half, but the Knicks didn’t need it. Knicks didn’t need it. Beautifully done. Beautifully done. Let’s get to the stats. Let’s show you guys some stats here. Here we go. Oh, that’s not that one. Let’s go to Here we go. You guys can see it. Uh you can see OG Anobi finishes with 11 points. He’s a plus seven. Uh Josh Hart, eight points for him, but a plus 37 ties Brunston for the most in plus minus in his 27 minutes of play. Didn’t hit a three. He was 0 for three. You know what’s interesting about this game is even though the Knicks shot 50% from the three-point line at 21 to 42 only hit a three and Clarkson hit two. Clarkson with 205. Clarkson facing his former team but he was traded away from or uh was he? No, he was just uh let go. And oh man, Clarkson delivered some some some really nice play tonight. In his 31 minutes of play, uh 40% from the three-point line, 16 points, he was a plus 16. Uh four rebounds, five assists for him. Look at the assists. The Knicks had 30 assists. Knakes 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 players had assists tonight for the Knicks. 10. And they got 30 assists. That is absolutely gorgeous to see. Love that kind of stuff. And Tyler Kick in his 12 minutes, he had three assists. Uh he finished with two points. Uh Mitch, even though Mitch’s final like, you know, minus five here, Mitch in his seven uh his seven points in his fifth 14 minutes of playing, he really impacted the game on on that court. Uh he was a it was one play, what was that one play, man? He had one play that was just spectacular. He stole a pass uh in the lane and then he gave and then he he threw it to Deuce and Deuce nailed the three. So he gets the assist. Uh did he give him assist? They did give him assist. Yeah, Deuce was just on fire. Deuce was just hitting three after three after three. Clarkson uh hits hit he he hit a three in the third quarter to push the Knicks up to the largest lead at that time which was 30 points and they were 9767 and then Hart passes to a cutting Clarkson who then passes to Deuce in the corner for a three and then it’s 167 and that’s when Deuce was like had made 27 of 41 three-pointers of his most recent three-pointers. Oh, it’s just spectacular. Spectacular. The Knicks outscored the Jazz in that third quarter 47-30. So, they had two 40point quarters in this game. Absolutely nut balls. Nut balls. Insanity. Here we go. Most 40point quarters this season. Tommy Beer lays it out. Knicks with 12. the next close the Heat with seven. And then the Thunder, the mighty Thunder that everyone’s shaking in their boots about have half the amount of 40point quarters that the Knicks have. I want to see that final. I want to see the two teams that are in orange and blue face each other in the finals. It’s going to be fabulous. Here are the team stats. Uh, the Knicks shot 56% overall for this game, 51 of 91. I already told you they shot 50% from the three-point line. They shot 88% from the free throw line, 23 of 26. Though, they did allow Utah to get to the free throw line 35 times. Knicks committed a few too many fouls. Uh they got to clean that up. But at the end of the day, this is I mean, it’s hard to complain about anything in in this victory. Knicks uh dominated the boards 46 to 37. Uh assist 30-23. The Stocks 11 stocks for the Knicks, nine steals, two blocks. Total turnovers, the Knicks did concede a lot of points off turnovers here. Now, I can’t I don’t know. I’m not sure if this is like during the garbage time. So, you got to bear that cuz the Knicks had nine minutes of technically 9 minutes of garbage time where there’s only one starter on the floor and the rest were just bench players and bench players like Diawara. Diwara had a nice game, got to tell you. Diwara 12 minutes for him. Uh he was active. He got a couple of rebounds. He had three assists for Diawara. And the guy is 20 years old. He had picked up a steal. 20 years old. I really believe in the Aara. And have you guys noticed what Dink Pate has been doing in Westchester? Gonna be doing a video, maybe I’ll even do it tomorrow about Dink Paint. He has been fabulous. He has been fabulous in Westchester. The largest lead 41 points for the Knicks. 41 points. What happened? 41 points. That is I think that might be the largest lead the Knicks have had all season, honestly. All right, look at this. 41 points and here’s the 23 and0 run to start the game. Uh the team comparisons right here. Uh I mean it’s all she I mean basically I really just reiterated before the Knicks won the second chance points battle 19 to4. They were dominating the points in the paint, especially early in the game. In the first half, the Knicks were up 24-10 in points in the paint, and they continued that domination 54 to 36 for the rest of the game. Uh the fast points was pretty even by the end of the day. Fabulous. Fabulous. Let’s look at the standings. So, the Detroit Pistons pull out a victory. It was uh close against the uh Portland uh Trailblazers. The Knicks are only two losses behind the Detroit Pistons. Uh and I I mentioned this a few videos ago. I believe that by mid January, the New York Knicks will be firmly in first place in the Eastern Conference. Knicks are now 15-7. They have a 682 winning percentage. They are right in line with finishing with a 60 wins right now. If they continue this trend, 60 wins and they are completely the most they are the most dominant team in the Eastern Conference at home with a 12-1 record. And they have won seven out of the last three games. They’re on a two-game winning streak. The New York Knicks are showing the rest of the league that they are a team to be dealt with. Bait. If the Knicks win on Sunday against the Magic, I don’t think there’s any argument that they are the best team in the Eastern Conference. If they lose on Sunday, it’s a competitive game, whatever, there’s some extenduating circumstances, foul trouble or whatever, then obviously they’re they’re still one of the best teams in the East, but if they win on Sunday, green check mark next to best team in the East by far. This game has told me two things. The first is that this team has fully adjusted to Mike brownโs system offensively and defensively and is an incredibly deep even despite Yabusele seemingly in Mike Brownโs doghouse . The 2nd is that Deuce McBride has officially transformed into 6โ1 Klay Thompson. I will not hear any objections!! Also one more thing the fanbase needs to drop all the Donte DiVincenzo worshipping. Deuce has replaced him and is better than Donte.
There's no reason to trade for anyone. This is THE TEAM. Let's go.

It was Broadway Brillance in the Big Apple. There was cleanup at isle#23, Mitch was dynomite. Clarkson was cooking with fish greece in the paint and was going to the hulla hoop with wreckless abandon. OMG Anouflowbi didn't miss a beat. Bridges was giving the Jazz stitches and was rock solid. McBride Moneyballs were wet as rain. The Brunson Boiler was scoring hot last night. Gershon got the job Yabudabadone. Katallaic GT4 had a lot of juice in the tank and was on his game. Jazz suffered the New York Blues. It was awesome. Mike Brown coached a gem.
Deuce, KAT, Bridges, and Hart are the most lethal 3 point shooters in the last 6 games. JB and Bridges are the best midrange shooters right now.
