The Big Red Machine is back and my goodness, they’re smoking hot. Somebody called the fire department. They just brought out the brooms and swept the Cubs in a high stakes four-game series. Are currently on a five-game win streak and have overtaken the third wildcard spot over the Mets as they hold the tiebreaker against them. Hunter Green pitched absolutely out of his mind in his last outing with nine strikeouts in nine scoreless innings of one hit baseball. Spencer Steer is steering the team in the right direction with some big time moments and these dudes are out there just looking like they’re having a blast. I truly believe that with three wild cards, a lot of the times it does not even matter where you end up with your positioning because in the playoffs, anything can happen in a series. You just have to get in first. Upsets are more common than you think and being hot at the right time is what truly matters. And when it comes to the good old Reds of Cincinnati, well, I think it’s safe to say that they decided to turn up the heat at the right time because there are only two series left in the season until the playoffs. And if they can manage to keep the momentum swinging their way like this, trust me, this is not the kind of team that you would want to be matching up against in the first round of the playoffs because you are going to be in for a dog fight. Will we see the big red machine in October?

  6. I think saying big red machine is a lil over the top but I will say the way terry had tried hard to get this team to work together and get that wildcard spot is very impressive even after they were out a couple of times and then brought them back
