Tyler Toffoli Sees Sharks Growth After Win vs Boston
We’re here with Tyler Tofoy after the Sharks very impressive victory over Boston here on a Sunday afternoon game at the tank. Three out of four in this home stands. That’s just got to be a nice feeling for you guys overall. Yeah, I think it’s it’s um obviously like you said, it’s a really good feeling. Um I think we kind of let one one go yesterday, but um nice to see us move forward so quickly and um have a good performance tonight. Yeah. Did it feel like the team kind of rectified the problems that were happening yesterday against Ottawa? Yeah, in a sense. I mean, I think we just played overall a lot better. So, um, if we just continue to build and, uh, understand what, you know, makes us successful. We just got to keep pushing. These tight wins were the games that a year ago were probably onegoal losses or overtime losses, something to that effect. How nice is it to be able to handle these games, manage the situations, and walk away with the two points? Yeah, it’s good. It’s huge. Um, obviously I think our confidence is really high going in into every single game and um, I think it’s showing mostly every single night. So, like I said, we just got to keep moving forward and um, a really good opponent on Wednesday, I think it is. And, uh, be ready for that. You’re obviously watching a lot of these younger guys continue to ascend. And how much fun is it for you to watch when you do see Will and Mack and Colin Graph and Shakir Mcmullahan or even Sam Dickinson today starting to find their legs more in this league because this was a situation you were in a while ago but you know you went through it yourself and you see them learning it in real time. For sure. I mean they’re getting a lot of opportunity too and I think you know they’ve been doing a really good job of it and um definitely one of the reasons why we’ve been successful this season. So, um, you know, got to keep improving, keep getting better every day and, um, you know, just keep building off of, you know, the things that have been making us successful. Have you had to tell Michael Niss not to be frustrated with injury that it’s a part of being in the NHL? I mean, there’s not much really for me to say. I mean, uh, obviously unfortunate, so, uh, hopefully it comes back soon. Yeah. And just the difference from a year ago with the team, is that pretty fun for you to watch and be a part of at the same time? Yeah. I mean, obviously it’s been a huge jump and I think everybody’s excited. our expectations are extremely high and um I think like I said going into every single game we’re uh expecting to win uh and really believe in ourselves. Is that was that belief I guess was it a different type of belief because I know you guys were confident always in good vibes at practice when I was there but is it just an overall different feel right now because the hard work is being rewarded? I mean vibes are good because there’s just good guys in the locker room so uh we’re just same same vibes and winning more games. Nice. Nice. Um, what do you make of the power play right now? Because I know that’s continually been a talking point for the team. Yeah, I mean, obviously we’re we’re working hard to, you know, get better and try and figure things out and, um, whether you’re scoring goals or not, you just got to make sure you’re building momentum and, um, I thought we did a pretty good job tonight, obviously getting the one, but uh, along with the five on three, getting a lot of really good looks and, um, you know, just couldn’t find it there. Nadelovic was really good yesterday. Asky once again, really, really good today. How much confidence is there watching your goalies play the way they’re playing right now? Yeah, it’s great. It makes us helps us play a lot more freely. Um, understanding that, you know, every once in a while there is going to be um a breakdown. You’re you’re playing against really good hockey players and um knowing that they’re be behind us and and they’re making clutch saves and keeping us in games uh definitely helps us a lot. How about in practice going against two guys like that? Is that you feel it helps your game? For sure. I mean, obviously competition’s high. ask. He’s obviously very outspoken and his jokes on the ice and as uh and Ned uh sneaky a lot of sneaky chirps. So, uh it’s definitely been a lot of fun. That’s cool. Now, what’s your plan now for the next two days? Just rest and get ready for Colorado. Yeah, just uh same old uh you watch the football game tomorrow night and um you know, just chill out. Yeah. And just you know, you guys have been another one of the red hot teams in the NHL right now. I know that Colorado is a red hot team. They’ve got a Stanley Cup as a pelt on their wall. But, you know, do you feel like this team right now has the right type of confidence and mentality going up against these hot teams like Boston, another hot team, you guys just took them down? For sure. I think uh like I said, we have the confidence going into every single game and um they’re going to be ready for us. Obviously, we uh we played them here at home and uh obviously played well and and everything against them. So, uh it’s going to be a tough matchup and it’s always a hard building to go into. Here’s the other question I’ve been asking. Do you have a go-to win meal or do you take whatever’s on the table? Uh, whatever’s on the table. Uh, nothing nothing too too special. Right on, man. Well, I let you go. Congrats on the win. Have a happy Thanksgiving. We’ll see you back here soon. All right. Awesome. Thank you.

Obviously
Tafoli clearly isn’t right, he has no power on his shots right now. He hasn’t scored in quite awhile.
The real " Italiano "
What about Toffoli? What’s happening with him?
Loving these Ted!
