The NBA Has a Huge New York Knicks Problem…
The Knicks are playing their best basketball of the season and Deuce McBride is a large reason why. Take a look at how he’s able to just get open and diar crosscourt pass and the defender just overcommits on this contest and Deuce is still able to knock it down. He’s become the best shooter on the Knicks. And if you guys remember, he was unplayable at times early in his career because he just couldn’t shoot. But now legit, he’s even better shooter than Brunson. I mean, this is just pure concentration. Able to create just enough space and the defender tries to fly by cuz Deuce was just erupting to this point. He wouldn’t make the free throw as well. And look at the look on Deuce’s face. Just nothing but business right there. Here’s the free throw. Everything Deuce is shooting isn’t even hitting the rim. Now he’s at the top of the key. He’s going to kick out to Yara and then he comes to the ball and he just pulls it. I mean, this is unreal. The way Deuce is shooting and these are consecutive possessions. It’s not like I’m editing this. This is literally every single possession down the floor. Deuce is on a mission. Brunson drawing help. The funny thing is Cat’s wide open. Like there’s no one even on Cat. And take a look at how he just goes to the closest guy, which is Deuce. And this is just how much space he needs. I mean, this is ridiculous. Oh, I poorly edited it. This does go in. My bad. I’m a freaking idiot. But like Deuce is just the way he shoots. I’m just so happy cuz the Knicks drafted him in the second round. And Hitman and Mitch have both become just absolute key bench pieces for this team. And I say bench like they they come off the bench, but I mean these are some of the best bench guys in the league. Deuce McBride ended up finishing the game 22 minutes, 22 points, just scorching hot. Like I said, seven of 10 from three, but most importantly a plus 35, which isn’t a game high, just absurd to think about. Prun was a plus 37, 33 points at 31 minutes for the captain. But Deuce, whenever he’s on the floor, the Knicks are just a better basketball team. Like it doesn’t matter if OG’s healthy or not. When Deuce is out there, the Knicks play their best basketball and he can take over a game with the way he shoots. And him and Brunson, it’s just a perfect fit. And at one point, this team also had Emanuel quickly. Dante Dvenenza, right? I mean, wow. The Knicks have just been bringing in and drafting some highlevel shooting guards. Uh, and shooting guards in the sense of the way they’re able to shoot the basketball. And that’s not even to mention Deuce’s defense. He doesn’t take a possession off. He’s, in my opinion, the best point of attack defender. I think you could argue with Muel Bridges. Both of them were incredible, but in a sevengame series, the Knicks have OG, they’ve got male and they’ve got Deuce McBride, Mitchell Robinson, guys that can just switch everything and make it tough. Now, I do stand on this. I don’t know if the Knicks can win a championship with both Cat and Brunson. But I guess they can because the Knicks reportedly are not pursuing Giannis and that has to mean, absolutely has to mean that they believe this team can. And obviously those guys know way more about the team than me because they’re there every single day, right? So, I guess the Knicks just they have to be consistent. They’ve been playing high level basketball. They lost to the Celtics by I think what four points, guys. And Brunson played his worst game as a Knicks. So, I’m not really too concerned if if Deuce and Mitch and these guys can just continue to play like they are. I mean, it’s going to be very difficult to beat the Knicks four out of seven times. And Mike Brown, he he deserves to get more time. It’s his first year with the Knicks. And, you know, by April, by May, I mean, this is just going to look like a completely different team. And the Knicks, they’ve been winning games. Say what you want. Yeah, they’re not beating the winning teams. Like, I get that. But at the end of the day, the Knicks are playing winning basketball. I mean, of course, they’ve won what, one, two, three, four, five, five of our last six games, so I feel good. Sunday is a home game against the Magic at 12 p.m. Really? They have football that’s makes no sense, but I guess, you know, if you’re a Giant fan or Jet fan, you’re probably not mad about that. So, yeah, the early game for the Knicks. I definitely will have a video for you guys out after that Tuesday at Toronto. So, a couple of tough tough Eastern Conference teams. Uh, the Knicks just played the Raptors. It was an absolute massacre. So, it’s not going to be that way that this time around. Obviously, Indiana struggled, but you just look at the East. It’s just absolutely wide open. I mean, last year, the Knicks beat the Celtics. Of course, they they took the Pacers to six. They beat the Pistons. I mean, yeah, the Pistons are definitely improved. They’re going to be very difficult. The Cavs aren’t going anywhere, but it just seems like the Knicks, they’ve got to get it done this year. And of course they have a window because K and Brunson are in their primes and OG’s like not like they’re an old team or anything like the oldest player in the Knicks is Jordan Clarkson at 33. But I I just want to see the Knicks play like this every single night. I mean the Knicks approached this game like it was a playoff one against like the in the finals against the Rockies or something like that or the whoever you think is going to make it. I mean the Knicks just came out ready to go and they never got complacent. They never took their foot off the gas and there’s currently two minutes left in this game and they’re still competing. They’re still going after offensive rebounds. They’re still getting back in transition and know that they do give up a bucket, but everyone was back. All five guys were right there ready to contest. So, Mike Brown, man, say what you want about him. I mean, yeah, the Knicks are pretty much the same team as they were last year in terms of statistically, but I do think that the offense is just looks better. I mean, the Knicks have by far the most 40point quarters in basketball, and that says a lot. It says that the Knicks just are capable of erupting, and when they want to play defense, they absolutely can. Like we saw it even I hate to bring up last season because it’s kind of irrelevant to this point, but we saw stretches last season where the Knicks just they looked elite defensively. Like you don’t come back down 20 points consecutive nights against the defending champion Celtics by not playing elite defense. I mean, so we know that male and OG can fly around. Then you got Mitch out there who’s a sevenfooter that can switch everything. Brunson and Cat, that’s going to be the thing. Cat’s just a bad defender. Like he’s slowing his feet laterally. Jaylen Brunson is an effort guy. He’ll take he’ll draw charges, but he’s 6’2. Brunson like he’s going to put all of his focus into the offense and and he should put all of his focus into the offense. I mean, if Brunson could be average defender, the Knicks will definitely take that. But it’s how can you construct a game plan basically to make sure that hey, look, they’re not just going to run high pick and roll every single time and get a mismatch. And once the Knicks figure that out, then yeah, they can absolutely win a championship, but Cat needs to be the guy. And I literally, dude, I’ll die in that. Cat has to be the guy. I’m not saying he has to be the best player for the Knicks cuz Brunson like is the best player, but Cat needs to make his impact belt every single night and be physical. Do not commit silly fouls. Cat’s averaging four fouls a game. That’s not going to get it done against the Hornets. Cat looked unstoppable. There’s been multiple games this season where Cats looked unstoppable, but there’s also been games like at time like even the Celtics game, like at times where Cat is just making boneheaded decisions and he’s got to be better. But yeah, I I do trust the Knicks. I I think the Knicks can win a championship. I mean, everything’s going to have to go right. They’re going to have to stay healthy. I mean, maybe they’ll make a move at the buyout market. I don’t think the Knicks like need to get Giannis to win a championship, but they definitely are going to have to make changes. Like, there’s no question about it. And we’re starting to see them. And at the end of the day, with this win, the Knicks are going to go to I don’t honestly don’t even know what our record is, but now 15-7. The Knicks are now 15 and seven on the season. So, you don’t get to 15-7 by, you know, being a bad basketball team, but against the Magic coming up against the Raptors, those are games that the Knicks just have to get. Like the Knicks haven’t put together consecutive wins against good teams all season. I can pretty much promise you that. Well, you know, they did beat the Cavs and then they beat the Celtics, but I like Celtics I mean Celtics technically I mean technically that that is too a good team. Two teams that are making the playoffs, but then they did lose to Miami. They lost to Milwaukee. So this is a stretch to watch out for Sunday and Tuesday. Nobody’s expecting 65 wins out of the Knicks. But what they are expecting again is just consistency and competing every single night. And yeah, I just liked what I saw. But again, it is a struggling Jazz team coming off of a backto-back, but the blueprint’s there. The blueprint is absolutely there. And know, I don’t know why Clarkson Clarkson’s been in for the last six minutes. It doesn’t make a lot of sense here. Is Yabasale is getting some cardio, man. I mean, Yabisale Clarkson, these are two good bench pieces. Yabisale hasn’t I mean, Yabis plays, but I thought he’d have a bigger role. I I think he I’m not going to say he’s out of shape, but he he put on like 16 pounds, it’s looking like. I mean, Yabis definitely needs to slim down a little bit. I mean, unless the Knicks want him to be that backup five. Well, they have Mitch, but unless they want him to play like a big type of role, but I don’t think Yabasale is best utilizes that. I think he’s best utilized as a four. Yeah, definitely let me know your guys’ thoughts on that. I mean, precious Achua like Yabasale to me is an upgrade over Achua if I’m being I think he’s just a better player. Achua is now with the Kings. I think that’s all I got, man. I’m about to sign out.

We can’t totally start deuce and crush it, trade og and bridges for Giannis and run Jalen , deuce , Giannis and Kat who ever else is out there with them heart or even Kuzma we will be fine. But i don’t really want kuzma lol
Knicks are a huge problem against bad teams. But against good teams Knicks are a huge problem for the Knicks.
Knicks need to make a statement win against Orlando Magic
Just need to improve our road games and get that number one seed
we need to start deuce as an official part of the starting lineup with everyone healthy. Brunson Deuce Mikal Og Kat gives you unreal scoring especially under mike browns system. deuce Mikal Og are a great defensive trio to make up for brunson and kats deficiency’s.
How are we not beating the winning teams we beat tue cavs celtic heat chicago wen they was the number 1 seed we beat the timberwolves like our schedule is wat it is
Last summer the knicks fans were talking about trading Deuce because "we have our PG of the future in Tyler Kolek."
5:34 Deuce is 6'2" also (I think he has a need wingspan though)
Stop this click bait! we have beaten cleveland okc, spurs, rockets, magic, pistons, top teams of the nba. yet you say we are a problem.
Mike Brown is working the plan give him time to set up the team up for success. He is still figuring things out the talent is there.
Miles McBride is so good 🔥🔥🔥
Give me a win against Orlando and then I'll praise the Knicks
I knew Duece could do this and he still hasn't reached his full potential yet. His first year stunted him thanks thibs.
