Brad Marchand’s touch of the puck was deemed a deflection and not a hand pass. It led to a good 2nd goal for FLA. The Lightning had a version of this goal recalled on Thursday.

  1. SHOCKER, another post about the Panthers. Someone reset the counter to 0…again.

Get over the hand pass, and take a cold shower to get rid of the hard on for the Panthers.

  2. I think it’s a good example of how mercurial anything involving swatting/hand motion rules are in hockey right now and it’s weird.

Regardless of team “hur dur pAnThErS LiVinG rEnT FrEe” it just sucks that it seems to be up to how the ref sees a quick hand . There was a Carolina game early in the season where there was a ton of hand pass/goal shenanigans too. Not sure if it’s just survivorship bias or what, but it seems very prevalent this season.

  3. Understandable post here but guys, we really need to just move on from this. Everyone is fighting the officiating all year every season. We’re no exception. You win some you lose some. Everyone in our locker room has moved past it, we should too.
