What’s your favorite spurs jersey of all time?

  1. Honestly any away/road jersey (black primaries with white/silver secondaries) has always looked tough to me.

  2. 1989-2002 and/or 2010-2014 home and away are my favorite “standard” jerseys. The SPURS lettering and jersey number on those have the most “character” and are thick and blocky.

The team name lettering has gradually lost the original personality it once had, becoming thinner, and smaller. Compare the typeface of the current jerseys with those ’89-’02/’10-’14 ones to see what I”m talking about.

  3. I said this before but I’ve seen better fan jersey designs than the stuff this “marketing team “ has put out in the last decade. Digital camo – no. Silver that match the referees silver that Manu would pass to. The god awful tower orange and white , the worst .
We are black and silver/ silver and black. How many other teams have incorporated our color in their scheme. We are the Spurs fans we are the people who support and support $$ the team. Need to do something better.

  4. The first “Hemisfair” city jerseys were so well done; I didn’t expect to like anything based on brown and green but it fucking works.

The current fiesta ones would be the GOAT though if they used the Gervin-era outline-only numerals.

Third will be the 2003- black ones with the double-outlined numbers, before Adidas changed them to a v-neck and Nike ruined the armhole piping.

Special mention to that one Christmas edition jersey with the cursive lettering.

  5. if i could get my hands on those old ‘Chaps’ jersey, id be very happy. those are IMMACULATE.

  6. 2005 jersey. If not that, the vanilla christmas jersey or the camo sleeved jersey(green one).
