But, let’s get to this one between the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Titans. Not going to lie, this is one of the more ugly games of the weekend. You got the Browns 3 and N on the year, 5-7 against the number. They’re coming off that 26-8 loss at the hands of San Francisco, while Tennessee comes off a 25-3 loss to Jacksonville in their last game. That was a little bit of a disappointing performance for Tennessee considering the fact that this was a team that, you know, was actually putting up some decent offensive numbers against some quality competition in the prior weeks. I mean, they put up 24 at home against the Seahawks, 20 against the uh the LA Chargers, and then just put up a dud in that game. And, you know, Cam Ward, as much as I like him, as much I liked what he what he did, you know, at the in the college ranks, the fact of the matter is is that I just don’t know how he cuts it, you know, at this level right now. I mean, maybe it’s just that he has to get in a better spot and maybe the Titans just have to be a better organization and build around him. But right now, he’s just Yeah, he’s just doing a lot of dink and dunk short passes. 24 of 38 for 141 yards. That’s what six yards per completion. That’s not going to, you know, move the ball down the field. And right now, Tennessee’s run game is one of the worst in the off in the uh in the NFL as well. So, it’s hard for this team to move up and down the field. And I think they’re going to have trouble here against a Titans, excuse me, against a Browns team that if there’s one thing that’s good about this team right now, it’s their defense. They’re second in the NFL in total defense, top 10 against the rush, third against the pass. They’re the best in the NFL in yards per carry. So, what that tells me is you shut down the run game for Tennessee, you force them to go through the air, and like I said, Cam Ward has not been able to really do very much this season. I don’t know where points are going to come from from Tennessee in this game. On the other hand, I do think that Cleveland has a solid option here in Shador Sanders. You know, I know we’ve been critical about him on our morning show and, you know, I’m still critical because, you know, right now I don’t think that he’s in a good position to, you know, be able to to do much at the next level. You know, whether that’s, you know, him being able to, you know, take that next step on his own or if the Cleveland Browns have to kind of do the same thing and build around their quarterback. But the thing for me is that the reason I’m critical of Shadur and while I’ve why I’ve gotten some some criticism about it is because like I said I just think that you know the good quarterbacks the elite quarterbacks can take nothing and make it into something. We’ve seen Tom Brady do it. We’ve seen like I’ll even go so far as to say we’ve seen Drake May do it this season in New England. You know, we’ve seen other quarterbacks do it throughout the years where they can take nothing and just and make guys good around them. Josh Allen’s doing it all the time. Hell, when Josh Allen doesn’t have the receivers, he can at least move the ball on the ground with his feet and, you know, and and you know, at least make an impact himself. Cleveland, like I said, the offense just hasn’t been there. And I don’t know if there’s going to be much offense in this game. It is supposed to be freezing in this game. You’re taking a Tennessee team that normally plays in warmer weather, add in the Cleveland defense. And I think that, like I said, it wouldn’t surprise me if Cleveland was shut out in this game. But I also don’t expect much scoring from Cleveland in this game. You know, it’s very telling to me that, you know, a prop that I sometimes look at is no touchdowns to be scored in the game. Normally, you see those props at plus 5,500, plus 6,000 or greater. This game is at plus 2,200. Not much scoring is being anticipated in this game because of, you know, just poor offense. You know, solid defense, at least from Cleveland’s side, and sporadic defense that can still show up from Tennessee. And I think this could be a spot where, you know, Cleveland’s offense could be so poor that it could make Tennessee’s defense look good. This could be very well be a game where it finishes 129 and it’s just field goals that win this game. That would not surprise me in the slightest. I know it’s a low total, but I’m rolling with the under here between Cleveland and Tennessee. That is my free pick for this game. Thank you so much for checking out this free pick video.
