I realize we are not anywhere near being the offense the oilers are, but why do we have to get goalied by Comrie and they don’t.

  1. It’s not just the goal , it’s the team . It’s a team game . Goalie is the last line of defence.
    Oilers are rested without travel .
    Jets played on Friday and traveled .

  3. I’d like to disagree with your post title that BUF isn’t anywhere near the offense of EDM:

    BUF has iced 27 skaters this season, 20 of which (74%) have scored at least once.

    EDM has iced 25 skaters this season, 21 of which (84%) have scored at least once.

    This paints the picture that EDM has better scoring, but I’d argue otherwise. Our top end forwards have been comparable in G/GP, and overall BUF is deeper by that metric:

    But, looking at G/60? BUF is much deeper and has many more scoring threats than EDM. If this org can get its shit together these guys might actually play springtime hockey.
