According to team sources, Sirianni has had greater involvement in the offensive game plan this week and has spent more time with the team before handing them off to Patullo.

KP will still be playcaller for MNF against the Chargers.

Was not sure what to tag the post so I just put rumor since it wasn’t directly confirmed by Sirianni, KP, or any of the players.

  1. Just saw Saquon say that the energy on the sideline has been “awful”. Anyone watching would agree, and it’s a far cry from the energy we saw from them at the peak of their powers last year.

It is an emotional and psychological game…seems silly to pin so much on “vibes” but that’s really what I’d like to see change….and the positivity rabbit will get it done

  2. Jordan also said they’ve added some “new wrinkles” in the run game for this week. Saquon was asked about that and had a big smile and mentioned they have a great game plan for this week, so……. guess we’ll see?? Not holding my breath at this point though

  3. This is literally his offense, he’s the one who’s made it a boring high school offense

  4. I feel like he’s had a huge hand in this offensive display already so this isn’t really surprising to me. I doubt he’s just sat back and let KP ruin everything lol. Hopefully I’m wrong and they change things around

  5. Is this a soft launch of Sirianni calling plays on Monday? Or maybe a new play caller? When they gave defense play calling duties to Matty P in 2023 they announced it Sunday evening before a Monday night game.

  6. more sirianni in the offense has always correlated to a worse offense so i’m not a big fan of this 😬

  7. The problem with this is that the playcalling flow is part of the issue. The scripted drives usually look good. It’s the chess of setting things up, running different plays off similar looks, balancing running and passing in a non predictable way that is missing from this offense.

  8. I mean look at least they’re trying something, if it doesn’t work then nothing changes but if he can actually turn it around that’s a huge win for Sirianni. The offense has the personnel to turn things around, and even some of the play calls have been solid, they just need to put a full game together

  9. This doesn’t make me feel better; he kinda sucks at play calling which is why there is a guy that calls the plays.

  10. Cool ..

I just watched Georgia, not exactly a known offensive innovator, run a better route combo than maybe any play Patullo has drawn up this year. Clear out+ a fake screen and that opened a wide open 7 for like 25 yards. Where has that been this year in Philly?

  11. FWIW Sirianni was the playcaller originally in 2021 before Shane Steichen was handed over playcalling duties. With that said, as much as I DON’T trust Sirianni taking over playcalling duties, we are at the point where ANYTHING is better than doing nothing.

  12. Have a feeling this is the result of Lurie and Howie wanting him to prove his worth because another bad OC hire from within has dampened a season.

  13. More Sirianni? Patullo is using the Sirianni playbook and philosophy. So we will get triple of what we already are getting? Is that a good thing?

  14. Why, when his OC has no experience at the job, has he not been more involved from the start?

Anyway, sure, whatever, better late than never. This better help, though, because if it still looks just as bad…oof.

  15. Yeah, that wasn’t the issue or possibly the exact problem. But it’s what we got so let’s see what happens Monday.
