Wild vs. Canucks | NHL Highlights | December 06, 2025

That’s not going to help anybody, but man are they
thin now without Person in the lineup. It’ll be a challenge against a hot wild team when it rains
at Forest and we’re familiar with that. Now the puck came I don’t think he was expecting it to
get past the stick of Matt Baldy. Zucarella was serving the penalty. He’s out of the box and he’s
in on a twoon-one. Matt Zucarella centers. Baldi scores. 11th goal in 15 games for Matt Baldy. And
as soon as the Wild were back to full strength, they strike to open the scoring. Almost everything
turned around for the Wild when Matt Zuckerello came back in their lineup November the 7th.
Zukarella holds the puck after Trenan got the turnover in the middle of the ice. Look at
Zukarelloo head up the entire way and Matt Baldy who can really shoot the puck. This
is a young star in the making for the Wild as he takes the one-time. David Camp comes in
to join the battle for the puck. Garland gets it back to Heronic. Left point Hughes. Pass to
Garland. Wrist shot glove by Volstead. They’d love to have a lot of that tonight. Going
to be tougher against the Wild who just do not give up much. Tough opponent. And no Elias
Patterson hit the end glass. Now Kane to the blue line. Heronic Ratu Hughes down the left side.
Spinning with the puck. Backhander stopped by Volstead. Loose puck and he’ll grab it. Puck
still loose. Hughes down from the blue line. Quinn Hughes carries back. Quick shift to get
away from Pickle. He shoots and another glove save by Volstead able to keep his balance. Here
comes Minnesota. Threeon two. Yakov Trenon and Trenon with a wrist shot enough to challenge
and make a blocker save was Nikita Toapilo. Canucks send the puck back into the Minnesota end. Both teams start to change. Just
over 8 minutes left in the first. Arid Pays who had the only Canuck goal in the
4-1 loss to Utah last night and he scored to make it two to one and the Conucks had little
bit of push at that time. Here’s a breakaway. Capri off stopped by Toapilo stops the first
one. Look at Zukarelloo and Capri off. These two fit hand and glove. Just an amazing
read by Zukarella to know where Capri off was toilo with the block with the breakaway
stop. This is the blocker up. Sheared the blade right off. He goes to the bench and
is replaced by Lenus Carlson. Ogurt finds Ryan Hartman who’s in on the right wing.
Wrist shot stopped by Tapilo. Nico with Ryan sooner and Jared Spurgeon. Long shot by
Vander. Stopped by Minnesota goalender and the Canucks clear the zone. Ballstead.
That save on the long shot by Vander. Ericette. Nice pass. Cutting in is Trenon.
He shoots. Great bad save by Toapila. Just one day after her 10th birthday. He stopped
Trenan twice on good chances in this period and throwing the Capri off save as well. It’s
been a busy week for Nikita Toppilo. Earlier became a firsttime father, then went down,
played a game. Now he’s back up at the big club and starting at home and he’s going to face
another chance and a right pad save on Johansson Euro surgery. More than 250
draws. He was 13th in the NHL. Here’s a centering pass all alone. Broaddin
and Tipino save they recovered to stop the puck from getting past him. Pretty
feisty start to this game around the front of both nets that as Broaddin
couldn’t or Broaddin shot catches Tolapo high up on the right shoulder.
He makes the stop and nice job in the nose. Hartman’s okay at the
wild bench. He’s always down like that, but he’s okay now back to his feet. He likes
to drop penalties. is in the midst of it, but he’s fine. Queen Hughes on an extended ship
just over a minute and a half as Toapino gets a whistle on that save off Eriksonette covering
the puck in the crease in some discomfort. Here’s Piggo and slap shot off a Canucks
stick. Didn’t wind its way into the goal. Canucks break out of Ander Kane inside the
line. Sherwood centers offcated in round two. Second of the year after review is determined that the puck
was kicked into the net. We have no goal. I Everybody thinks you can find when
you hear about a Capri off, you go, “Well, why hasn’t our team done that?
Williams broken his stick here and the Conucks try to take advantage. Here’s
a chance. Felander shoots it, scores. Lenus Carlson grabs the puck. It’s the first
career goal for Tom Vander. And the Conucks have pulled even at one. Off some ability
here. The Brust wins this puck off the board. You see William without a stick. So he’s almost
defenseless. Carlson, who made a couple of these plays last night, head up and looks across the
ice. He’s got his head up the entire way. He scans the ice and he finds Vander and Vander going to
go behind the screen of Nico Stern. Ballstead does not see this. A first NHL goal. Congratulations
to Tom Vander. It’s 1-1 after about a month-long stretch where he’s been really happy with his
wild team as they weren’t very good in Calgary, but they’ve had a tremendous November. They
score. It’s the other young defenseman. Elias Patterson from long range. And it’s two-1
Vancouver. The Canucks have really dominated the faceoff circle. That’s a second effort win
by Ratu. His goal was disallowed earlier, but he wins the draw in the second effort. They
go D to D. Valander to Patterson. Three young guys connect here again. And Person’s long
shot sifts under the glove. Baldi in on the left wing. Matt Balding forced behind the net
by Hugh. Still got a wraparound try and able to hold his ground and cover the puck. Scored
the first goal of the game on the one-time. Look at him shove off. Broke his stick. Plenty
of plenty of time to go get one as that scrub lasted forever. Twoonone Vancouver. Roger to
Sherwood. Out to Roachu shoots. He scores. He didn’t kick that one. Built his work on the
faceoff circle. Strong work by Evander Kane to win the puck battle. You mentioned Eurovv doesn’t
have a stick. It’s the second goal the Wild have had. Four guys on the ice with a stick. Ratu holds
this. Middleton gave him plenty of room as he was taking the pass away and then he wanted to attack
late but Ratu who can really shoot the wrist shot. Snaps this one. Here’s Johansson bringing the puck
ahead. Sifts his way in over the blue line. Now throws the puck back to Jared Spurgeon. Rashan
off the crossbar. I think Ericson tipped it. As I mentioned earlier, such a important player for
the Wild. He gets the deflection on the Spurgeon shot and it goes up over the right shoulder
of Tolapilo. Fortunately for the and Hughes shifts the puck to the end boards. Now Capri on
to the middle turned over. Sone stopped by Ball. pops up into the air and Carlson is just I
think of the things he’s shown is a really active stick. He’s got a good head to the
game. Sends the puck to Middleton. He’ll bank in center. Capri leaves for moves to the
crease. Oh, and Spurgeon had a great chance there moving in much like at the beginning of
the second period. This is Baldi going around the back of the net or rather you’re off going
around the back of the net. Spurgeon tips that up wide and high. Eurovv’s just back in the
lineup. They really like him. He’s They were wondering what he was going to be able and Jake
Brush starts back. Wants to start a change here and he’ll dump the puck in deep. Ballstead out
of his net. Doesn’t know who’s there. He scores. This crazy week continues for Atu Raju. The Wild
go back and they tap Yes. Volstead. Whoops. When the goalender hangs on to the puck, he’s looking
for a place to play it. But now he’s bobbled it once. He’s got Bu standing two feet to his right,
but he can’t get it to him. And Atu Ratu’s got his second. I don’t think he’s going to find an easier
one. And Zukarelloo collects it center. Poke check by Connor Garland. And here comes Sherwood up the
gut. Kefir Sherwood geeks. There’ll be a penalty here at least. Let’s see. Break away Sherwood’s
had in about five games here. This is a great play by Garland. And Sherwood who had just come off
the bench and taken away David Camp on a change is going to try to go to the back end. There’s
the whack from Brock Fab. He wants a penalty shot. There won’t be one. And we’ll go back to
four. Hughes gets the puck and feeds it back to his own blue line to Marcus Patterson. We’re into
the second half of the third period. Conucks up four to one. Hughes it round the net out the side.
Centers for Besser couldn’t get a shot away. Still was able to slide it towards Vladimir Terasenko
in with a drop pass. Marcus Johansson takes the puck wide. Now cuts over with a shot. Nikita
Toapilo has it. More traffic, more commotion around the Vancouver goal crease. Nikita Toapilo
just continues to maintain his calm. He’s really had a a nice way about him. But Myers takes it
behind the net, puts it off the glass, kept into the blue line by Zukarelloo. Favor long shot hit a
body in front. Garland gets the rebound. Couldn’t settle it. Here’s Capri off. Zukarelloo turning
sets up shop in the faceoff circle. Shoots. He scores over the shoulder of Nikita Toapilo. And
with 238 to go, the Wild with a goal six on four. Pull within two. The Wild are able to retrieve the
puck a couple of times. Look at Erikson perfectly positioned standing right on top of the crease and
Tolapo can’t see it. He actually gets Tolapo does flat into the net instead of attacking where the
shot is coming from. He ends up getting small. And now they play keep away. 5 seconds left and the
Canucks a much needed win. Second in nine games.

  1. Canucks young stars looking promising! A good tank year + convincing Hughes to stick around a short retool, or getting a buncha future assets for a proper rebuild can make this team into a contender in 2-5 years

  2. Wow the Canucks finally played Raty over 9min in a game lol. Been saying it since the start right now he is a 2nd line centerman and the Canucks wont play him there. Pathetic

  3. It's always frustrating when pro goalies get caught behind the net. Your job is to protect the front of the net, leave the back of the net for your D men.

  4. Tell me how Kaprizov is worth 17 million dollars a year. You could get 3 really solid guys for that. He should be putting up ridiculous numbers for that amount a year.
