Red Wings vs. Kraken | NHL Highlights | December 06, 2025

Snowqualami Casino Sportsbook opening faceoff.
Sit back and enjoy this one. Brandon Montour gets to it. Veneers will take over who plays to
the outside for McCann hitting a hole. Jordan Everly with a button hook hammered by Dunn
and stopped by Gibson. Tough situation for the rookie on the wrong side of the puck and Detroit
goes to work on the power play. They are seventh best. Cider up top off the goal post. It stays
out. Couple of good looks right off the initial faceoff. Going to be Cider throwing it through.
Joey has no sight line at all as that puck hits the post and the Kraken have allowed seven power
play goals and 14 chances the last five. And the court came across. Puts it off the side of the
net here. We’re watch this going on there. Break out. A little opportunity right there. Excellent
stop by Joey Dord on Lucas Raymond sliding across it. Lucas Raymond with patience now to the
corner back for Cider guarded by Winterton. Lurin shot gone by Joey Decor. Scored his first
goal in the NHL against Seattle in Detroit a few weeks ago. Goes by Van Reamdike. Danielson will
drop it back. Sandine Pelica. He’ll walk the line now. Danielson cross ice of Dandy. What a pass.
A great setup to EMTT Finny. And just like that, with 15 seconds left on their power play,
Detroit breaks the ice. Oh, second unit for Detroit waiting for the seam pass to go across.
And tough one there as Joey tries to get to the far side. A one-time pass. Perfectly put on the
tape. Danielson over to Finny. And Joey that close to getting a glove on it. Not able to get
a piece. Scores again. Looking for a tip. It is tipped wide though by Rasmusen. played along the
boards. Dug out by Ben Baneer. Held in. Michael Rasmusen off the glove hand of Dour. Totter
Blum gets to and out of the corner. Back to the point. Bernard Docker now Sherro shielded by the
stick of Dort. John JT Piper with you. Supported by our great guru Capo Kako for Tolvenen. Kako
Tolvin stopped by Gibson. Matty veneers throws on the brakes. Deals it back for Vince Dunn.
Veneers calling for it with a shot picked off by Gibson. McCann retrieves it. 28 seconds
left in the manpower advantage. Beners walks it, shoots it off metal, I believe. And now it’s
loose to the wall for McCann. He attacked the player that already blocked the shot. Matty
with a great one there right off the elbow. To the outside. Done. Everly. Oh, a great stick by
Edmonson on Beneers. McCann in front off Gibson. Stevenson smothered by John Gibson. Hobbling off
to the bench and great opportunity out in front. Plays moving around. Evson can barely stand out
in front and John Gibson. Finny greeted there by a hit from McCann preventing a scoring chance. The
near now will swoop away from Lucas Raymond with two tight turns. Nice pass for Everly. Here come
the Kraken again. Montour with a shot. He scores. Oh, it’s a Monty Mash labeled with no
mistake. And with 344 left in period one, the Kraken have tied it. But this play starts
back with Matty Beneers. The patience able to shake off Raymond here all by himself. Pushes
it up to Everly. Monty’s joining the play. Here’s the shot. Just waits. The timing of
that shot from Montour is perfect. You have to let Everly and Sher go past you. You’re able
to use them as a screen. go far side on Gibson, but a heck of an individual effort there from
Matty to set the whole play up. Sets up his partner Adam Larson. They go quickly up the
ice. Montour’s sixth of the season. A steal by Winterton. Ty Kier a backhander off the side
of the goal. Maybe Gibson got a piece of it. Now Kane now Mahura up top. Shane Wright loses
control to Michael Rasmusen. And Detroit will survive all of that. Rasmusen nice self pass.
He’s in for a chance. Shut down by Dord. He’ll freeze. Matty Baneers. And here’s a great stop
here from Joey Dord as Ras Muen makes his way through. Nice. Gibson now to the outside to
the point. Held in by Ryan Lindren. Wide open Montour. Here it comes. Stopped by Gibson and
swept wide by Marchman on the captured again by Chandler Stevenson. 26 seconds left in the period.
Lindren up top. A screen shot forked wide again. Everly and it goes off Gibson from Marchman.
Montour Berkeley Katton has it again. Nice pass. Here’s Shane Wright now. Capo Kako drags it.
Shoots it. Shielded a bit by Gibson and Detroit’s on it. Raymond through the slot. Edmonson in
front. Stopped by Dord on a tip with Finny out in front. Edmonson up top. Set play to break it.
Cider with a shot swallowed up easily by Joey Dor along the boards to break it up top. Edmonson
with a shot short side held by Dord. He’s fishing for it. It’s loose and they did they score?
No indication. Detroit started to celebrate and it wouldn’t go. So everybody from the
Kraken side takes a deep breath as Tolvin clears it in. We can take a look. Here’s the first
opportunity. High save there by Joey. And watch as Cop pushes this puck behind Joey Dord that
clearly crosses the goal line here as we watch first opportunity underneath the push. But
how much of that is caught pushing Joey Dord? The play is under review to see if the puck
crossed the goal line. That’s the first order of business. And then if that is the case,
they can get to a challenge possibly if they need to. That’s in. You’re right, Len. After the
video review at 1450, the puck does completely cross the goal line. Therefore, we have a goal.
And referee was in great position to see that, too. So there’s no whistle. It’s continuation.
The puck did go in. Picked up by Riker Evans. He’s out. Evans now will aerial flip it deep. Off the
glass in play. 1324 left to go. Second period. Two to one Detroit. Bracken have lost three in a row.
Done. Larson with a shot. He scores. The big cat from well out. It travels a great distance and
the Kraken have tied it. Oh, great work on the court. Check by the Kraken, but watch the route.
It’s Winterton going to go right in front. The battle with Sherro. Here comes the shot from
Larson. Gibson fighting through a screen. You got Winterton and Sherrot. You see Gibson looking
to the left. The puck ends up going to his right. Perfectly placed shot here from Larson. Excellent
job down below the goal line by the Kraken forwards to get that puck, win their battle.
Dto pass and end up being Larson finding the back of the net. Tries a slot pass that doesn’t
work. Veneers good job mansly. What a save by Gibson. Lingren shot blocker down by Gibson.
Launch this class here. Pass here from Macan. Right on the tape to Everly, but it’s a right pad
save from Gibson. He’ll take it to the outside. A long shift here by Detroit. Copper out in
front to Brink. What a save. Dour. Dor says, “I’m going to want to up you here on this one.”
Watch this attempt as Dbrink goes to the backside. Gets the stretched out glove on that and able to
make a save. Perfect pass. And out of the pile up, Marchment off a body gets it back. A shoulder
down by Gibson. Mason Marchmond with a clean look. He’ll take it to the outside. Tolvin and one-time
Larson tipped in. Chandler Stevenson staked out. It’s a bomb from Adam Larson. And number nine has
given Seattle a 3-2 lead. The Kraken offensively have got it. Great tip right there off of Gibson’s
helmet as well. It’s a second grade A opportunity the Kraken had on that shift. You see the clear
deflection. Hits Gibson up high and still ends up going in. Larson does a great job sliding to
the middle. Deflection there as he’s getting tied up with Coffer in front. He’ll send it in off
the stick of Jordan Everly. Matty gets it back. Veneers drops it off. Skate to stick Marchman.
39 seconds left in the period. Marchment with a shot blocked loose out in front. Marchman
tried to will his way through the slot and it comes out to center. A jailbreak. Ben Reeite
with a shot. He scores. That’s a tough one. 27.4 seconds left in the second period. Detroit
has tied it. Getting himself to the inside of the ice. Here’s the quick play. Deep pinches
down. You don’t have a cover. Matty not able to get back. Twoon one. JVR is able to go
right over the pad underneath the blocker. He’s got goals in three straight games. And just
a perfectly placed shot and a back breaker there for the crowd. Right. Jailbreak. Shane right with
Coco. Right for the shot off the bar and it goes out of play. Some pressure going through. An
excellent chance here. Shane Wright gets the twoon-one opportunity. Here’s the shot right off
the bar. Out of play. Pass was not available. Oh man, that close. Ends up beating Gibson.
Patrick Kane loses control. McCann’s on it. He’ll set up Dunn. He’ll fake to the outside of Kappa.
Shot off the pad of Gibson looking for a rebound. He got it, but De Brink was right there. Here
they come. Brink for Kane with a shot. He scores. Patrick Kane is heard from with goal 497 with
229 left. Game does not need a bunch of time or space. See how quick that is. Adam Larson does a
great job closing out. Not able to get the block, but you see the stick on stick. A slight shift
for Kane when he releases that puck and elevates it up over the glove hand of Joey Dord. Edmonson
to the wall. Fumbled by Dunn. Two seconds left and that’s all. Detroit on a goal by Patrick Kane wins
it 4-3 and the Kraken have lost four straight.

  1. I was there. Climate Pledge is a great arena. Kraken fans by me were cool. No animosity at all. Way it should be. And was it ever great to see Kane end things. Go Red Wings! But Kraken fans are great.
