NHL Highlights | Jets vs. Oilers – December 6, 2025
Jets have gotten three points out of a possible four since they’re on the second of a backto back. Adam Henrik opposite Lowry in the faceoff circle and we’re underway. Jack Michaels Scott ringside handled by Zack Hyman who scored on a breakaway last night. Troubles down low to McDavid and Dryettle. Both four-point games on Thursday. McDavid trying to feather that one through and almost got it to Emerson. That was a minefield if he tried to get it in there. Yeah, a little patience too there by McDavid just to wait and he had a little time. Himman took the hit to make the play. McDavid the shot save. Rebound score. Ryan Nen Hopkins the finish. It starts with the willingness to take some punishment and then Nan Hopkins finishes the play with his seventh of the year. One- nothing Edmonton. And once he gets his puck, it’s in high gear. Quick little drop into the middle with speed, little stop. Once he stops there, it’s a separation. And we’ve talked about this, the hattick last game. It’s the shooting mentality of Conor McDavid. That shot results in a juicy rebound off of Comry’s right. Guess who’s there? Brian Nent Hopkins to get there first and jam it home for a one- nothing lead. Samber and here comes Kyle Con. Seven thirdgo campaigns to Valardi. Beautiful dish shot that handcuffed Skinner but he made the save. Rebound popped out to Samberg. His shot blocked by Ber a strike to Dres. It’s a breakaway Danner score. Two nothing Edmonton. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] A couple chances in the slop by the Jets. That one’s taken away on the ensuing play. Gone is Leon Dryidle on the stretch pass and him and Seavoy are right there. It’s Bousard that thread this up. Sorry, Mapani is there with him. Back to Dry Cidle in his office deep in that right circle. Slithers up top and then turned it over for Fetti with an easy steal and a flip toward the Edmonton line. Dry side of a puck carrier but Cole the shot save rebound popped home. Matt Seavoy, who had two goals on Thursday, scores his third in two games, and Edmonton is raced out to a three nothing lead. First period, this is all because of the transitional play. Once again, watch this. As soon as this puck turns over, Daddle quickly turns. He’s up the ice and then that from there on the entry into the zone, it’s a nice play by Pod Coulson. gives it to Ekholm who takes this sharp angle shot and drive to the net similar to Nan Hopkins getting the inside track. The smaller Seavoy gets inside on Lowry and he chops this one home on the backhand side. Three. There’s a timeout rightfully so by Scott O’Neal beside me here to Regula. But Kyle Connor doesn’t need much time. He’s got quick hands. One of the most prolific scorers since he was drafted in 2015. McDavid a shot to save. Conry rebound available and Darnell Nurse who had wandered down low unable to stuff it home. Nan Hopkins to him inside to McDavid. Was back door instead. It’s nursed down the slot. A save. Con rebound for a moment. Second in the league with eight power play goals. McDavid has five. Nice corral by Nan Hopkins. He’ll get it back a second time for Bousard. Give it up for McDavid. Hard to the net. Try sometime ripped and scored. Evan Bard extends Evansson’s lead to 4 nothing. This is moving. Good keep in by Nan Hopkins on this one right here. Could have easily got out of the zone with a good stick by Dlo to get a little piece of it. But once it sets up comes from high to low back out to dry side who you typically expect him the one time then a big malfunction at the junction in front of the net here you’re going to see him on the doorstep and as comry comes exploding out anticipating that one-time from Dryidle there’s nowhere for him to go but a wall I mean it’s a wide open net for Bard to blast this through Jack and Louie with the goal. Thank you, Scott. And once again, Eric Comrey’s night complete. Stopped four of 16 shots. Got in seven games for for Winnipeg. So almost that home game feels a little bit like an extension of the road trip. But it is nice to reset quickly at home. Emerson to Yanmar. But you’re right. When you arrive the day before, Larazar shoots and scores. Greeting Millich with Edmonton’s fifth goal of the night. Curtis Lazar’s second of the year. And the Oilers continue to pour it on. Good job to drive this puck into the zone by Emerson. He’s the one that carries it over the line. A little stomp up by Yanmark in the spin. And it’s the trailer Lazar that’s in the high slot as he kind of funnels into the middle. Right-handed shot. could have one time this but it’s a little behind him so he’s got to re fiercely fought between Frederick and Pearson [Music] and now Frederick the other way to the net shot stopped rebound available will make certain of a cross corner dump in Dlo finds the hulking 6’7 Stanley that play ruled on side as I follow backs his way in feedsley reshot score underneath the bar and the Jets are on the board at five to off the stick and a flash. Here’s the ex the pass up the ice precedes. He doesn’t have to come back. Yeah, this will come back. That’s why I said ruled on side. Absolutely. It looked like it was all in one motion, but tough one here. And this is kind of the night. We think this is going to come back, but this isn’t. I mean, this is topnotch here by Shley, who’s had a terrific season this year. Yeah, there’s the challenge. He just doesn’t have possession. Shaley absolutely a rip job upstairs. But again, our first take is that this is going to be offside cuz he’s sliding, sliding, preeds, doesn’t have possession, doesn’t have possession. That’s offside. That’s pretty clearcut. So just trying to time that perfectly crossing the line enters just a little bit too quickly. If that pass arrives earlier and earlier money, then you can back your way in all day. Rick Nash used to do it all the time. Here’s Cody Beach. After Edmonton’s coach’s challenge, it was determined the plate was offside. We have no assist. But there has been an improvement in Oiler goalending of late, perhaps halting for the time being, at least the social media movement to extradite both Skinner and Vickers. That goes back to 2017. Jets and the Oilers met in the plays in 2021. Here’s a score by Connor. Wrist shot and that stayed out. Conor ended that series by the way. Ehol stick exploded on him. Here’s Kyle Connor. Beautiful move around Booard. Dishes off tightly back door and that one will count. Eight. Valardi. Beautifully executed. Three-way passing play and Valardi finishes for his 13th to bring it back to 5-1. Over the glove, dings the bar there on the left hand side and then it’s Connor on the entry with a beautiful little move to the middle. Backhand pass to Shane. He one touches it to Valardi back door who taps it home. A lot of movement on this play into the zone here. Luke Deborah went to LA and came to Winnipegers. A back door feed and what a save by Steuart Skinner on Vladikov. Otherwise things get interesting here in a hurry. And inside another save that time on Chaley just took it from Peock. Kulak steps up, dishes up, gets it back and rips it off the shoulder of Milich. And then the rebound backhanded just wide by Zack. In the offensive zone created plays like that. That was a solid save on the one-time for Steuart Skinner. And Masterov trapped by Frederick and Lazar. It’s turned over centered and there’s the finish. Tamasic makes it 61 Edmonton [Music] for a goal. Well, he has a nose around the net. There’s no question about that. And that’s why the Oilers signed him and brought him in from Swedes where he was the best player on his team and in the league. And here he just gets to the spot. Good job and good work here by Frederick on the fore. Secondary pressure by Lazar. Turns it back and then a quick pass and a hard one by Frederick. Tomasa gets to the space on time and quick hands in tight. There’s a corner. My apologies. That’s all right. I had McDavid finding McDavid earlier. There you go. Kyle Connor and he was just belted by Leon Dresson. Hard hit in the corner. They’ve come out and and I know like the fourth line doesn’t play as much as other lines. They should have a little more energy in a backto-back situation which they do. They had two goals last night in the game against the Buffalo Sabres in a 4-1 win. And this is just again mucking and grinding bringing pucks to the net. Three big guys in the fourth Christmas. And I don’t think either will arrive in a festive mood. Here’s Cole Key a wrap around and he banked it in. Must have thought I hit on Regula. Lazar nurse and nerder jaw at one another. The seconds tick off as the players. [Music]
Both Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard tallied a goal and an assist, while Connor McDavid added two assists as the Edmonton Oilers routed the Winnipeg Jets 6-2.

What the heck is that editing for the 2nd WPG goal?
Bouchard acting like a bum on the ice during both Jets goals.
Ooooveckin lox
How did Bouchard finish the game at -1 on a night when the Oilers had so many goals??
sticks don't 'explode', they break. it's been 20 years of composite sticks, they have'nt been EXPLODING for a long long time. goofy saying.
Do any other oilers fans check the comments first to see if its actually "highlights" they'll be watching?
Bouchard is -10 so far this season and he plays all the power plays. Good too win, Oilers defense needs work.
WINNIPEG FRAUDS
오일러스 알다가도모르겠어 ..😅
“Social media movement to extradite both skinner and Picard”
I thought it was skinner and Bouchard social media wants toasted
What a fun game to be in the building for 😍
Howdy, is…the weakest link 😮
stop editing using AI
Are we back boys?
Good strong win 👍
Why is Bouchard on the ice?
Ok how low and cheap can you be to challenge a goal when you’re up by 5. At that point if I were Winnipeg’s coach I’d have my team go head hunting
Leon Draisaitl just crushed Kyle Conner in the corner, damn,
7:24 Bouch was so lost in this play you could see him up in the stands buying a hot dog
Oilers are heating up now that they've been back home for a bit
Hellebuck covers up the Jets warts.
Bouchard is soooooo BAD
wtf was that editing for the second wpg goal? Get a grip kiddo
I’m so sick of Bouchard doing NOTHING . Sitting on his ass. Idk why we signed him. I’ve been an oiler fan my whole life and his effort is worse than half my beer league team. So disgusting. Like wake up man : no we can’t blame one player, but we can look at his game and just be disappointed ..
If Oilers can make a couple big pick ups on defence during trade time ,we got this
Just hard to believe this is the same team I watched a few weeks ago. It's nice to not have my jaw on the floor trying to understand some stupid maneuver by Bouchard or Nurse 🙂 Sometimes they seem to be looking for shamrocks. Hyman being back is everything. His effort is 100 percent every game and the points are coming soon. I would feel better with a few more grinders like Foegele and Ceci were. At times it seems Podkolzin and Roslovic might step up.
Oilers stink. Connor has been limp like a wet noodle, Skinner cries in the locker room, bouchard might be the worst signing ever. Fire the general manager already, Stan Bowman. Someone get these guys some testosterone.
Здмонтон в этом сезоне возьмёт кубок🏆
Buddi.. McDavid though!!!
Anyone from Winnipeg want to tell me what Pionk is doing at 1:19 and what Pionk and Samburg are doing at 2:29??
Will There be ANY repercussions?? I’ll bet a Giga trillon, both will be right back in the 3 and 4 holes come next game. Where’s my cheque?
Thank Goodness we didn’t play Miller who is a world class skater, and Salamonsson, who can skate, shoot, pass, move the puck! If Winnipeg was smart enough to TANK, I’d say nice tank job. But we don’t get that right either. Ohh well. Maybe Gavin McKenna won’t be a generational talent! 🤡🌎
RIGHT THAT'S IT, I'VE HAD ENOUGH. YET AGAIN AN IDIOT HAS COMPILED THIS VIDEO, SHOWING THE REPLAY OF A GOAL BEFORE THE ACTUAL GOAL. THIS IDIOT SHOULD NOT BE DOING THIS JOB.
Bold move for the flames fan sitting behind the oilers bench.
Oilers 🙌
That 4th Edmonton Goal, WOW! Are we back, boys?!
Jets looked like they never unboarded their plane.
Are all the Canadian teams as bad as the Jets?
Stellar editing again showing the replay of Jets second goal before they show the actual highlight 🤣
Draisaitl is such a confusing player. His skating looks almost comical it's so stiff and his stick handling seems below average. Yet the guy is deadly af.
Oilers have stepped up these last 2 games but that’s all it is so far, 2 good wins back to back…. And in my experience when Oilers need a win it’s often the Jests (not a typo) that are on the receiving end.
Edmonton up 5-0 and they still challenge it, pathetic.
Good job.👍
