But, let’s get to this one. Between the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coming into this one with a record of 7-5 on the year and 5-7 against the number this season. coming off a 20 to7 win over Arizona last time out to snap a three-game losing streak. While New Orleans comes into this one 2-10 this season, 4-8 against the number after a 217 loss to Miami in their last game. And you know, it just it leaves a lot to be desired for New Orleans. This is just a team that I think is having to tear it down before they bu build it back up again. And you know, for a team that has been competitive in the NFC South over the, you know, recent history of this team, it’s a little bit disheartening to see just because, you know, this was a team that in a in an NFC South that over the last couple of years has not been anything special. I mean, realistically, it hasn’t. Um, where, you know, eight and nine or nine and eight can win you this division. To see the Saints, you know, not be able to to get it done, it it’s frustrating. And now you go from a 5-12 record last year to 2-10 this season. It’s just it’s a mess for New Orleans. And even if they’re if they’re going to build tear it down and build it back up, I’m sorry, Tyler Shug, Spencer Rattler, or Jake Kainer are not the answer. There are going to be decent options in this quarterback class in the upcoming draft. Maybe not the best options we’ve ever seen. Maybe guys like Tai Simpson, Dante Moore, Fernando Mendoza, and maybe you just feel like you’re spinning your wheels at that point. Maybe you try to go out and get a, you know, a mid-level quarterback, kind of like what m uh what Seattle did with Sam Darnold. Maybe you try to go out and get someone like that. I mean, Sam Darnold’s having a hell of a season in Seattle. And maybe that’s the way you kind of try to turn this franchise around. But whatever New Orleans is doing right now, it’s not working. And I don’t expect it to work here. This is a team that scored 17 points or less in six straight games. New Orleans was held to just three points in the first meeting against Tampa Bay earlier this season in New Orleans. Now the state switches to Tampa Bay where Tampa Bay has been much better. So I think that that New Orleans is going to struggle once again, especially just with this quarterback play. I don’t expect much even against the 29th ranked pass defense of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But on the other side, this Tampa Bay offense is still banged up. You know, you’re missing Mike Evans for this game. You know, you’re missing, you know, other key pieces for the Bucks. You know, there’s just there’s a lot of injuries within this Tampa Bay lineup. Chris Chris Godwin was limited in practice. Baker Mayfield was it looks like he’s going to still be good to go, but he’s still dealing with a shoulder ailment. To me, this just sets up as another lowscoring game. You know, historically unders have been profitable in the NFC South, and I know Tampa Bay has a much more explosive offense here. So, I’m not blaming anyone for wanting to lay the eight and a half here with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because right now it just feels like the New Orleans Saints are just a lost cause. But, like I said, still have my concerns with Tampa Bay that maybe, you know, New Orleans finds a way to sneak in and, you know, Tampa wins this one 16-10 or something like that. If I had to pick a side, I’m leaning towards Tampa Bay. My better play is the under 41 and a half in this game. I just think that’s going to be a lowscoring game which whichever way it ends up going. and hell, maybe it’s another 23-3 kind of game like we saw in the first meeting.
