Cowboys fan IMPRESSED by Detroit Lions fans (MY EARS ARE STILL RINGING!)
Ladies and gentlemen, this season my wife and daughter and I have been driving this homemade motor home to every single Dallas Cowboys game home and away. Yes, you heard that right. We are now living in a shuttle bus in Detroit in the freezing cold in order to watch a team that needs to win every single game from here on out to make the playoffs. And so, Cowboys by 40. Let’s go to Fortfield. Yeah. Come on in. Free right to the game. You won’t believe it. I can’t believe I saw this. Oh, fans. Yeah. Oh, Dallas fans. If you can believe it, the Detroit Lions provide a absolutely free, and I really mean $0, free shuttle that takes uh people walking along the ice cold streets into Fort Field. And we have never seen that before in any stadium we’ve been to. Now, the good vibes are continuing rolling here as we arrive in Fort Field because scanning the field, this looks like a nice stadium. I feel like the lower bowl is on a very not steep angle on a very slight incline and it’s only two levels. So, it feels very intimate and really it’s almost like a level and a half because over here we’ve got four stacked up rows of private boxes which is pretty cool. And then these two big columns on the end and even a Christmas tree over here. I got to say it’s a good first impressions of Ford Field. I think we got a good vantage point to get some highlights for you guys. And today we’ve got one extra Cowboys fan with us. My brother made the 3-hour drive from Toronto to Detroit to help cheer on our Cowboys. So, let’s go. Pregame’s almost over. We’re going to be uh kickoff soon. Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s go. West go. Wow, that guy was great on the microphone. Number 16, J. And so Lions start with the ball here. Let’s see what happens on kickoff. We got a great view and he took it out to a 35. So good return. And so first play of the game, we’ve got 900 lb of defensive tackle on the field. 97 9592. The Lions get a nice and so that brings up third down here. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Jamir Gib just juke 59 out of his pants. Oh my gosh. He jked him right out of his shoes. And so we elected to let the Lions start the game with the ball. We chose to defer. And the Lions are coming right down the field. There’s Jir Gibbs. Nice tackle, boys. Hey, that’s third and long. Third and long. First drive of the game. And my palms are sweaty. Oh boy. Oh boy. Oh boy. Give me that. Give me that. Let’s go. No flag. That’s a field goal. And so I don’t know how official any of these rankings are, but at AT&T where Dallas plays, nice play, George Pickkins. At AT&T, where Dallas plays, the decibel meter says about 105 at its highest. On the first play of Dallas possession, the Detroit fans already had at 112. So I don’t know how accurate that reading is, but based on my ears, this is one of the loudest stadiums we’ve been to. Uh, I’m really impressed with Ford Field and the fans and everything. I can’t say enough. It’s uh, wow. It’s loud in here. It’s going to be loud all game, I think. Give me that. Yeah. And so, as you can tell from the crowd, third and 10. Looks like a blitz right up the middle. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Oh my gosh. I can’t say enough how great these fans are. Detroit Lions fans are awesome. I’m going to get ear damage honestly because there’s a dome because there’s a roof. I think I’m going to get permanent ear damage because they’re going to be going wild. That was almost a fumble by Dak with the defensive end taking a ball out of his hands and it was almost interception. And now we’re going for a long field goal and it’s so loud in here. It’s so loud in here. Brandon Aubrey doesn’t miss. Baby, we made it. 3-3. There we go. And so great tackle there by our kicker Brandon Aubrey. He puts three points through and then he makes a tackle on the ensuing kickoff. Give me that. Oh, I tell you what, golf has had no time. We are getting pressure on golf consistently and that’s going to be a punt. Three and out. Good job, Cowboys. And so after the punt, we’re backed up on our four yd line. The entire lower bowl is standing up. These fans are going wild. These fans are going wild. Look at Dak and the offensive line. They can’t hear each other. Dak and the offensive line can’t get on the same page cuz it’s so loud in here. going to move it back. It’s in the crazy I got to be honest, I don’t know the rule, but they overturned it and said no safety. To me, that looked a lot like a safety. It almost sounded like it was a different rule for when the quarterback gets tackled in the end zone. I don’t know. So, it’s not a safety. It’s 3-3. And we’re going to punt from our back of our end zone. I think we got lucky there. Huge kick. Huge kick. That’s a block in the back, man. That’s a block in the back. No, tackles from behind. They might have just gave the Lions a free penalty cuz they gave us a mistake. That might have been a makeup call because that was a block in the back. Oh no. So I was hoping Almond Raw was not playing this game and that’s why. Damn. Oh my god, the feet hit. Wow, that fake got me so good. It’s not a touchdown. I think it was at the oneyd line. That That play got me so good. Wow. So, it’s second and goal from the one. Great fake by the Lions. I was totally fooled. All right, boys. We got to start protecting Dak because Dak’s been under pressure and this offense ain’t going to go if Dak’s under pressure. Hey, that’s a Cowboys first down. We finally silenced the crowd. Oh my gosh, my ears are ringing. Lions, let’s go. And so, end of the first quarter, we got Eminem on the big screen hyping everybody up. The decibel meter is back to 115. And now our Cowboys are driving towards us. Here we go. Bring a tackle. Man, the Lions really rally to the ball and they really tackle well. Yes. Let’s go. Let’s go. You needed that. And a crowd quiets down again. It’s a first down to CD. Now, I tell you what, man. This has got to be one of the reasons why you want to have a good running game, especially in the playoffs. Whether it’s cold weather or whether it’s fans like this, it is so much easier to run the ball than try to get everyone on the same page. Here’s a little pitch play. Looks good. Looks good. That’s a first down. Nice job, Cowboys. Nice. Nice catch. Brevin Span Ford. Man, I’m a big fan of BSM. Got him. Oh man, that was close. I like that play design. We moved CD across and we went on the back door to Flenoy. Good try. Good try. Couldn’t connect. I mean, this is unbelievable. These people are going wild. I mean, the Lions are a good team, of course, but this is going to be a really hard game because of the fans. This is an incredible home field advantage. You can watch our offensive line. They can’t hear anything. This is an incredible homefield advantage. The best we’ve seen so far. Wow. Number zero. Tackling number zero. And so that brings up third down. Come on, boys. We need to stop here. We need a stop. Wow. They’re saying no flags. Fourth down. It did look like we jumped off. Oh, definitely off sides. The the replay wasn’t at a good angle, but it looks like I mean, it looked like it looked like two penalties. I think we got lucky there twice in one place. And so Cowboys got the ball after the ref sort of gave it to us. He’s open. He’s open. Give me that. Give me that. Nice play. Nice play. And just like that, we’re at midfield. Past midfield. Nice play. And so now it’s third and long after a huge loss on a backwards pack from Dak Prescott. Need I need a bunch of yards here, boys. Oh no, we lost the ball. We lost the ball. Play action. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Need pressure, boys. A dang blitz off the edge. Oh, it’s a run. Oh, it’s a huge run. And so with 4 minutes left in the first half, we are officially in musts score territory. Even a field goal will do because we get the ball after halftime. So we can get the highly coveted consecutive possessions, but we’ve got to go down the field and get some points because we’re down 11. Here we go. Needed that. Needed that. I’m looking at George Pickkins on his play. Left side of your screen. George Pickkins. There he is. There he is. Oh, flex. Flex. Flex. Flex. He was grabbing his other arm. He tried to make a one-handed catch cuz the other arm was being held back. Oh man, they’re they’re talking about it. They’re not sure. Passing interference defense. That’s a that’s a 50 yd penalty by a foul by both teams. Jake Ferguson again. Oh, Jake Ferguson again. And so we left a little bit too much time on the clock. It’s about 55 seconds here. We got to make this to make it a one score. Oh my gosh. Aubrey is good. Is good. And now 50 seconds. We’ll see if Detroit can score. Hopefully not because we get the ball after half. No. No. He got it back. And again, number zero tackling number zero. The Lions are driving. And they got 10 seconds and a timeout. So the middle of field is in play. Oh my gosh. We got lucky there. 34 fell down. Pass intended for complete. I know it’s going to be a field goal to end the half. Woo. We got lucky there. And so halftime review. First of all, the Temptations just did the halftime. So it’s pretty great. And they were thinking talking about my girl. Not exactly a football song, but a great performance nonetheless. Now, this season, my wife and I have been to many different stadiums, and the loudest stadium we’ve heard is the Denver Broncos at Mile High. But I got to be honest, here is much louder. Now, I’m not sure it’s a fair fight because the Denver Broncos stadium is open air, whereas here we have the roof, but it’s incredibly loud over here. I think the roof acts as like a almost like an echo effect where it’s just everyone’s screaming and your ears are ringing. And honestly, in all of my pregame analysis, thinking about how the Dallas Cowboys could overcome the Detroit Lions, I didn’t realize we got to overcome the Detroit Lions and we got to overcome the Detroit Lions fans because it’s such an advantage for our offense. We can’t hear anything. It’s a big advantage for Detroit Lions. So, I’ll give a huge shout out to the fans because what they’re doing is really helping their team win. And so, we’re down 11, but we got the ball, meaning it’s not over. But we need to silence the crowd and go score now. So, let’s go with this. I tell you what, this might be our advantage. A lot of people are not in their seats. They’re out there buying a beer or going to the bathroom, so it’s not as loud right now. This might be the chance to do some audles and pass the ball downfield. Dak. Pass intercepted by take over. Come on Dline. We need pressure. We need a sack fumble right now. All right. So, huge play to CD there. I sort of missed it because people are still coming back from uh halftime and we are driving. So, we’re doing something. Come on, Dak Prescott. Show me something, buddy. So, now what do you do? Fourth and five. The field goal makes it a two-score game. But something tells me they’re going to go for it. And they are. Oh boy. That’s a first down. Fumble forward. Can’t fumble forward. It’s a first down. Hey. Hey, we scored. Game is not over yet, although we’re still down. We are down 11. It’s not insurmountable, but we got to start making stops here. Tell you what, it’s so funny how quiet it is when the Lions are on offense. It’s like a library in here. We need pressure on third down, boys. Oh, we got to make a tackle over there. Darn it. That was our chance to force a three and out, man. Siobhan Revel is not having a great game. 34 in coverage is giving up a lot of plays. And now the Lions are in field goal range. Yes. Yes. We needed that. That is a fourth down on a draw. We needed that. It was a tight window for sure, but we needed that. And so it’s not every time I film a field goal, but in this instance I’m going to because this missed kick is going to rejuvenate the Cowboys and bring us back. Watch him miss. Blocked. Way to go, Cowboys. And now we’re going to go score and score and score again. Malik Davis in the back field here. Got time. Got time. Got to find someone. There he is. A boy, Fenoi. Boy, I tell you what, the Lions are good tackling team, man. We got Licky in the back field. Probably a extra lineman pass blocker. No flags. No flags. Ah, there’s the flag. There’s the flag. Two flags are down. Usually when you see a defender lying flat, it’s either a flag or a great play for the offense. Passing affairs offense number three. George Pickkins with his second penalty of the game. Show me something on third and 19. No play. Hey, we’re only down 11, so the field goal does help. Come on, boys. Last time I checked there with my Good job, Malik Hooker. Montgomery. That’s a tough play to make on Montgomery. Come right the middle. And so end of the third quarter means the field flips again. A with a blocker out front of him. A boy. No way. Oh my gosh. That That looked like he dragged his toes, but the ref right away said no. Holding on the offense penalty. First down. We needed that. We needed that. I thought it was a touchdown for the Lions. said they’re going backwards 10 yards. That was awesome. And so it’s third and 13. It’s as quiet as a library in here. The Lions are just on the edge of field goal range. Need a tackle. Need a tackle. Okay, that’s fourth down. But that’s some critical yards to improve their field goal chance here. And so I’m going to guess that CD Lamb is hurt cuz I haven’t seen him on the field in a while now. I was hoping he’s coming back, but it’s getting later and later in the fourth. Going deep to George. No, it isn’t. Not a boy, Dak. That a boy. That’s a good play. Watch this. This game is not over. This game is not over. There are no flags. There are no flags. Woohoo. Now, do we go for two to make us down a field goal? I think we should. And so, as you can guess, as you can expect, the loudest we’ve heard this place is on the two-point conversion to put the game within three. Come on, Dak. Got it. Let’s go. Yes. Who’s returned? There’s like a tight end. Is that tight end returning the ball? Oh my gosh. Wow. Big 85 all the way to midfield. Look at that. Was a tight end. Wow. He’s probably six foot. Uh maybe not six foot. Maybe 10. Come on, Cowboys. We need a turnover. The Lions offense has turned the ball over zero times and we’ve turned over twice. We got to get a ton of last. This is a huge play, guys. Third and six. We need it here. We need it. Oh no. Oh. Ah. The Lions offense has so many crossing routes and it’s a short throw to a long run. Lot of yards after catch. Hold on. We got to play. No, they picked it up. They’re talking about it. The refs are talking about something. Oh, it’s on us. The passer. Yeah, he hit him in a match. Hit him in a face mask. So, it’s a big play with more yards on the end of it. Oh, we have to hold him to a field goal here. We cannot go down 10 this late in the game. It’s got to be a field goal. Look at that. The ball’s on the 11 yd line. They got a fullback in the game. They’re going to start running it right at us. Little toss, man. Jir Gibbs is shifty, man. Yeah. Come on, boys. Need a fumble. Somebody punch that ball. So, Cowboys take over down 10 with about 7 minutes left. And we got sack, man. We could use CD right now. Nice play, boys. Fenoi. Woo! That sized the crowd. We needed that one. Second and long, too. Big pitch. Got to move it, Dak. Yes. Yes. Yes. Ah, I was so hoping he could keep looking downfield there. Dang, I thought someone was going to break open. So, it’s third and eight. We got George on the left of the screen. We got Mingo on the right. Mingo’s open. Nope. Even better. Fenoi again. Man, Fenoi is developing into a baller, man. He’s a baller. Come on. Come on. Come on, boys. We want a touchdown here. And he got out of bounds going forwards. Good play. Good play. So, obviously we need a touchdown and a field goal to tie, but I want a touchdown on this drive. forced out of by I think this is the loudest we’ve heard this place. Saw a false start. They didn’t seem to call it. Oh no. Oh no. Might be a might be a late flag on the defense. I saw a false start in the offense. We might get offsetting flags here, but the false start should end the play. Here goes the tight end again. Another big return for the tight end. Wow. So, in a possession where we absolutely cannot give up any points, the Lions take over at midfield. Second and eight. Play action. Oh no, he’s in the end zone. Gosh. Ah. To be fair, he’s not in the end zone, but But that pretty much ends the game. It’s pretty much over unless some sort of catastrophic mistake from the Lions like down ins. Touchdown Detroit. So, our season is not technically over. Our playoff chances are not zero. We’re not mathematically eliminated. But it was a tough loss. Uh, our offense didn’t look too bad. We turned the ball over twice, but our defense didn’t do much of anything. The Lions offense looked great. They scored a whole bunch of points and they didn’t turn the ball over once. I mean, it’s about as much as you can ask for an offense. So, I think the Lions offense won them the game. I mean, they played great. And I will just say one more time, Lions fans are amazing. That’s the best home field advantage we’ve seen. So loud in there the whole game long. I think I probably got ear damage. Dallas Cowboys fan suffers ear damage in devastating loss. Title on the video. Anyway, we got to go back because it’s freezing cold outside right now and we got to get this one to bed and we got to lick our wounds as we drive back to Dallas because next up we got the Vikings. And if this was a mustwin, the Vikings is like a must must must win. So anyway, big shout out to Lions fans. They’re great.
We drove our RV from Dallas to Detroit, following our favorite team, as we have been all year.
In a playoff-esque matchup here in week 14 on Thursday Night Football, both teams needed a win to greatly increase their playoff chances. We arrived at Ford Field with huge anticipation!
QB Dak Prescott played well, with 1 interception off the hands of WR George Pickens. WR CeeDee Lamb was injured in the game and that appeared costly– similar to TE Jake Ferguson’s fumble.
RB Jahmyr Gibbs dominated the Dallas Cowboys defense. Sure, QB Jared Goff played well, but the RB1 was the real story… continuously gashing the Cowboys D on both running and passins plays.
One big surprise was the Detroit Lions fans. They were the loudest fans we’ve seen so far this season, from start to finish. The contrast of volume when the Detorit Lions offense is on the field, vs the Dallas Cowboys offense was unbelievable. You could see Dak struggling to communicate with the offensive line standing right in front of him, nevermind the receivers out wide. You’d have to think the Detroit Lions fans played a part in this victory. Seriosuly impressive.
In the end, the Dallas Cowboys playoff hopes are not done. We still have a chance, but the loss to the Lions is a huge blow. We probably need to win out- starting with Week 15, at AT&T Stadium vs the Minnesota Vikings.

Hardcore Lions fan since the 70s here. I loved your video, sir. I'm glad that you enjoyed Detroit and Ford Field. It IS loud isn't it? You should be there during a playoff game… absolutely INSANE! Your daughter is just absolutely adorable at the end of the video where you're holding her. Safe travels to you and your family. Come back to the D soon!
The tight end is tom Kennedy and he’s a receiver on the practice squad 😂
10:00 holding a lot of bad officiating for both teams but especially for us. However, their offense just wanted it more than us. I have to admit they came to play. We lost by 2 turnovers. Can you show the play GP fell on his shoulder in the first quarter. I wanted to see if he got concussed. He honestly looked like he got messed up on that play.
Nice editing skills man! and sorry but Go Lions!
Travel safe see you in Dallas. This season has been great. High or Low your family made it fun. Reminds us why we love the game.
Great camera work… maybe the best I've ever seen on a YT channel (especially from the upper deck)… AND YOU DAUGHTER IS ADORABLE!
went to the Lions game in 2019 when the Cowboys were in town, & it was 90% Cowboy fans lmao. Im glad to see the turnaround, but man the bandwagons really jumped on in troves
Been to quite a few games. FF is such a good viewing/fan experience. The fans were polite yelling at the refs. That’s not what they’ve yelled when I’ve been there, LOL.
Great video! As a Detroit fan we take our job as the “extra man” very serious! 💪🏼❤️🤣 Respect and safe travels 🫡🤙🏼
I’m happy to hear that you had a good experience with Lions’ fans and there are a ton of them in this comment section too. I hope you have fun on the rest of your road trip. It seems like such an awesome thing to do.
I went to the Lions/Cowboys game at the Silverdome in 1992 I think. It was so loud my ears were ringing.
3 returns for 120 yards
I bet you were hoping for the lions to win on thanksgiving, knowing they don't lose 2 in a row.
From Canada, me and my friend, over the years we've been to every single NFL stadiums. As for sound, in the current stadiums, I agree that Detroit is the loudest covered venue. Saw them against their arch rival Bears. For outside stadiums, I say it's Seattle. But the loudest we've been to, by far, was the old RCA Dome in Indianapolis. We could not hear ourselves talk to each other sitting side by side.
I just want to add to your description of Ford field, that the playing field is 45 feet below street level.
Happy to see our fans gave you a good experience, man. Thanks for the perspective and the vid.
Half of that stadium is the original Hudson warehouse, I worked on the site and baseball field across the street.
Wide receiver Tom Kennedy returning punts by the way. The lions legend
Great video and really appreciate your good sportsmanship! God Bless you and your family! Good luck the rest of the season, would love to see you guys win out and knock Philly out of the playoffs.
I’m a Lions fan and seeing another fans experience at my teams stadium and city was enjoyable to watch. I am glad you still had a fun time and experience at Ford Field even though the Cowboys lost. We definitely bring the noise when the opposing teams on defense, every time I leave a game I can’t hear for a while lol but I love it and I love our Fans and the passion we bring every home game.
I really wish y’all won some more games earlier so you could have taken out the Eagles at the end of the year for the Divison. I hate the Eagles.
Good Luck the rest of the year! Win out and hopefully the Eagles flop again.
As a Lions season ticket holder, this was a fun watch. Thanks for coming to Detroit and for the content 🙂
Dawg this is amazing be safe on the road… I'm from Detroit n this is what the experience is like for real… Hope you got to see the street performances too
Do you prefer sitting behind one of the endzones where one side of the field is far away but you also can see the wr routes and cb coverage better? Or do you prefer sitting on the side of the filed. Also if you could sit anywhere in a stadium where would it be?
Thank you for sharing your experience. Safe travels to you and your family! Good luck to your Cowboys the rest of the way. I hope the eagles implode the rest of the season. 😂
Sincerely,
A Lions Fan
Oh yeah, #85 is Tom Kennedy. He is a practice squad WR that's been with us for 5ish years. Per Dan Campbell, "All that dude does is make plays." You know what? Dan ain't wrong 😂😂😂😂
I've seen the meter hit 118+ during the playoffs. It's crazy.
Also, it was cool to see you use your own footage because the NFL footage didn't show the safety that I missed because I was driving home.
Glad you and your family had a great time here in Detroit safe travels
Awesome content btw I appreciate your feedback and honesty
Mad respect. Visitors are always welcome in the Den, but it can't be easy hearing the roar. I appreciate your outlook though, just watch the game as you see it, cheer when appropriate. I think this video will age well.
Lol your daughters little stuck up knows is cute godbless go lions!
This is my first time stumbling upon your channel and I loved this video man! But 16:40 made me audibly laugh 😂 One Pride baby!!!!
You almost sound Canadian, Lol. Cool channel and insight though.
As a Detroit fan, I wanna sub simply because of how nice you are, bro
Great video. Glad you loved Ford Field. You are what being a fan is all about May you and your family have safe travels for the rest of your time on the road. Once again. Great video. I hit subscribe.
