The Brewers clinched their 7th playoff berth in 8 years#milwaukeebrewers#MLB #baseball

For 2018, the Milwaukee Brewers only made the playoffs four times in franchise history. Once in 81, 82, 2008, and 2011. The furthest they made it was to the World Series in 82, but they haven’t been back since. A few years after their historic 2014 collapse, they started to turn the corner. In 2017, the Brewers had a top five farm system and barely missed the playoffs at 86 wins. But in the offseason, the Brewers would finally be aggressive. They traded their top prospect Lewis Brinson for Christian Yelich. This is actually one of the first screenshots I have on this phone. This was my next screenshot. The Brewers never assigned free agents for this much, but they brought back Kane for 5 years and $80 million. This was my next screenshot. Could you tell I was excited? 2018 was so good. Yelich won MVP. They won game 163 in Wrigley to win the Central and they were one win away from the World Series. Now, since then, they haven’t made too many eye-opening moves, but it’s been just enough. No matter who they put on the field after whoever just left, they always compete. And for the seventh time in 8 years, the Brewers are going to the playoffs.
