Championship Weekend: Draft prospects for the NY Giants

  1. Glad Jacob Rodriguez is starting to rise up boards, he’s a beast at LB. If he’s available with our 2nd round pick it’d be a steal

Aside from that, in the first round it’s Tate, Downs, or bust for me

  2. >One player I’d like to note is Indiana kicker Nicolas Radicic. He isn’t a big guy at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, but he is simply automatic. He hasn’t attempted a kick longer than 46 yards, but the former 5-star recruit has only missed one kick in his college career. Radicic is currently 24 of 25 in field goals and 70 for 70 on extra point attempts. Drafting a kicker is always a risk, as good kickers are incredibly hard to find, but Radicic should definitely get consideration from the Giants.

With everything else going on this offseason, can’t forget about fixing the kicker spot. Gano is obviously history, Koo is not the answer, and the rookie Sauls on the PS has already been cut by the Steelers and Falcons. He may not have the power yet (Sauls is the opposite with the power, but not as accurate), but his only miss so far in college came from slipping on the snow. I think he’d be a good use of one of those three 6th round picks they have.

  3. Hard to get excited about the draft when there’s probably a 90% chance they fuck it up and pick another first round bust.
