Fingers crossed, but things are lining up nicely for a bidding war

  1. At this point, Jets seem like the best suitor. They lost a few games earlier this year on close calls and their recent form suggests a team that may be a QB away. They have 2 first round picks (Jets+Colts) and 2 second round picks (Jets+Cowboys), plus 3 first picks in 2027 (Jets+Colts+Cowboys). The real problem is if the Browns and Raiders feel the same. Browns have 2 first round picks (Browns+Jaguars) but also have Watson coming back and 2 drafted rookies on the roster already. IMO they would be stupid to draft another QB when they have a WR that might even be worse than the Titans. The Raiders don’t have any additional picks beyond their own and they’re just as likely to lose out as the Titans (besides a game vs the Giants). Would they even bother trading up a single spot to draft QB? And what would a trade like that even include, 1 second round pick? Lastly, we have to trust that the Titans do their jobs and lose the rest of the season or none of this even matters.
