Jets vs. Oilers | NHL Highlights | December 06, 2025
Jets have got three points out of a possible
four since they’re on the second of a backto back. Adam Henrik opposite Lowry in the faceoff
circle and we’re underway. Jack Michaels spoon Scott ringside. Sometimes you see a team on the
second of a backto back have their legs early. Taves inside a quick shot on starter Steuart
Skinner. He makes the save on Perfetti and kind of a last second decision. Try to thread
it through to Nan Hopkins. Did not pan out. McDavid a hat-tick on Thursday and a short side
stuff eventually taken by Dlo to Gabe Valari. This village just one start to this point for Winnipeg.
Elab expected to resume skating here in the next 24 to 48 hours. A shot by Key and a save made
handled by Zack Hyman who scored on a breakaway last night. Troubles down low to McDavid. He and
Dry settle both four-point games on Thursday. McDavid trying to feather that one through. Almost
got it to Emerson. That was a minefield. He tried to get it in there. Yeah, a little patience
too there by McDavid just to wait. He had a little time took the hit to make the play. McD
say rebound score. Ryan Nan Hopkins gets the finish. It starts with the willingness to take
some punishment and then Nan Hopkins finishes the play with his seventh of the year. One-
nothing Edmonton. And once he gets his puck, it’s in high gear. Quick little drop into the
middle with speed, little stop. Once he stops there, it’s a separation. And we’ve talked about
this, the hattick last game. It’s the shooting mentality of Conor McDavid. That shot results
in a juicy rebound off of Comry’s right pack. Guess who’s there? Bryant Nan Hopkins to get
there first and jam it home for a one- nothing lead. Samber. And here comes Kyle Connor. Six
third goal campaigns to Valardi. Beautiful dish shot that handcuffed Skinner but he made
the save. Rebound popped out to Samber. His shot blocked by Ber. A straight to Dres. It’s a
breakaway dresser score. Two nothing Edmonson. A couple chances in the slot by the Jets. That
one’s taken away on the ensuing play gone as Leon Dryidle on the stretch pass and him and Seavoy
are right there. It’s Bushard that threat this up. Sorry, Mapani is there with him. Back to Dry
Cidle in his office. Deep in that right circle just slithers up top and then turn it over with
an easy steal and a flip toward the Edmonton line. Dry side of a puck carrier but goes to the
ankle. save rebound popped home. Matt Seavoy who had two goals on Thursday scores his third
in two games and Edmonton is raced out to a three nothing lead first period. This is all
because of the transitional play once again. Watch this. As soon as this puck turns over, Dry
Cidle quickly turns. He’s up the ice. And then that from there on the entry into the zone, it’s
a nice play by Tom Coulson. gives it to Ekholm who takes this sharp angle shot and drive to the net.
Similar to Nan Hopkins getting the inside track, the smaller Seavoy gets inside on Lowry and
he chops this one home on the backhand side. Three. There’s a timeout rightfully so by Scott
O’Neal beside me here. In his 18th year, McDavid, a nice play off the half wall right around Stanley
leads a threeon two. New Jenopkins drops it back. McDavid forced out wide by Kern for nurse. Got on
net. Comry steered that into the corner. Here’s Regula. Managed to hold it in with help from
Nurse. Soft toss down low. Tamasic back in the lineup. Absorbs a hit from Shed. Trent Frederick
gets it back from Nurse. Shot on net save. Conry. Rebound available. goals versus Minnesota, which
ultimately cost us a win in a one- nothing game. So, he fired off seven shots against Seattle, was
rewarded with a hat-tick, and so far he and his teammates have fired nine at Connor tonight.
Three of which have gone in. There’s to regul since he was drafted in 2015. Big David has
shot the save. recovery rebound available and Darnell Nurse who had wandered down low
unable to stuff it home. Nan Hopkins to him inside to McDavid was back to it’s nursed
down the slot a save Conbound for a moment second in the league with eight power play
goals. McDavid has five. Nice corral by Nan Hopkins. He’ll get it back a second time for
Bushard. Give it up for McDavid. Hard to the net. Try some left. ripped and scored. Evan
Bushar extends Ebson’s lead to four nothing. Good keep in by Nan Hopkins on this one right
here. Could have easily got out of the zone with a good stick by Dlo to get a little piece of it.
But once it sets up comes from high to low back, you typically expect him to run one time. Then a
big malfunction at the junction in front of the net here. You’re going to see him on the doorstep
and as comry comes exploding out anticipating that one-time from Dry Cidle, there’s nowhere for
him to go but a wall. I mean, it’s a wide open net for Brousard coming off a ninegoal onslaught
over Seattle on Thursday. The momentum has been maintained to say the least. Trist the shot. Comry
had trouble controlling the rebound. Now he’ll put it to rest. Top line, top unit, sorry, on the
ice now for Winnipeg. They were out there when the penalty was drawn. So second unit starts.
Quick shot the same on the corner by Skinner in seven games for for Winnipeg. So almost that
home game feels a little bit like an extension of the road trip, but it is nice to reset quickly
at home. Emerson to Yanmar. But you’re right, when you arrive the day before shoots and
scores. greeting Militch with Edmonton’s fifth goal of the night. Curtis Lazar’s second
of the year and the Oilers continue to pour it on. Good job to drive this puck into the zone
by Emerson. He’s the one that carries it over the line. Little stop up by Yanmark in the
spin and it’s the trailer Lazar that’s in the high slot as he kind of funnels into the middle.
Right-handed shot could have one time this but it’s a little behind him so he’s got to reach.
Fiercely fought between Frederick and Pearson. And now Frederick the other way to the
net. Shot stopped. Rebound available. That play ruled on side as I follow
backs his way in. Feeds strengthly. Reot score underneath the bar and the
Jets are on the board at five to one. They’re going to take a look at this to
my right on the entry into the zone. But what a shot by Shifling. Just sticking a
flash. Here’s the ex the pass up the ice. Precedes. He doesn’t have to come back.
Yeah, this will come back. That’s why I said pulled on side. Absolutely. That was a
little looked like it was all in one motion, but tough one here. And this is kind of the
night. We think this is going to come back, but this is a I mean, this is topnotch here by
Shley who’s had a terrific season this year. Yeah, there’s the challenge. He just doesn’t have
possession. Trafley absolutely a rip job upstairs. But again, our first take is that this
is going to be offside cuz he’s sliding. Sliding preeds. Doesn’t have possession. Doesn’t have
possession. Yeah, that’s offside. Here’s Cody Beach. After Edmonton’s coach’s challenge, it
was determined the play was offside. We have no That goes back to 2017. Jets and the orers met in the plates. The 2021s
are scoring Conor. A wrist shot and that stayed out. Connor ended that series by the way. Back
home stick exploded on him. Here’s Kyle Connor. Beautiful move around Boo Shark. Dishes off
tightly back door. And that one will count. Eight. Valardi. Beautifully executed three-way
passing play. And Valardi finishes for his 13th to bring it back to 51. Up over the glove. Dingy’s
the bar there on the left hand side. And then it’s Connor on the entry with a beautiful little move
to the middle. Backhand pass to Shane. He one touches it to Valardi back door who taps it home.
A lot of movement on this play into the zone. here. Luke Deborah went to LA and came to
Winnipeggers. A back door feed. What a save by Steuart Skinner on platov. Otherwise,
things get interesting here in a hurry. Domestic inside. Another save that time
on Cha. No one has no talked about this a better late than sometimes it takes a little
while in the back schedule they’ve had here to kind of get things going and you’re down.
So, you say why not? Let’s go have a period. Just took it from P. Kulak steps up, dishes up,
gets it back, and rips it off the shoulder of Millich. And then the rebound backhanded
just wide by Zackman for Steuart Skinner trapped by Frederick and Lazar. It’s turned over and there’s the finish.
Tamasic makes it 61 Edmonton. scratched the last couple and as he did in
Washington the last time he had been scratched for a few games with a goal. Well, he has a nose
around the net. There’s no question about that. And that’s why the Oilers signed him and brought
him in from Sweden where he was the best player on his team and in the league. And here he just
gets to the spot. Good job and good work here by Frederick on the fore. Secondary pressure by
Lazar turns it back and then a quick pass and a hard one by Frederick. Tomasic gets to the
space on time into the quick hands in tight. These two these two will see one another after
Christmas and I don’t think either will arrive in a festive mood. Here’s Cole Kempky wrap around
and he banked it in. And that’s goals on backto back nights for Key who had not scored as the
Winnipeg Jets. They’ve come out and and I know like the fourth line doesn’t play as much
as other lines. They should have a little more energy in a back-to-back situation, which
they do. They had two goals last night in the game against the Buffalo Sabres in a 4-1 win.
And this is just again mucking and grinding, bringing pucks to the net. Three big guys in the
fourth line. But Coulson on to dry subtle. We dip inside. Two minutes to play. Leon dry subtle.
There’s a one-time tow miss a hit on Raula. Nurse and me rider jaw at one another.
The seconds tick off as the players

Oilers have scored 15 goals in 6 periods😊
Winnipeg injured goalie carried team many years
Oil is warming up 😁
Comrie is proving he’s barely even a backup caliber goalie.
NICE SHIRTS THE OILER GUYS WEAR
No idea why Comrie played back 2 back games. Hellebyuck didnt even do that…
Johnny Toews not adding much here
Gotta love the Oilers when they're hyped and smiling naturally!
ok play hockey and don't fight, be civilized canadians !!
One day we’ll see skinner make a glove save
Bouchard will never be a defender. To soft to even touch oponents.
Set up on goal #4 was SWEET. Good job Oil. ✌️❤️🇨🇦

Oilers, break the corse, finally get the damn
Stanley Cup to Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!
Draisaitl GOAT
These jerseys look like they need tide laundry detergent. But they seem to help Oilers. Jets falling apart is kinda crazy?
Oilers are streaky bunch of goals in recent games which is nice.
Jets don't look like themselves.
When WPG scored to make it 5-1, I realized Skinner was in net…… I thought the Oilers were doomed.
Oilers fans are so whack
It looks like near playoff level Oilers playing the Oilers from a couple weeks ago.
Wouldn’t be an oilers highlight reel without her a Bouchard giveaway
Just imagine if the Oilers had a goalie….. this offence without a sieve between the pipes would be unstoppable! Good game last night!
got to be the Oilers new uniforms, those are great …
