Eagles News: Team messaging has been about “stop pointing fingers”

  1. The only finger that needs to be pointing is Lurie’s, showing Patullo where the door is.

  2. What’s the point of pointing fingers when clearly the eagles have no desire to change anything that is hurting their success????? I say let the mediocrity continue! We literally have a statue of a coach that won us a sb and gets fired a couple seasons after. If Sirianni doesn’t wanna take accountability then whatever, he’ll be out the door in no time.

Embarrassing to nearly have every important player from last year, a team that whooped on the chiefs, and to give a result like this. Doesn’t 2023 give these people ptsd????

  3. This sub would be so happy if they collapsed. They’ll say its ok because theyll “make changes ” but they really just want to come here and talk bad about the team.

  4. “We’re all trying to find the guy who did this”

<Instead of Tim Robinson*, it’s Kevin Patullo. The hot dog out fit remains the same.>

    Edit to fix auto correct

  5. Kevin Patullo: look, we’re all trying to figure out who did this, but let’s not point fingers anymore, ok?

  6. I don’t care about pointing fingers, I care about accepting responsibility.

It seems like everyone on the team except Patullo is accepting their role in losses. He also holds most of the blame.

    Fire Patullo.

  7. There would not be any pointing of fingers if they understood the problem.

This is what you do when you don’t have a solution.

Nothing is changing. Offense is gonna blow the rest of the year and the team is falling apart as a result.

  8. Why do we run an elementary passing offense? It’s just weird.

Sirianni and Patullo had great success with Rivers and Luck.
They pushed the ball down field and “schemed people open”.

    Fire Patullo! Amirite

  9. Players should not point fingers

Fans, on the other hand, are welcome to join me

  10. So will the stopping of pointing fingers make this team into contenders? Or they just don’t like being called out for their failures?

  11. He’s right in so much as pointing fingers creates a toxic atmosphere.

But you’ve also got to show you’re working on the problem at the same time.

Plus, all this finger pointing must be internal because there’s not been a peep of blame from the players outside of AJs vague-posting.

  12. The headline is cherry picked a bit. After talking about finger pointing it goes into how the real message is accountability, and that it’s not just about KP, Hurts, Saquon, or the O Line, that it’s everyone who needs to own up and be better.

So KP being highlighted as an issue did happen, and accountability is more the takeaway, which I’d think more people would be happy about than the title would suggest IMO. This is basically an “it’s the whole team” moment.

  13. Sirianni needs to step up you’re the head coach take over play calling and get this thing back on track

  14. Is this the chicken or the egg? Is the local media projecting drama, stirring the pot, and now getting their wish? Or was there dysfunction all along and the media was just reporting it?

  15. Crazy how many hoops are being jumped through instead of just admitting they hired the wrong person.

  16. Patullo deserves a lot of blame, but no one on the offense has looked good this year and the players on the field have to own that, too. Every one of those dudes has to demand more of himself.

  18. Smells like 2023 honestly. I’m 46 and watched sports for a long time and when “we need to stop point fingers” it’s already over. First round exit incoming.

  19. As it should be. We have more than one issue and anyone that doesn’t think so is out of their mind.

  20. They have an inability of taking accountability of problems that are happening. I’m mainly referring to Sirianni and maybe that’s where the confusion of my point is coming from, but it does seem he’d rather lose than win right now. It seems he doesn’t wanna be wrong where his desire is more to make his point than make changes that would actually help the team. Like firing his friend at oc.
