  6. I’m sorry but anyone who says this has not been watching the Texans play. They look about as incompetent as the broncos and aren’t coached quite as well. Anybody that wants to say they’re a contender should be able to beat them EZ

  9. Alex has been a homer for us plenty of times. He’s not wrong. He’s just watching the same football we are. This Chiefs team can win, but Texas is the better team right now. 

  13. Believe it or not, not everyone sees the chiefs through the rose colored eye balls we do. Objectively as a team, you are what your record says you are. Mahomes hasn’t fallen off but even that hasn’t been enough this year. And now we’re looking at the exact scenario that has been our kryptonite. Patchwork o line vs insanely fierce pash rush. No scheme or magic even matters if theres pressure in under 2 seconds so one way or another they gotta perform at least enough for Reid to scheme up a quick throw gameplan at least. So the lack of faith is justified. But people just remember the super bowl losses and discount we drug those same weaknesses through the playoffs year after year and win a lot of games with those same broken lines. So we can win this for sure, but if you watched these 2 teams unbiased the last few weeks… you’d be feeling the Texans right now too. They’ve been balling while we’ve been tripping over our own dicks . The only thing giving me confidence is its finally a real do or die situation

  17. I watched him pick KC on air this morning though? He and Randy Moss and Greenberg picked the Chiefs while Rex Ryan and Bruschi picked the Texans.

    When he’s saying the Chiefs aren’t good, it’s a legit take and not just some idiot looking for clicks. 

  19. Have you watched Chief’s football for decades? Then you know how this will go. Chiefs dominate the Texans. Squeak by the Chargers and Titans, so they enter the Broncos game in good shape. Then they blow the game in the 4th quarter, leaving them needing help against the Raiders in the final game. Everything will break KC’s what, but the Raiders will hang around until kicking a 77-yard field goal to win on the final play.

    *That’s* how the Chiefs miss the playoffs, if they miss the playoffs.

  20. He’s not wrong about the o line. He’s very, very wrong about the Texans being the “better football team” and frankly, I find that offensive. The Texans’ defense is superb. Their offense is generously at the low end of mid. The Chiefs are a much better team, with some injuries.

    This isn’t like the Superbowl. The Texans are not the Eagles. This game is winnable.

  24. We know Alex, our season most likely ends today. But on the bright side they’ll have extra rest mentally/physically the rest of the year. Andy can play some backups at the end. We’ll get a high draft pick and Veach will hopefully address the coaching staff and find some guys in free agency. We gotta just rip the bandaid off. If we made it back to the sb this year again veach would just stand still and do nothing.
