I mean, we just we stuck with it, you know, kept playing the right way. The ball started to turn for us. We’re making good plays. Guys were getting deflections. You I think we just turned it up a notch on defense and we was able to get some easy points on offense. Kevin, tonight you became the eighth player in NBA history to reach 31,000 points. What does that milestone mean to you? Uh, I’m just I’m just grateful to be in this position to live out my dreams every single day. So many people have uh invested in my life. I’m just grateful for them and want to keep it going. If I had told the kid growing up from PG County, Maryland, that he would be accomplishing all of this. What would he have said? I’d have said, “Damn right.” I love that. And I do want to point out that the night that you reached 31,000, you started the game and Jeff Green, your Supersonics’s draft mate, ended the game. What does it mean to be here with Jeff 18 years later? Man, I always enjoy being around Jeff coming into the draft together and just to see us have this long career in the league and be respected means a lot, you know.   20. He got injured earlier in career n missed significant amount of games in his prime he would be approaching kareem around this time or passed if it was for injuries thats like 6k points missing rn
