Franz Wagner in serious pain after knee injury and carried to locker room vs Knicks
[Applause] Brunson reaching stolen. Brunson thought he got fouled. Good hands from Vagner. Black throws it up and Hucki deflects him out of bounds as Vagner goes down hard. There was a lot of contact there. Oh, that’s a lot of in ugly injury there. Gabelli quickly checks on him. Excuse me, Hucki. A lot of stress on his ankle on his knee, folks. He landed very awkwardly. They’re going to check to see if it’s a flavor. And you see Hogy is clearly upset. and Suggs went over and said it’s okay. Hooking wants to make sure nothing dirty about the play, but they’re going to check if it’s a flagrant. Yeah, he’s in excruciating pain. Watch how badly this looks when he falls. Hard to tell if if he had to braces fall with his hand. Here, we’ll get a better look on this one. Oh, the leg is he landed awkwardly. The leg underneath him. Oh yeah, that’s where yoga comes in. These guys do yoga every day for flexibility. So obviously that helps. It’s just it’s always sickening to see a player whether it’s a great player or role player doesn’t matter. When you you get the feeling it’s it’s it’s not good in terms of the injury. This this young man has really become one of the best players in the NBA. Last year he dealt with injuries, came back strong and is playing even better. He missed 20 games last year with a torn oblique. Same kind of doom and gloom we saw with Tatum of Boston when he was injured. Yeah. You just get sick to your stomach. You can tell he’s a little shaken up. Yeah. Out of breath, overwhelmed. And this happened to him last season, Mike. He missed a lot of games. Yep. The oblique. Yeah. Looks like he’s not going to be able to put any weight. You see the concern of 40 right away. He went over to him cuz he knew it was a bad land landing. [Music] And there’s his brother who’s out right now. Had surgery on his shoulder as uh Small Vagner from France. So Richard Mero had been out 10 games. That’s not looking now. They’re top gun. Uh like he’s might be missing sometime as well.

Carrying someone to the locker room is the dumbest, most dramatic way to get someone with a leg injury to the physicians. Only in the NBA would they think this is the best way to handle injured limbs
Ouch 😢😢
While most likely not intentional, the decision made has a lack of intelligence and disregard for safety all over it.
Go get Chris Paul magic not gonna survive without good point guard
Prayers for Wagner 🙏
And an another one injury ! 😞another stupid foul when someone goes up to the circle !
Soft
Tbh guys dont really contest easy breakaway lobs like that anymore from behind. Not saying he did it on purpose but just the way the game is played now, I don't think Franz was expecting that from behind especially how strong Yabusele jumped to block it. His force unfortunately caused the injury.
This is why Lebron just heaves random threes #LongevityGoat
Nah keep playing, the low management is trash! – MJ
From his reaction, he knows, what has happened, I fear he could hear and feel, when one of the bands has snapped. My tip (sadly) frontal cruciform ligament.
Possible/likely end of season 2025/2026.
Last year: Paolo goes out, Franz is hooping, Franz gets hurt
This year: Paolo out, Franz hooping, gets hurt
Man I hope he’s ok this is his year!
So we're not taking about the dirty play by whoever that guy was that went on Wagner? People need to bring back bullying and hate
Has to be a hyperextension which means he's not going to be coming back for another 1-2 months sadly.
Hukporti did nothing wrong. It’s nice to see Suggs tap him on the shoulder to reassure him there was no ill will.
But that’s gruesome. First Tatum now this.
It's over for Orlando
Hoping Franz has a speedy recovery. I get that both are going after the ball, but when there's contact like that with someone airborne, that should be a flagrant at the very least and not a common foul.
Torn cruciate ligament and/or meniscus… season over.
Franz we love you 😭❤️
no foul call is crazy
These dudes court awareness is non existent its a shame when a guy jumps and your late on the help leave him alone hes already in the air. Hes vulnerable
Have they announced what the injury is specifically? He definitely overextended his knee when he landed on his left leg but hard to tell from any of the angles what might’ve happened
Damn he was the only player on the magic that was consistently playing well. Depending on how long he’s out for, the magic are cooked
Man this Orlando team was hooping too. And Wagner was a main part of that. Sucks
The Professor just broke part of his lower leg falling back on it like that too.
Get well soon!!!!
Dammit! Every time they get rolling somebody gets injured. 🤦🏾♂
It was the passers fault, very reckless. There's a time and place for
The ally-oop. Contested full speed fast break not one of them.
pls no acl no
How the hell do you even fall like that.
How the hell can a pro athlete not be aware of the position of his extremities lol
lol @ hukporti grabbing his injured knee
thats why Bane threw the ball at OG
Shorten the NBA season; the players are too big and fast now. Record injuries this year.
Bad foul but wtf was this pass you trhrow an alley oop with a defender behind him this is so dumb
why his dumb teammate throwing a lob like he's prime lebron?
Knicks playing flagrant asf
Free Falasteen ! Free KAshmir! Free Kanaky! Free Sudan! Free The Congo! End Imper1alism. Thanks for video.
I know it wasn't malicous, but I don't see how that's just a common foul though… he was so exposed in the air and just got pushed – high potential for injury on that one…
