I’ve been a Falcons fan for more than 50 years. I know heartbreak and lost seasons. This one just feels … different. This is the first time I didn’t even tune into the first half. I hopped in the car to run some errands and cut on Wes and Arch to hear the opening of the second half. Turned it off and went about my day. I’ve labored through some trash over the years. Today I opted out for the first time in five decades.

Today was the first day in 9 years I didn’t watch the game. The wife asked if I wanted to drive up to the mountains. Can’t say I really missed watching which kind of sucks since I used to live and die by this team since 1974.
This team has checked out for the season. I ain’t mad at them. Now owner needs to find the right football people to gut this franchise.

At the beginning of the season we had legit play makers and fun players to be excited about. I guess it doesn’t matter how good you are in the nfl if your coach doesn’t do their job you can’t do yours.
