This kid has been successful throughout his entire professional career outside of his last month in the bigs as a rookie. Really confident that he’ll figure things out and be thought of again as a core component of the team again.
Big reason why I don’t like going after Schwarber. Unless we trade both of Duran and Abreu, what are we going to do with Campbell? Feel like we need to have that DH slot open to let Campbell get plate appearances and give him OF reps on off days for Roman, Rafaela, and Abreu/Duran
Is it possible Campbell is being showcased in winter ball so he can be involved in a trade, with his team friendly deal and prospect status being very desirable to potential trade partners?
Has he been putting the ball in the air much?
He could be special, he has the stuff. If he can fix that swing and approach we have a real star.
