Avalanche vs. Flyers | NHL Highlights | December 07, 2025
Welld deserved. Congrats to Coops. Couple other
milestones that could take place. And there is one other games played milestone we’ll get to as
well as the Flyers gain control off the draw last year in his last game against them. Here’s Bobby
Brink moving in. The shot fended off by Blackwood. Andre will send it back around behind. Makes
it way to Brink. Got the puck off a skate to connect and he turns it over at the Colorado
line. And the Avalanche feast on those kind of turnovers. There’s Marty Nes dropping back
to McKinnon into the slot. Back at her in the save by Harrison off of Lechin Tippet and it back
wide off a body behind the net. Victoria whacks it free to Owen Zippet. Zippet not piling up the
points of late gets it back out. Jules a wind and blast score. Couturier may have redirected
that and the birthday boy in his 900th game perhaps makes it one- nothing Philadelphia.
gives the Flyers a quick start. Good job here retrieving this puck. The Flyers able to win it.
Couturier. Then Tippet goes to work. Watch how Tippet is able to use a seam here. Able to find
that seam which frees up some space. Jules gets it through the the shot blocker up top. Puck’s
going wide, but Couturier, who’s off to the side, is able to tip it home. And the Flyers with
a quick start to start this afternoon game. He’s got some pretty good offensive instincts to
him and obviously Mar is all worldly but Molinsky having a terrific year. Look out trouble here.
Manson in. He’s denied as came out aggressively this year. They seem to be a little bit health a
lot more healthier. Big shot. Taves sails high and wide. Wilson now has to deal with the forche
of Parker Kelly. He’s joined there by Zakar Vardikov. They get it back out to Brett Burns
for a shot. Save made by Eri, but it comes out to land to sky. Cross ice. He’s got Colton moving
up through center. Cross Colton the drop pass. And now the shot fended off by Oh, and Tippet behind
his own net. Avalanche don’t give you any time. And he flipped it this way. But the Avalanche will
win the race to the puck. Bur around back behind. Nate just holding waiting and then across ice.
Burn shot. They score. and Juskin was in there to distract Harrison and the Avalanche respond and
tie this game at one five. Then the Flyers have. So when they get going in the offensive zone, they
are dangerous and they they can cycle pucks. They use seams. Natur is able to be patient here and
you can see just he looks a couple players off. Looks like he may go up to the point. Nope. He
finds a seam. And who does he find? Brent Burns, who’s one of the best at getting the puck off his
stick in a hurry. He catches it. He releases it to the point. Julesson is there to Zamula. Zamula
the shot wide back out. Tipp it. Tichkov one-time. Jules deflected save. Made his couturier tried
to get a piece. Tied at one. Nous to McKinnon. McKinnon escapes the checking of Gankin. Gets it
to Burns for the shot. Save made by Erson although he was handcuffed by Burns. Could really fire it
as we well know. Nous to the line with it. Gets it off to Manson. Manson flips one. Save made as
Eri takes that one. That time isn’t right now cuz look out. Here he is with the puck. He’ll deal it
off for NIS. The shot save. Rebound into the high slot. Devorak got enough of it to clear the zone.
They’re set up. Here’s Macau. Deals it to McKinnon a minute into the power play. His wrist deflected.
It’s loose. Still loose. Poked at. Hates fishing for it but just couldn’t come up with it. And now
sent back this way. But that’s not going to get out of the zone. McKinnon’s waiting for it. He’ll
get it out to the point. Mar the other way for the shot off the post and it gets out to center
ice. Nate just winding up but caught iron right back in comes McKinnon for the shot. Save made
by again the Flyers fishing for a puck. It’s at theway trying to clear but he’s knocked down.
Bench wants a penalty. Crowd wants they won’t get it and connect. He couldn’t get it past Mar at
the point. They dump it down low. Here’s McKinnon. McKinnon tried to sauer in the middle. It bounces
to Nes. Nes holds on back out to Macar. He’ll flip one wide, bounces back out in front of Jana. They
score. Or did they not? I thought it was a cross. It is in the net and it is a goal. The referee
slow and reacting, but the puck’s across the goal line. And the Avalanche get a power play goal
on the road to make it two to one. Par from Marty Nas, but by and large it was just shots from the
middle creating havoc. The shot by Mar goes off the end boards and from there it’s a mad scramble
that McKinnon is able to get a piece of. I got to think it will be McKinnon’s goal as he gets a
stick there. Does Nelson Oh, maybe Nelson may have gotten it. But either way, it’s it just
a simplifiers unfortunately give up the power play goal because the strip that was called was
kind of on a nothing play. Here’s Andre dancing to the slot. Andre shot. Oh, he just missed it.
Well, interesting signing by the Avalanche to take Brent Burns on at 40 years of age. Tays a
shot here. Save. Rebound. Another save by Erson as he stopped Landiskog on the doorstep. That’s a
big save earlier in the second. This puck gets to the point. Watch Landiskog. He’s able to outmuscle
Andre. Get there. There’s a tip. Tough to control that rebound and then you’re in scramble
mode for Arison. Unfortunately for Arison, uh, Landiskog not able to. Flyers moving out
through center ice after that face off. Connect the shot save. Rebound right in front, but the
Flyers couldn’t get to it. Sanim has to rotate back. It goes off Sealer’s stick, but got to be
careful those inside the blue line turnovers. Flyers getting that first shot of the
second period. There’s a pass across. They score. The avalanche get it to big
Larry Nushkin. He beats Harrison. It’s 3-1 Colorado early in this second. Guy that
is kind of an enigma. And when he gets going, he can be dangerous. This is off the rush. This is
not really where Nachuskin should make his living. It should be more net front. But here you talk
about catch and release. There’s a pretty good catch and release as well. It may have gone off
of Zamula just a little bit once again. So let’s see if the game as it wears on maybe they start
to tire. Josh Matson a shot save rebound all the way out to Ross Colton out for Colorado and
the Avalanche win the draw. Here is Taves the circle. Little backhander by McKinnon off the
pad of Erisoned in a good spot. Connectny and it knocked down by McKinnon carrying on
as D’vorak. Bounces one in on Blackwood. But back to Devor shot and the save made there
by the Colorado goalender off of the right side. Colton Colton waits setters goes all the way in
on goal. Save made Harrison kicked it out of there and now Andre looking to spring connecting. He’s
got him now. Connecting cutting in. He scores. Point number 499 for Travis Kenki. And
this game is now a onegoal contest. 3-2. Much better here to start the period in the
second. Andre saved by Erison. Quickly gets it up to Kknney. And what an alert play
here by Conkne. I mean, he just outweights McKenzie Blackwood. Blackwood thinks he’s
going to take it forehand backhand. So, he’s getting ready to push with that left skate
to get across. He’ll send it into the corner, but was all tied up. Burns gets there and he’s got
a man. Olson behind the defense in on goal. Save. Huge save there. Mark it down. Although the Flyers
have to get their bearings back. Avalanche able to spring Victor Olivesson free on the weak side. And
a real big Macar plays it the other side of the ice. And now Lechin on the right side. Nous back
to Burns for a drive off the post. That’s one guy you don’t really want hammering it from distance.
He can beat you. He’s so quick at getting it off his stick. That’s what he’s good at. Here’s
McKinnon slotting it through. Macar makes the play to himself and then it’s Cer taking it away
as Mac had envisions on a spectacular goal. Now an outlet for Connecti again. It tips beyond Burns.
Connecti tracking it down. Connecti cutting in the shot. Same rebound and Blackwood stayed with
it. No, Blackon is able to knock that down and he gets it to Macar and now the right wing feed.
Natures exploding on up with it. Check. Everybody goes into the net. The puck does not. Hopefully
Harrison is okay. tapping at Sanheim. Yeah, he gets body position on Sanheim. The contact by
Sanheim. It really is truthfully all Sanheim that knocks him into Nation. Then you see there’s
a the face wash by Seer. Wasn’t so Ziggress though being grabbed by McKinnon. Zigris moves
in. Zigris the shot. Save made. Penalty coming up. Rebound Kney hits the referee as it went wide.
He’s only 29 seconds into his shift, so he still should have some gas in the tank here. The Flyers
able to survive this match. Scramble 2D get caught deep for the avalanche and Zegris able to get body
position on Nathan McKinnon. McKinnon trying like heck to get back but you could see I mean he wraps
his arms around him and really Trevor Ziggress as usual taking his time on the way in from the right
wing. He cuts it and a save by Blackwood calmly. So somehow Ziggress 65% of shootouts is now 0
for three. So weird that that stat exists and usually Ziggress is a little bit more patient than
what we see right there. I feel like he kind of he hurried the play. He usually goes low stick,
low blocker or five hole. This time he tried Nelson. Nelson into the high slot. Coldly
fan on it. Chance for the R. Knocked down. No call there. Connecti has the puck. Connecti
Manson coming back. Takes the quick shot. Save. Blackwood rebound. Connecti trying to bank it,
but Blackwood was up to that as well. Connecti stays with it. Plays it along the kick plate.
Back out to Andre. Andre high slot. Ziggress. Shot clock. Bounces to D’vorak. D’vorak to
connect a swing and a misses. He was slashed that. No call. Now it’s Segris. Crosses wide
open. Connect. Wait. Fire. Save. Blackwood. Swinging a miss again by the Avalanche as
they begin to show some signs of fatigue. Ziggress with a puck. Ziggress check before
he could take the shot. He’s got it back again from Connecti. Ziggress to Andre center point
takes a shot. Deflection to Morax. Save made. Blackwood. I think that that line was tired as
well. Here’s Kates moving in. Kates lowers the shoulder. Got shot. Rebound free. Could not get
it to settle down as he was being checked. It sits in the circle. Comes free. connecti waits
fires and it goes wide as the horn sounds and the Avalanche hang on for a 3-2 win. the
Flyers all over them in the third period.

Great game
My flyers played hard which is good to see considering the rough years we’ve experienced .
Despite the loss, I think the flyers played great today. We absolutely rammed them in the 3rd period by letting them get only a few shots. Just wish ersson could save a bit more
Ggs flyers fans
both teams are playing great this year
Very happy to see the Avs win this in regulation. They gifted the NYR a point yesterday after the beating they received from the Isles in the prior game.
Good job Avs. I'm glad Brock is working out and Isles fans are more than happy to have Cal Ritchie.
The final consequence… and luck wasn't on our side either (3rd period)… I say we're on the right track. Things are getting better with Ersson too. LET'S GO FLYERS 💯🏒
Possibly the most annoying announcers ever.
Go Av's
i like how the flyers announcers apparently think everything is a penalty
NHL hoky lo mejor
Sam Errson is the reason this game wasn’t 5 or 6-2.
The amount of no call penalties against the Avalanche was disgusting to even watch. One would’ve stopped a goal and kept the game tied.
Sadly Zegras couldn't get the penalty shot to go in… He's so clutch in shootout i thought he'd make it
Could of easily won that game out played them in the third showing col a little to much respect still was a good game
Gritty
This was a lot closer than I thought it would be
