Well, this is definitely a bummer of a video to make. Daniel Jones, one of the feel-good stories of this season. I pause it just to set the stage, but here it’s a third down and eight here for the Colts. You know, Jaguars sending pressure. There’s actually going to be a penalty that ultimately makes this play not even matter. But Daniel Jones, to his credit, does a nice job of navigating this pressure well enough to get the ball off. Gives his receiver a chance for a first down. However, over here, this is the story of the play. Watch Daniel Jones’s right leg. It’s a non-cont thing. watch as you’re going to see. I mean, it doesn’t doesn’t look like much when you’re watching it, but sometimes those are the worst ones when you don’t see a ton. This is ruled an Achilles injury. Uh is that’s what the Colts have said. He is out for the game. So, that is that is not ideal. Uh that there’s just no getting around it. that this completely sucks and you know not really more much more you can say about it than

This is why I don't begrudge the players getting as much as they can, as fast as they can, while they can. Every player is one play away from a permanent disability.
Colts need to be realistic. Plan and play for jobs/careers from here on out. Fans need to enjoy coming beatings, perhaps a win or two, with an eye toward 2026. Yes, and pray for the well-being of Daniel.
