Why the hell was JD5 playing? Arm clearly not right. It’s a lost season so let’s make sure we further risk our franchise QB. This team just can’t stop making stupid decision after stupid decision. The ghost of Snyder is visiting us 😒
Another injury prone qb with chicken legs and zero muscle tone
I hope JD progresses next year but I think commanders need to look at available qb’s at some point in this draft. Just options to see during preseason at least.

Btw quinn just said jd5 could have come back but quinn decided not to. So he isn’t injured again, it probably just slightly reaggravated

I thought the commanders should have drafted Drake Maye and was happy to eat crow last year. Hate to say I was right. Being so injury prone is one thing, but the fact that Jaden is just looking to run every single play and roll right even when there’s a clean pocket is a terrible sign. Even with a clean pocket, he panics and rolls right and creates pressure where there is none.
He should have let Mariota close out the season, he wasn’t ready.
This season has been an absolute disaster and that feels like an understatement.
I don’t think this is Quinn’s fault. Not the main reason anyway. I’ll die on that hill. He’s got a resume most coaches will never touch. Injuries are at the top of my list. Just brutal.
But, I pose this thought. When a season goes this bad, for whatever reasons, doesn’t matter…Is a hard reset almost mandatory? Meaning you have to let Quinn and his staff go in favor of a fresh approach? Simply because the remaining players for next year will need that to move on with renewed hope? Hear a new voice, new technique, terminology, new vibe.
Dan, I’m sure was trying everything in his power to motivate…”if we do this and this, we’ll find success”, mixed with all his Dan-isms for the whole season…And success never came. That causes doubt, confusion, players doing to much and frustration. There is a high probability it carries over to next year.
AP may not find the fault is with DQ, but he knows moving cleanly from this season with a new staff may be a quicker path to rebuild. Or maybe just new coordinators are enough?
