NHL Highlights | Blackhawks vs. Ducks – December 7, 2025
Yeah, you you make a good point. The season low shots on goal allowed this season by the Ducks was the 18 they surrendered against the Blackhawks earlier this year. Similar to the beating the Ducks took here on Wednesday against Utah. Stro on the rush to Vrono. Back to Stro. Got a little touch and it’s steered aside by Soderbloom. Ryan Green out of St. John’s Newfoundland gets it back and it’s Blic who comes in. His shot got through. Kicked out by Huso. Keeps it alive for Badard who tried to center. Kornne reverses off the end wall with it high in the zone again. Feeds the blue line shot purposely wide again. Came off the end boards and having a chop at it was Vrono. Frank has it again. Winds and fires and it’s absorbed by Soder Bloom. And it’s Conor Murphy who reverses it away. 13-year veteran. First round draft pick of the then Phoenix Coyotes. Here’s a bad turnover. Trouba leans into it and gives the Ducks the lead. That was a nothing play and it turned into a goal. Four checking pressure is what forces this turnover and Jacob Kruma was licking his chops. A bunch of strides. Here’s the pressure. It’s Senica and Krider up top. And here is the rush pass that goes all the way across and in comes Trouba and he just hammers it. A 94 mph blast. I was just going to say I was just going to say you were talking about measuring mileph on shots from defenseman. Anaheim continues to get offense. He and Trouba have been playing together for all of two games. Trouba through the middle for Goce who gets it across the line. McAshis just sweeps it on net. lively rebound again to Trouba who skates into it and says little hook on Stro doesn’t deter the Ducks as they continue on Toronto pushing it up the right boards comes loose at the side of the Chicago net in front kick save oh and a rebound right there for Vano and we got a whistle for both Stro and Frank Petrono yeah it was a good job by Korn to keep that puck alive and gets it to Stro the rebound for Petrono sold does a good job that left leg pad getting across right to there. Little kick save and a beauty by Nazar keeps this one in. Circles off the half wall. Snaps it all the way across. Got a man coming off the bench and a stick save by uso on Lev Sha. Hawks regroup and turn it over now. Kne a little touch. Stro goes wide to the corner. Bad angle shot blocker right between the circles by Sodom. In comes Korn. Ducks do a good job to keep possession. Mcome short little pass. opens some space. Stro looking for a tip right to the top of the blue and Sod Bloom will freeze it down. Yeah, Kornne was there. Jackson looks up ice. He’s got Granlin with him. Penalty coming up as he receives a slash to trailer a pass across. Great save. Soderblow and it’s Fatrono again who somehow does not find the back of the net. And their next action is Tuesday at Pittsburgh. Little 10day road trip. Five games in nine days and all through the Metro Division. Hard in on the for check Johnston and trying to duck underneath him was Wyatt Kaiser who looted the big hit but really caused some problems. This pass for Vrono deflexs out. It comes over McTavish with a one-time. Soder Bloom got across. Good puck recoveries in front looking for a tip. It’s loose. They score. Mason McTavish with a yawning net and the Ducks break through on the power play. Two nothing. Yeah, a smart play by Senica in front. He gets to that rebound and instead of shoveling it back into the goalender, it’s over to McTavish. There’s the redirect. That’s why Sodlum can’t handle it in the first place. And watch what Becca Synica does here. Little tap. He knows where McTavish is. Kaiser can’t get across to block the attempt and the power play comes through. Mctavish led the Ducks in goals a season ago with 22. Cudis chases back in his own zone. Goes ahead for Goce protects the puck. Backhand into the middle. Senica Senica hangs onto it across the top of the slot and he scores. Becket Senica. It’s three nothing. It’s another two-point night for Becket Senica. And we’re just halfway through. Headman pass from Radco here. Spreads the zone. Coming late with speed with Senica. And this one is a goal that Solder Blum will tell you he’s got to have. outside the faceoff dot. The goalie’s got to stop that puck. As good as he has been, this is a killer. Little deceptive is the the Hawks have somewhat thrown a little caution to the wind here in the last few minutes. They definitely have. This puck lobbed out of the zone. Colin trying to get behind the defense. He scores. Oh, what a finish. What a great finish from Alex Colornne. his first goal in 27 games and Alex Kornne makes it 4 nothing. You know it’s good to see this line get him rewarded. Alioop pass here from Ryan Stro. Little flip and that was the foot race and gets in behind Renzelle. He would have got a penalty for holding had he not scored. Saw the strength and the body position of Florence here. He gets that hip sticks that hip out so can’t get to the puck. And he just kind of hoist it up and over the glove. Second of the year for Alex Korn. Green trying to make a short little pass. It’s picked off by Terry. He weaves his way through center with Krider. Drop pass to Leo Carlson and they score. Did Terry get a piece of that? I think it hit something on route to the goal. I don’t know if it was Terry or if it was a Blackhawk defender. You could see Carlson and Terry discussing it. And I think Troy told Leo, I didn’t touch it. The Chicago defender that inadvertently touches this puck. Well, he went. Here’s a Here’s another look. See if we can pick up the contact there. It’s off Lionov stick. The puck just kind of fools the goalender there. Ramps up the stick. That thing was end over end. Good things happen. You throw punts at the net. one another. Ducks begin the third period on the power play for the first 45 seconds as Krebier sits for delay of game and Anaheim controls the draw into the Chicago zone. Granland is knocked down, kept alive. Lome moves it over alone in front Carlson for his second of the game. Great pass by Krider. It is 6 nothing and the plays made by Terry on the boards when he digs that puck off the boards and gets it into the middle. The Blackhawks were caught and then some good puck movement. One draw by Granland kicks it off and a quick transition play here as the puck gets to the boards. And this play by Troy JC three Hawks out high now they can’t get back to the top of the goal crease in time. If the puck is moved quickly and the passes are crisp, you’re never going to be able to match the speed of the puck if you’re a defender scrambling to get back. Second of the game. Second power play of the night for the Hawks as they win the draw. Levian off to Badard who moves it down low in front. Barakovsky redirects it. He says it’s in and now the referee says so as well. kind of a similar play to the goal that the Ducks scored on their power play goal. And you can see I I don’t know if he touches it with his stick or it goes off his skate. Think he got it with his may have redirected this puck in himself. John, watch this cross ice pass. Yeah, that’s that’s a tough one. That goes off the heel of the goal stick and right between the wickets. So that’s going to be Bard’s goal, which would be it is Bertusi. I beg your pardon. Not this coming Tuesday. Will be two weeks since Lucas Doall suffered his injury. And the Ducks get one at last for Frank Toronto. Yeah, you know what? He just watching his teammates surround him in the corner says all you need to know. They know how he’s been pressing. They know that he’s been snake bit. And that’s a feel-good goal for Frank Vrono pass. Yeah, it was Elwiger who jumped in and looked over and it’s the third of the year for Vrono and he adds to the scoring parade here tonight for the Ducks. Finally, 14 different ducks on the score sheet tonight. The most in a game in almost four years. And redemption belongs to the Ducks as they win it going away over Chicago 7 to one.
Beckett Sennecke scored his rookie-leading ninth goal of the season while Leo Carlsson potted two goals himself as the Anaheim Ducks smashed the Chicago Blackhawks 7-1 on home ice.

That was near-perfection 👌🏽
Why wasnt bedard jawing this time i don't get it
THATS IT BOYS
What a great game for the ducks and a great weekend of games for them. This is a huge bounce back from there 7-0 loss.
This just felt like a 60 minute penalty kill for Chicago.
🥲🥲What? Husso scored on himself. Hey, Hey, Hey what do you say? Blackhawks lost 6-0 at Los Angeles yesterday, and tonight they got smoked by Ducklings 7-1. You are saying that they lost back-to-back games? OH, absolutely! So the Ducklings are still at the top of Pacific Division? Things are looking up for Ducklings this year, 2025-2026.
Chicago Blackout
Someone has to be fired
Didn't these two just have a spirited battle? Ice seems a bit tilted tonight lol. . .
44 to 13 shots after 40 minutes. Ya no nice words were coming outta Soderblom's mask tonight…
Leo with an assisted knuckle puck into the top corner!
that's a shot back.
Quack Quack!!
Onkel Leo got the first Star
Too big to rig this time!
Should’ve just put the IceHogs in there. They couldn’t have done any worse.
If you were at the game tonight then the first period was the only time you could’ve successfully peed.
All 8 goals in this game scored by Ducks. Husso with the own goal.
That a way to stick it to em Ducks!!!! Awesome game, great comeback!!!!
I was thinking it'd be much closer when the game started but damn the ducks did not take any chances tonight. Most importantly they have offically started a new win streak, how far it goes we'll have to see they've got the Penguins to deal with next but I feel much better about going into that one now.
53 shots on goal 7 goals scored an absolute domination from the Ducks they were amazing nonstop all 3 periods
and now the hawks crumble
Ducks just out there looking like they’re having fun.
I’m guessing Bedard wasn’t talking smack in this game…
Bedard was REALLLLLY c*cky a week ago. What happened to Chicago??? By my math they've been outscored 19-5 over the last 4 games. PATHETIC!
Burakovsky tried to take credit for Bertuzzis goal 😂
Swedes blowing their loads over their first potential star forward (Carlsson) in a long ass time rofl. Canada has has those in spades (Mackinnon, McDavid, Crosby, Bedard, Celebrini, Gretzky, Lemieux).
Soderblom could not keep it out of the net if they replaced the puck with a beachball.
Senecka was NOT trying to pass that lmao
