NHL Highlights | Sharks vs. Hurricanes – December 7, 2025
for a game here that the Canes would love to win on their seven game home stand. And we drop the puck and here we go. Carolina will flip this one to the Sharks blue line and going to be turned back into the Kane zone is Dimmitri Orof who’s having quite the season for his new team, the San Jose Sharks after spending two years with the Carolina Hurricanes. He has 16 assists for San Jose this year. This will be worked back into the K zone and flipped behind Fior Kenko who’s getting the start. It’s his first start since November 17th at Boston. Chance here for Celebrrini [Applause] gets it to Colin Graph and the Sharks get on the board early. It’s one- nothing San Jose. What a pass this was from Cabbrini not to shoot the puck. San Jose with the pinch and support causes a turnover. Smith gets it to Cabbraney and Cabbraney makes the one extra pass to Colin Graph who beats Miller to the front of the net. I mean that’s a beautiful goal and San Jose clearly wins the first shift of the game. Now that team was built and made it to a Stanley Cup final. Fell on a little bit of hard times but it looks like they might be turning the corner with his youth as a snaps shut. I mean the numbers I mean look at that play he just made that pass but he’s complete. Kean lets a shot go and absorbed by Nidelovich. He’ll get a whistle and a chance for San Jose to clear as Nick Ley veteran will get it up free. Now a shot right on Coachette will make the save from Todd Delandria. The Sharks for another turnover. That shot blocked by Nikesian is Jeff Skinner trying to find a way on the board against his former team to Edmonton. Now a chance here for Eers creating a turnover. Nikolai Eer sending it across. A chance and blasted just wide by Walker. Stripping Lety of the puck. Takes a peek and then spins knowing where Walker was available. The first round pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs. San Jose will spill this one out. Here’s a chance by Celebr makes the save. I would say the game here that we that we won in overtime was a big is the big one. Cory, we appreciate it. Enjoy the weekend. Thank you. Thank you for that, Shane. As this shot is absorbed by Coach G. Jarvis’s pass too far for Rajo. It’s going to come the other way. Smith and the Sharks have numbers. That shot is snagged by Coachette Golf. Blake will hang on. He’ll drop it from Miller. Miller back for Jackson Blake. They’ll exchange again. Stay coven with a shot and it alic fends it off with a blocker over the glass into the netting. or they’ve either created or had Carolina’s best chances here in this first period. Really good save the golf score. A power play goal. The big man got in front and Jordan Stall. It’s been a while since he’s got a power play goal, but he’s got one here. And the Canes have tied it at one. Will be was Stall’s stick when he contacted the puck below the crossbar. Good goal on the ice, which is important. This is not a coach’s challenge. This is a standard league review. Spec puts it on a T for Gosses Bear. It looks to me like he is legally below the bar. Gossip gets in the middle. Just gives the big guy a chance. You know, different looks tell you different things at or below the crossbar. It looks to be a good goal to me as the the power play now trip for the last second. Martin with a chance. He’ll spend this one across Champfield right on Elkovic makes the save where he was able to out muscle Romani picked the blade trying to go back to Eers but a good stick by Nedovic. Stalling himself around Jarvis out in front for Stall and he got the shot through but Nadalovic will make the save and hang on as we get ready to start the second period here. Gaines and Sharks tied at one. Carolina has about 18 seconds left of power play time here. Power play five on five end of the game. just constantly using him all the time and so it’s he adds up a little bit but it wasn’t listen he earns go back to good situation a moment you know what there there is a moment almost in every series that was and so I remember I was on my way in cuz something had to be said like there it needed to get addressed right away because there was an important game seven coming up and I was on my way back in and the coaches were behind me and as I got close to the locker room score there Will Smith and it’s two on San Jose. Yeah, they’ve got some good young players, boy. You know, I’ve been I’ve been just watching games and stuff like that. Let’s get a look at this one here. And that’s the other thing I was going to ask you, but Trip had the great story about your dad. These young players come to the league now. They’re ready to go. Will Smith at 20, Mlin Celerini at 19. Yes, both of them. Watching both these guys play. That’s a nice shot right there. And they both factored in on both goals. And Carolina’s power play goal from their captain Jordan Stall. Here we stand now. Now it’s Jeff Skinner breaking in on the back hand waiting for coach goes Gumby and makes the save. Well, how much will we remember that stop from coachov to prevent San Jose from their first two goal lead. South Carolina coming the other way. Here’s Eers. Eers with a shot right on and it almost went the other way to get level at two. And Eers will keep this in. He’ll work it across for Chatfield. Catfield take a peek across for Gostas. Wheeler’s wheeling with it. Shot off of Helovich Blake. Looking back, it was it’s good to be on that like to score goals and have fun, you know. It was a fun Oh, wa. But yeah, like that. Was yours that nice? No. No. No. But it, you know, I’m not obviously I’m not used to scoring goals, but it’s when it comes to playoffs, everybody is like scored the goal, but there was always moments in the game that was more important like Eric Stall to to even get it to to an overtime. So, but no, good memories. fortunate is that it’s not the one number one YouTube mo goals I got like you know obviously the goal I score in my own net but game four of that series and Mark Rey’s going to join us give away here for Carolina toria but across back to yet the owner coach stretches out the right leg and reky with us here in the booth Stanley Cup champion three-time Stanley Cup champion but with that 06 team that we’re celebrating here this as the third period’s underway. How much of a factor did your history with Rod play? Well, Rod, you know, Rod and I, you know, we still are good friends to this day and uh he’s a special person and he’s a great teammate. So, what do you see here from Eers? Um, this is a nice move actually. He’s uh a couple times early in the second period, he actually should have shot the puck and he uh he stick handled one too many times. That Western Hockey League product and him or Stan Kov from there, too. a chance for Martin Oakook, another Westerner as well, you know, and every year it seems to get tighter and tighter right now and it’s uh you know, it’s great for the game and uh you know, it’s a great shot right there past the halfway point of the third period. Centering it. A chance there for AOC makes a save. Crashed into by Little Puts the shot right back on with his hand. Quick pass to Aaho and unfortunately Aaho toepick still gets a a good chance but it would have been a better chance had he not lost his footing and Demetri Olaf came over Blake trying to center that’ll bounce off of a body controlled by Taylor Hall. Sharp angle shot saved Elkovic as he holds the near post clearing attempt and taking a heavy hit from behind is Nikisha staying in the net. Now chance to drop that back for Wenberg and we’ll get the second opportunity to keep it in now. A little two-on-one across hanging on shot. Coachov makes the save. Gosses bear will work this one for Eers. Aers gets it out in front. Still there. Special turns. Jarvis gets to it and Adelovic makes the save. You’ve just started to and Adulkovich is he took a peek. He saw where Blake was and he probably even saw Jarvis. Heck of a look there from Eers getting that puck to the net for a one-toucher with such pace. But you can see on that first look that Nadulkovich took a peek. Get it right back eating it through the seam. But Steelers couldn’t get to it clean. Cabbrini takes a look with an empty net. Winberg being watched by Jarvis in a penalty being called out in front though as Winberg gets it to Mlin Cabbrini and he’ll finish this hammering it into the empty net and it’s a 4-1 Shark lead. Ferraro had lost his stick. You’ve already got a sixon five situation. So it really becomes a sixon four and still Celabbrini along with Wenberg find a way to outnumber to create the opportunity at their own blue line draw a penalty in the process everybody’s got somebody who can be a difference maker and if you don’t have your game you’ll get a result like here tonight a 4-1 win for the San Jose Sharks over the Carolina Hurricanes [Music]
Macklin Celebrini continued his amazing sophomore season vs. the Carolina Hurricanes with a goal and two assists to power the San Jose Sharks past the Hurricanes 4-1.

The Canes broadcast said they played 3 games in 4 days. I would highly assume this was a factor in the game.
refs on their way to miss every single sharks penalty 🧑🦯🧑🦯🧑🦯🧑🦯
This was the final time the Canes and Sharks played this season and it was a tie on the season series. The winner of next seasons series should get to lift Brent Burns over their heads like a trophy after the game. Ray Whitney was an all star level player the sharks fired him off the team. One of the biggest blunders in sharks history. Irbe was the Sharks first most famous goalie. Did not know he played 5 years on the Canes.
Brent Burns

Have a little chit chat while there's some exciting hockey … SCORES !!!!
not once but twice …… F off with the coffee table chit chat ….. who's
directing this crap ?
Could you imagine this result last year? The Sharks are blowing away all expectations.
First victory vs Carolina since 2021. I thought the team defense looked real solid in the first 2 periods. The 3rd period Carolina got a lot of chances and Ned stepped up big. Glad to see a 3 point game from Macklin
Canes, will win one, lose one 🙂 They could end up winning the division, but as usual won't go far in the playoffs. Won't make the Finals.
The Canes beat the Sharks 8 times in a row before this game started.
Забросили одну шайбу и то,с нарушением правила,опасная игра высокоподнятой клюшкой!!!🤬
Акулята так скоро и в грозных акул превратятся.
Canes fan: The Sharks look like a playoff-bound team: young, quick, good passing, good defense. The Canes, on the other hand looked old and slow and like they were just practicing. No sense of any playmaking–just passing around and taking long wristers. Things need to change or it will be a first-round exit for them. Again, congrats to the Sharks for a great game.
I believe the Canes were honouring the 20th anniversary of the '05-'06 Cup champs at this game, hence the nostalgia-fest in the commentary rather than paying attention to the game.
First win with both Klingberg and Leddy in the lineup
Playing poor hockey against teams they should beat and will determine their fate.
what is with these clown broadcasts doing interviews during the game? do your job and call the game
