Franz Wagner’s injury leaves giant hole for Orlando Magic’s offense #franzwagner #orlandomagic
This is Philip Rossman Reich, the host of Locked on Magic as the Orlando Magic fall to the New York Knicks 106 to 100. But the big news of the day came early in the first quarter, midway through the first quarter when Fron Vagner landed awkwardly on his left leg and left the game not under his own power. He was helped to the locker room by Noah Penda and Mo Vagner and what appears to be a very, very serious injury. Fron, of course, on route to potentially his first All-Star game, just like he was last year when he got injured exactly one year ago. December 6th was when he got hurt when he tore his oblique last year. This year, a left leg injury, which we do not know the extent of as I’m recording this. Um, the Magic just frankly looked in a daysaze for the rest of this game and and there’s a big Fron Vagner sized hole to fill. Paloan Carro in his second game back still working his way back into rhythm. He doesn’t look quite in game shape yet or quite at game speed yet. And so the Magic really lacked a lot of the downhill attacking and just the creation on the ball that that they’re going to need to be successful in this period. Now Paulo is going to get better. This team’s going to rally obviously in the middle of a game this happening it can rattle you. And I think it definitely rattled the Magic. Their defense still hung as tough as it could. The shots wouldn’t go down and Orlando’s offense really stalled out which it’s been stalling out for the last week. So maybe this isn’t just a Fran Vagner issue. But the big story for the Magic is how long will France Vagner be out? What is the extent of this injury and what will this mean for the Magic as they continue to come together and try to find their way up the Eastern Conference standings? Be sure to check out Locked On Magic. I’m sure there’ll be updates on Locked on NBA as well. Check out Locked On Magic for the latest on Fron Vagner as we get more on his injury.
The Orlando Magic have a Franz Wagner-sized hole to fill in their offense right now. On Sunday, Wagner’s injury was the story and the team looked like it was trying to figure out how to move forward in the moment.

Jesus another injury. Thank god they got bane and Paolo is back.
Another season full of injuries.. Man Orlando Magic is super unlucky.. Sorry to say but we officially have a nursing home in the Orlando Magic🥲
This team is cursed with injuries. It’s so frustrating to watch . This team’s potential is being robbed every year . The NBA will never see this Magic team at full strength.
Of course when Paolo gets back and we start to get hot. Franz was our top dog and it’s gonna be hard going forward without him.
😢 The injury gods are after us again. Up hill fight 💪 we can still do this, The rookies look good they almost won the game at the end they had to bring the New York starters back at the end.
Keep fighting guys we're with you guys all the way.
Another magic tragic 😢
Hope it's not serious Get well Franz
If the Magic start losing consistently again, I am calling Franz our #1 guy, not Paolo.
Horrible defense
We don't even know it's a major injury
That was some bad ugly defense man in soccer that guy would be suspended for at least 3 games for that
