fantastic career for my goat ertz
Nooooooo. One of my favorite eagles that’s somehow become underrated. He’s had a strong 2nd act to his career. Sucks it had to be for the Commies but I’m happy he’s kept playing this long. Him and Julie did a LOT for Philly.
Hard to think his career isn’t over after that hit. Man, poor Ertzy. No one deserves to have their time in the league end on that kind of injury.
Love you Ertz. It’s been a ride. Seeing him cry messed me up
Oh man. He will always be an Eagle to me. At this point I hope he recovers and calls it a career.
That sucked
That was a brutal brutal looking leg injury. That could very well be it for him.
jesus i just saw the hit. what a horribly dirty tackle.
That’s awful, hate to see that happen, especially to a player like Ertz. 💔
Holy… That looks absolutely horrible. I hope he can fully recover from this. Maybe not playing anymore but at least no permanent issue!
What a horrible looking injury that was!
I mean he had an amazing career, likely HoG worthy. Not the way you’d ant to go out but shouldn’t be ashamed of everything he’s done
I know it always looks worse in slow mo but Jesus christ that was a dirty play. Like a suspension worthy play. Homie dove directly at his knee with intent.
Terrible way to finish up a career. Still one of my favorite eagles
That was a coward’s tackle
10 receptions short of the franchise record. Dude never should’ve left Philly
Rest up king and let howie know when to send the 1 day contract
Hoping it’s something “simple” like dislocated knee. Ughhh
That was a dirty play, and I wish him full healing.
Mariota literally got him killed
Dirty hit
Man that sucks. He still seemed like he had a lot of football left in him too.
I hope they suspend Jay Ward for the remainder of the season. There was absolutely no reason for that dirty shit. WTF goes on in these people’s heads? Jay Ward isn’t fit to lick the cleats of Zach Ertz.
Fuck the Vikings
This sucks for one of the good guys in sports. Who can forget him tearing up watching his wife’s reaction to the NFC Championship Game win in 2018.
Ertz!
That sucks. It’s likely the end of his career.
He never got the national recognition he deserved. Him not making the All-Pro team at least once is ridiculous. His career numbers are good enough for the HoF, but he won’t make it unfortunately.
He’s lucky his leg wasn’t planted or contacting the ground or 😬
It’s still bad and prayers up etc but if that was on a leg that couldn’t go with the hit it could have been so so so bad.
Didn’t see the hit, but this is awful news. Ertz was an early favorite for me.
Look forward to his ring of honor night… terrible way for his career to potentially end
Still happily wear his jersey
People saying dirty hit but whats he supposed to do? You’ll be the same people saying football is soft when they say you have to tackle the waist only.
Wtf how is he ok with making that tackle, you’ve just ended a career and potentially really fucked a persons leg up.
what a bummer man. absolutely love Ertz! our TE goat forever.
That hit was dirty af
Omg poor Ertz. That’s awful. I hope that he can heal correctly. That was an intentional ass hit to the knee.
The video clip is on r/NFL and it looks BAD!
Also looks like a pretty dirty hit.
I never said it was not a legal hit. I said it was dirty shit.
