Glad he said some
He aint wrong
I thought he did a great job of pushing his point without crossing over into drawing fines from the league. He seems like he’s been doing a good job of working the refs on the holds both in game and out, but if it continues I’d kick in some cash for a gofundme if he wanted to abandon all mincing of words and have a real blowup about it.
I’m sure they’ve done this already, but they need to send a holding Parsons highlight tape to the league. Officials make mistakes and it’s impossible to catch everything. But they really need to show how many times a game it’s blatant and how many others “could” be called.
Can’t be ignored anymore, Packers need to hit this as hard as they can with the league.
I know you can’t call them all, but you gotta call 1-2 a game especially on 3rd downs when Parsons is getting absolutely mugged. Teams realize they can just hold all
game against the Packers and know the refs likely aren’t gonna call it
Owners gotta be addressing this at the next meeting. The amount of missed holding calls (not even just against us) this year has been unreal
He not lying
NFL is going to fine him for that one
None of us do. The refs have clearly been instructed to never call it against anyone we play against.
10K fine incoming
He’s got to be really ticked if he’s going even this far calling out the refs. LaFleur is usually pretty diplomatic. This is risking a fine.
I was so confused lol. Looked like holding every other play in the 4th.
Say it, coach!
It is a difficult job only if you are cash strapped and can not afford cameras on every single player, and a ref in a booth upstairs, reviewing every single cam real time to make a call upstairs that gets announced.
This and the “Oopsy, we snapped the ball before the refs could see what the fuck actually happened”.
Don’t even get me started on the “I don’t know what the fuck happened. But I have to make a ruling. Oh wait, we need to have overwhelming evidence to overturn the on field call”
When the players know the upstairs refs are going to call every single fault, the players will straighten up too!
Like how is this a multi hundred billion dollar sport? Embarrassing!
The NFL is literally handicapping the Packers financially by not calling obvious holding on Micah Parsons. Think about it – we gave up a shit ton of draft capital and large portion of cap space for him, and the league is handicapping his production (same thing with other elite rushers around the league), and therefore, is implicitly stripping the organization of it’s financial resources.
If they called holding on Micah the way they should, we would be shutting teams out and taking away the pass. And we deserve that kind of production for what we had to give up.

Pretty clear to me…
Get pissed…..time for “i dont what that means” was 8 holds ago
Well, if they call the holds the game isn’t as close and the league likes the drama.
One of us
Who wants to be the NFL fines MLF for “Criticizing the Officials” over this?
And you know what? He’d absolutely have the fans backing. It wasn’t just Micah that was getting held. I saw it happen over and over again, and there was a really blatant one where Evan Williams was coming on a Safety Blitz and Swift just grabbed his arm to let C. Williams Escape.
NFL won’t like it, and they’ll fine them. But teams need to start calling out officiating without sugar coating it. This shit is starting to feel a bit too rigged now that gambling is legal
The play where even williams was grabbed from behind by swift as he was chasing Caleb was especially egregious to me. There wad no way that was a rip move and it was in the open field. No idea how that wasn’t called.
Sorry Hanlon, that one could not possibly be incompetence.
Just call one a game. Even when he’s close to a pressure or something. But if its on 3rd down it’s a big play. So frustrating.
Def one of those “I’m speaking up to let my players know I have their back” moments. Glad he said it.
It’s when you hold
I felt the same way
It’s not a major conspiracy- It’s a talent disparity.
Parsons and Garrett are so much better than every offensive lineman that if you called every hold against them, there’d be 50 holding penalties a game.
Holding penalties are BAD- like, BAD-BAD for television ratings. They kill drives, they frustrate fans, and they slow the pace of the game down to a crashing halt.
The league doesn’t want any of that to happen, so they intentionally let clear and obvious holding calls against star defensive ends go unnoticed. I’ve noticed they’re MUCH harsher against interior linemen than tackles.
Hopefully this changes for the playoffs
Just after the Parsons trade, Dallas fans said to expect him to be held repeatedly while never getting the call.
It happens a lot to good defensive players like Parsons for a while now they just refuse to call those holds
It’s a big issue and I wish they took it more seriously because it leads to some sloppy games and even sloppier officiating
Sports betting has ruined professional sports. The refs were doing everything in their power to help the Bears. The NFL needs to investigate this officiating team if they have any interest in maintaining the integrity of the sport.
Not saying Parsons is always using the rip move but I’ve been a football fan since I was 6 and just recently learned this. Thought it might help explain some but not all no-calls
