Favorable power rankings, therefore I accept this data as accurate.
I don’t think we are that high but glad we get some respect on our name. Still to inconsistent in games we should win. We overperform against good teams and underperform against bad teams.
I mean, I get it here. Currently they are 8th in the league, 13th by points percentage (once games at hand they are ahead catch up we’ll see the fuller picture).
And that’s with a slower start.
October was – 5-5-1
November was – 7-5-2
December is – 3-1-0 so far.
Added to the fact that, for the most part, they are mostly playing well against good teams even when they lose to them this is a solid power rankings reality for this team. They are simply playing solid hockey.
Offense is fast and while still struggling to finish in many games is definitely better.
Neutral zone is being well handled.
Defense is a big struggle but the White Whale is back to saving things he shouldn’t.
PK is back (6th), PP is shit (29th), biggest thing they gotta fix, but at least the PK is keeping this neutral for now.
Better than the Athletic Power Rankings. Though the Isles were 11 last week, jumping quite a bit. When they play as they did against the top competition they can be a top 10 team.
