4. I imagine these guys trade places on the same spot in the org depth chart. It sounds like before Carlile and Santini got sent back, Syracuse was dealing with some depth issues at the position and it sounds like Schmidt wasn’t doing a whole lot in Syracuse beyond fighting so they probably just needed another guy down there who could play competent hockey.

5. But Scmidt is an absolute behemoth. He does have penalty issues. But he could skate. Very big, physical and can fight. I really liked him in preseason.
