NHL Highlights | Sabres vs. Flames – December 8, 2025
It’ll be the fourth lines that start for each team as we get to the starting line. It’s brought to you by bet99.nets. It is Peter Cy works to the line. Gnett’s up shot. Tipped. Sharon Gome got a piece. Set that one over top of the net. Wingers blast. Tipped in front. Sharon go scores. Another opening goal from Jagar Sherinkovich. Calgary leads it one- nothing side on the blocker side. And here is the goal. The puck’s going to come back to McKenzie Waguer. Cadri gets it there and he just lofts it towards the net. Now Lindy Ruff was pointing and I’m not sure if it hits the glove of Sharon Govich and goes in. Here’s a good look at it. John, can you tell was that the club was at the elbow? Perhaps it definitely hits the body. At first, I thought it was the stick, but it’s so unclear. Yeah, this might be our best look at it. Oh, it’s the arm. Okay, that should be a good goal. Steps up, swings to Hubo to Anderson. Cadry one-time. That shot blocked. Timmons got in the way. Anderson on a five on three to Coronado. Back to Anderson. Lets it go. Tipped in. They score. Miss Anderson on the power play. Two nothing Flames. [Music] This is a broken stick. This shot too. Watch Rasmus Anderson. The stick is going to break when he takes the shot. It’s not even that hard. No, it’s not even hard. Crosses right in front. So is Timonss. And you can see Lucinan. Oh, that’s I hate to say it, but that’s not just that’s not a great effort to try and find that puck. It goes off Timonss as well. Defending Sabres trying to set something up. Coming back to the play was Cadry and he’ll race away. Now some of Cadry sending one to Farabby alone. What a stop by Lucan who sprawls out to Rob and I can’t even make an excuse for that. I have no idea what he was thinking on that play. That leads to this great opportunity. Cad with a nice lead pass to Farby. That’s best save of the game by Lucinan. That’s a important timely save by the Sabres goalender. into Zucker. Swept it through the goal crease. No one home on the far side corner. Thompson sees it for Buffalo. Zucker up the boards. Norris again. Zucker cross ice. Thompson shoots. Scores. Power play goal for Thompson. Breaks out of a sixgame goalless streak. And Buffalo on the board. Goal for the Sabres. They didn’t have much going in the first period. Another finally attacking a little bit more. Take this nice little feed there. And there is an amazing release by Thompson. That’s his 13th on the season. That’s almost unstoppable when he’s in that close. What a beautiful pass by Zucker. And Thompson head up all the way. We notice that. Second five on three the Flames have had tonight. They scored on the one prior. Anderson makes the shot on the Cry. Not much time on the five on three. Frost setting it up for scores. [Music] Uber on the power play. 3-1 Flames. [Music] Get it back to the point. Then Matt Coronado gets a return pass from Frost and Jonathan Hubedo does what he’s supposed to do. just go back door, tip that in behind the goalender. That’s his six of the season for Jonathan Hubedo. That was a beautiful power play goal. No question about it. This is game three of a six game 14-day road trip for the Buffalo Sabers. Longest of the season. Then sharp angle shot scores. [Applause] Not one you normally see sneak in, but okay, this might help us a little bit more. Oh, I think he’s offside. Just by about an inch or so if you look at the puck at the very top of the screen and Greenway just leaning in. Was a quick decision. And it appears after coaches challenge video reviews determined that at 12:15 the play was offside. No goal. Wow. That’s a big break for the Flames. Can Calgary survive this here? They’re just not taking pucks to the net though. They’re all on the perimeter. Attack. You’ve got an exhaustive defensive team. You’ve got to attack. Trying to here. Pulling up power. shot scores off of Weaguer and in I believe and the Sabres do take advantage of a tired Flames group. Well, they finally put the puck towards the net. All right, let’s take a look how long they’re going to hang on to the puck and not attack right now. The Flames are completely exhausted and they’ve got to I just didn’t understand why they weren’t taking pucks. Finally, they get a good break. goes off McKenzie Weaguer, I believe, his leg. And they get a break, the Sabers. So, they’re right back in it. 3-2. This is This is how this game feels. Calgary’s been the better team for a large part of this one. It is a little disjointed game, but they’re looking to go back on the attack. Sharon go out in front. Cry scores. What a setup from Carrie and the Flames answer right back. Puck over and it’s back in their net just seconds after they made it 3-2. There’s the turnover. Great passing play here though. Wonderful play by Sharon Govich down to Farby and he lost a beautiful pass to Cavry for his Sixth goal of the season. Incredible finish. If Cadrick could get going, but can’t get it past the last man in Dalene. Dolene jumping in as Norris puts it over now. Dene Sandor scores. Rasmus Dolli breaks out of a lengthy slump. First and 15 and brings the Sabres to within one again. Sabres. This is what Ryan Huska talked to me about this morning about. You have to be careful cuz the Sabres love to get their D involved in the rush. There’s Don with a perfectly placed pass right to Dalene back door. And as you mentioned, John, Sabres just want to hang around and keep it close. Now what they have to do, he’s powered through a lot up ice. Coleman some room in tight. Stop looking. Rebound scores [Applause] [Music] finishes it off. And just look at the effort by Coleman. Now he’s going to strip the puck from Dalene. And that’s what Lindy Ruff is upset. Houston third drop back pass Dene to Thompson. Thompson coming up ice her fourth short-handed goal of the season. Coleman has a pair. Dene shot tipped in. They score. Alex Tuck in front and he’ll bring the Sabres to within one right in front. So it’s a double deflection from Dustin Wolf. makes it more difficult. And that is a beautiful There goes Lay. Look at that. Right in the breakout. Hey, if you have possession, it’s a smart play. Lame steel back with empty cage to Salt away. Scores. [Applause] [Music] Goal. Then they implode and just puck management was terrible. Turn the puck over and it’s an easy empty net goal for Michael B. 25 seconds left. Steel. Zucker shoots. Point blank. Stopped by Wol. Wouldn’t that have been right? I just had a feeling there was going to be more scoring opportunities. Zucker had a great chance. Empty net scores. Shergo has started it and he’ll finish it for Calgary. I think that’s good enough now. John Sharon Govich with 178 ft shot buries it 74 six of the season second of the game Sharon go and the third game of a four game home stand belongs to the Flames again as they continue their streak in the saddle. [Music]
Yegor Sharangovich scored twice and Nazem Kadri matched his three-point night as the Calgary Flames handled the Buffalo Sabres 7-4.

Sabres still on course for the sweep of this 6 game road trip! Oilers must be quaking in their boots!
Mission Mckenna is on hold
9:13 dude lol
I have never seen a team beat the ever living crap out of themselves more than the sabres in a hockey game. Leafs fans really think THEY have it worse.
Right on track to co time with mediocre teams getting mediocre results. Can’t even fricking lose properly
Huberdeau and Farabee had a good game tonight.. lol.. ugly game tho
Наконец-то Шаранговича прорвало!!! Надеюсь, это не одноразовая акция)))
POOR POOR Sabres. I like the Sabres but they just never get better. It's always RUFF in Buffalo. Perhaps it's time to change that.
You gotta feel bad for the Buffalo Sabre fans, their team has been awful for years and they’re not getting any better no matter how many top ten picks they get.
How come Sabres take so many stupid penalties ? Are they stupid or what ?
The coach should be fired , because he is not up to the job. Latest after they have lost their chance to playoffs.
Buffalo really is their own worst enemy
I'm not even a sabres fan, but man is this tough to watch
