Raheem Morris Just Gave The Middle Finger To Falcons Fans…

[Music] You know, I told you guys I wasn’t going to get that upset about Raheem Morris’s actions and the state of the Atlanta Falcons now that they are officially eliminated from playoff contention. And uh I find myself breaking that rule today because Raheem Morris not only gave me the finger, he gave you guys the finger as well. Welcome in Falcons fans to Falcons Today by Chad Sports. My name is Moose. Let’s start with the less aggravating news. The Atlanta Falcons have released safety Jordan Fuller. Now, this is not shocking whatsoever. If you’re a Falcons fan, do you remember when we signed him earlier on this free agency period? I didn’t think after the Falcons drafted Xavier Watts that Fuller was going to be much of a threat to take that starting job. I thought Xavier would win that pretty handedly considering how good he was at Notre Dame and kind of how I viewed him as kind of like a first round talent. So this is not crazy news to me. He also got injured really early this uh earlier this season. Fuller that is not uh Watts and then came back and rarely played. So again, injury plus very little time spent on the field equals no longer having a roster spot. But that is not the main goal of this episode because we also signed Malik Heath, uh a player that has six receptions for 80 yards this year. Do me a favor, smash the thumbs up icon if you want my message that I’m going to display to you later on in this episode sent to Terry Fontnau. Is he going to see this? Probably not. But in the event that we get enough thumbs up on today’s video, there’s a slight chance that he comes across this video. And if so, I want him to see it. Let’s continue on a little bit. Like I told you, this is not crazy news, right? Fuller was just not one of those players that was ever going to really make an impact considering you’ve got probably two of the best starting safeties in the National Football League. Easily top five in Jesse Bates and Xavier watch. And I still believe that DeMarco Helms can make an impact when he gets healthy. He’s a player with a lot more talent than Fuller has. I just don’t think he’s ever found the field yet because of all of his injuries. But with that being said, you can clearly see the impact of the two starters in Watson Bates and how good both of them are. I mean, these are almost identical numbers. They’re both excellent. And Bates is widely considered to be a top three safety in the league. You could make the argument that he’s one or two or three, but either way, you would have him as a top safety in the league. And Xavier Watts is putting up numbers that quite frankly actually a little bit better. He’s actually playing a little bit better than Jesse Bates as the only area that Bates beats him is in tackles. I digress though because again, this is not necessarily about the roster moves that have been made by the Atlanta Falcons. This is more of an indictment on Raheem Morris and his decision to make these small potato moves. Jordan Fuller, um, six games played, one game started, two tackles, PFF grade 57.9. He did accumulate about 16 snaps on special teams, but uh if you’ve seen any Falcons Today episode recently, you would know that being on special teams on the Falcons is not an achievement whatsoever. It’s the worst special teams unit I think I may have ever seen. It really is that bad. So, Jordan Fuller is gone. Malik Keith has been signed now to the practice squad along with KJ Osborne who still hasn’t been moved up on the active roster, which again begs the question, what on earth are we doing as a coaching staff? You are going to see more moves like this more frequently by the way, more players getting released, more players getting signed on because they’re trying to at least somewhat evaluate any sort of talent that they’ve got left on the roster because now the playoffs are out of sight, out of mind, out of mind. So winning games is not the priority anymore. It’s about player development if you’re smart. But Raheem, I still think can’t do that. He’ll find ways to continue to lose football games. So if I had to ask you who gets released by the Falcons next, I’m sure you’re wondering or probably typing right now. Raheem, Raheem, Raheem, Zack, Zack, Zack, Maris, Maris, Maris. I don’t think they’re going to get released next, although they should be. Either way, you let me know down in the comments section down below. The main purpose of this video is that Raheem pissed me off for the final time. I actually got a visceral reaction, which is actually quite impressive to do considering I didn’t think I had any anger left in the tank. Raheem Morris said in his press conference today that coaching changes are irrelevant. Now, you could look at this one of two ways. You might be that fan that says, “Well, of course it’s irrelevant. The Falcons are out, so firing doesn’t do anything now because the season is over.” I think it goes deeper than that though. I think what Raheem Morris is telling you is I’m not firing anybody so stop asking me the question. That’s what I think he’s telling you. And disrespectfully, Raheem, with all due disrespect, what the [ __ ] are you smoking? Are you insane? Yeah, it might be irrelevant to you. It is not irrelevant to the players. It is not irrelevant to the fans. And if you are saying it’s irrelevant, you are shoving your middle finger in front of the fan base and in the players face and saying, “I don’t care what you think.” This is an ultimate fu to Falcons fans. It is an ultimate fu to Falcons players. Raheem is telling you to piss off in this statement. So, I decided, okay, fine. It’s irrelevant. Let’s talk about how irrelevant you are, Raheem, because you are an absolute dumb [ __ ] of a coach. You hired 26 of them on your staff when you took the job. That’s turned out really well, hasn’t it? You fired Jimmy Lake after one season. Okay, we punted on one. You fired Ike Hillier, the only coach that anybody actually liked in the building besides Jeff Albrich. You released Ray Ray Mloud and which at the time we thought was a discipline issue, but it turns out to be a lot deeper than that. It is a I can’t lead people issue. You hired Zack Robinson. That in and of itself is an absolute joke. Brutal clock management on the field. You can’t win close games. Oh, and you mismanaged the absolute hell out of the Kirk Cousins and Michael Pennix Jr. situation. You are undoubtedly one of the top 10 worst coaches I have ever seen. That’s not me being hyperbolic. You actually find yourself on that list. You, Matt Eberloose, um, coached of the Jacksonville Jaguars a couple years ago, Urban Meyer, he was also absolutely terrible. You fall on a very short list of horrendous head coaches. And I decided that I was going to be a man of my word. We got enough super chats in our last watch party for me to write an email. I I am hope and and I I take no pleasure in saying that as a Falcons fan because as a fan of the team, you always want your team to win. This is the one rare time that I’m okay when we lose because I’m done with this experiment. I’m done with this coaching staff. The moment that Raheem Morris gets fired is the moment that we do the Irish jig on this show. I I don’t know. I’ll do something. I I’ll do something. But I feel like Nick Serriani right now when he shaved his head, I’m having an emotional breakdown. I really am. This is an unbelievable and unprecedented situ situation for me as a Falcons fan. We’ve seen bad Falcons teams before, by the way. It’s never been this bad. Like point blank. This is the worst playoff drought the Falcons have been in since 1973 to 1980. It’s awful. It’s awful.
