Ketel Marte’s BEST MOMENTS and BIGGEST HITS of 2025! 🍿 (Full MLB season highlights w/the D-backs)
Marte la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la launches a rocket to right field and it’s gone. Kel Marte and there’s number one. Welcome back. It’s 5 nothing. 109 m an hour off the bat of Marte his first of the year. Thought off the bat initially it might be too low to clear the fence out there. That was a smoked line drive. Quick inside that time. Patel just admiring from home plate. Marte la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la launches one way up in the air. Hang on ball. It’s gone. Way back and we’re tied. Catel Marte is back. 427. Two games, two homers against the Dodgers. He astonishes even his own teammates. Wow, that ball was absolutely crushed. Boy, was it ever. And there it goes. Gel Marte. He’s got another one. Marte’s come alive. His third home run in this series. And that one went 443 ft. So many times that’s the way it works. A guy struggling at the plate, maybe trying to do too much, maybe trying to generate too much power, and then you hit that one line drive and it all comes back to you. This ball is toasted. Marte chops it down the line in right and that ball is gone. Patel Marte gets the Diamondbacks on the board. Well, that’s the way to bust out of a hitless series so far. His fourth of the year. It looked like the only question was fair or foul that time off the bat of Catelli was out in front of that pitch just a little bit but able to keep it fair down that right field line where it’s only 309 ft. Marte slams one deep to right center and Kel Marte has got another one. A homerred in the first, another one in the fourth. That’s his fifth of the year and the Diamondbacks have broken this thing wide open. Wow, that ball was hit really hard. His first home run was right down that right field line. More of a line drive home run. This is a towering blast to right center. Catel was looking for that first pitch fast ball. Marte blasts it deep to right field. Catel Marte sends one out of here and it’s one- nothing Diamondback. Bob Brley, you mentioned a moment ago. Roll out the barrels. He just barreled that one up. His sixth of the year. Oh, he sure did barrel that one up. Tell Marte who hit a double play in the first less off the fourth. Marte hits a highf fly ball out to right. Failed and there it goes. Catel Marte way out of here. That’s number seven and it’s one- nothing Diamond B. Catel got a hold of that sinker before it could sink that time. That ball was hit a long way right down there in his wheelhouse. He knew it right away. 108 miles an hour off the bat. 425 ft. Two two pitch. Marte right center field. That’s hit well. Scott is back at the wall. Leaps gone. Catel Marte his eighth. And the Diamondbacks have their first hit and their first run on that swing. That’s what we’re talking about with Catel Marte. He has 151 career homers now. And this ball is stepped on. That’s so unique for a manager for a team to have that kind of pop in the one two spot. So, it’s been a little erratic to this point. And Marte gets into one. And that one is going to go. Wow. Akunia does not even move. Catel Marte sends one out of here in Atlanta. And the Diamondback strike first. And in that change up, that’s a pitch he doesn’t throw very often. Hangs it after two fast balls. I’m not sure what he’s doing, but Catel, the only guy in this lineup with an extra base hit against Strider. That’s now two homers plus a triple. I mean, Akunia, I’m not sure he even blinked at that one. Yeah, he knew that was well out of here. Still holding. Marte slams another one to right field. Catella line drive and that one’s gone. He’s homerred twice in Atlanta and it’s four nothing Diamondbacks. That was an absolute missile over the head of Akunia. It’s going to say it’s only 371 ft on the TV screen, but that’s just cuz that brick wall got in the way. That ball was hit on an absolute line and that was going to keep going all the way through that chop house out there. If he had a chance, he might have broken a brick. Marte clubs this one deep to center. This has got some carry to it and Catel Marte hits it into the waterfall out there. His 11th of the year. Marte stays hot and the Diamondbacks make it 9 to4. He just finds a way to hit through the baseball so well. Even those line drives like the one he hit the first night just carry out of here so far. Gets that back spin and just drives it through the thick air here in Atlanta. Catel Marte with a fly ball out to left. This is hit well. Steer is at the wall and that ball is gone. Catel Marte drives one out and the Diamondback’s offense clicks yet again. Marte hits another homer. It is two nothing Arizona. He made the three, too. I love that. I told you that he plays with a lot of swagger. He’s not afraid here in the Bluebirds right now, but he’s very experienced, man. You cannot let him get in another uniform and caught the ball over the plate and he gets full extension and he knew that baseball was not coming back as soon as he barreled it. Sends it out to center. Alec got a little bit of a late break. Marte out there and Catel Marte with a beautiful play from second base. That was headed for no man’s land and Marte got there first. Boy, this is a fantastic play. Not only that, watch the way he catches this ball. just backhands it nice and easy like it was a routine play for Marte. Covers a lot of ground and just flips it over to Thomas. Nice play by Marte. Covered a lot of ground there. Catel Marte the DH today in the leadoff spot against the lefty. And Catel slices this one pretty deep right center. Doyle all the way to the wall and it’s high off the wall. Marte pulls into second with a leadoff double. He just missed a home run out there. But you were right. and he jumps on the first one and lines it way down the line and gone. Catel Marte, he’s aggressive after all. It’s a three-run home run and it’s six to one Diamond Bounce. Gonzo, you called that. He jumped on that split finger pitch. That’s the kick change up and he kicked it right out of here. Catel punches that high in the air. It’s carrying out to left center. Doyle on the move, but he won’t get there. Everybody had to hold up just to be sure. Vargas will score. They’re going to wave Jos Herrera as well. And he’s home. Tell Mart’s at it again. He’s got five RBI. Marte has doubled twice in homer. He’s knocked in five runs. Tell coming off backto back three hit games in the leadoff spot against the left-hander. Catel slams it to center. It backs up. Hillyard still backing up all the way to the wall and it’s high off the wall. He just missed another home run and Marte is in at second. It’s a leadoff double let off last night’s game with a double out there. He’s swinging a hot bat right now. Look at that. He’s not missing those pitches. That was dead center. 90 mph right down the heart of the plate and he stayed right up the middle with it right off the slams it way back to left center. It’s on its way and there it goes. Bouncing into the seats. Ta is home and we’re tied at two. Two at bats, two doubles for Catel. Just missed one right there. Well, he might have hit that just off the end of the bat. He sure did. He got that off the end of the bat there. That pitch was away. If he squares that up a little bit more on the barrel that’s in the seats. This one should stay playable if they can get somebody there. McMahon can’t see it. And it drops in for a base hit. Ryan McMahon never saw it. Marte is at second. Marte is at second base for the third consecutive at bat. That’s a single and an east an E7 and make it four for four. Marte shoots it between RCA and Tolia. He has doubled twice. He has singled twice and he’s on base to start the seventh. Came in with backto back three hit games. He’s four for four so far tonight. Here is Catel. And there goes a fly ball. It’s another one off the bat of Marte. Goodbye. Marte. His hot streak continues. That’s his 14th and make it 6 nothing Diamondbacks. Boy, how about this guy just jumping on the first pitch change up and watch this pitch location, too. This ball’s running away from him and he pulls it down the right field line. Well, that’s what the Rockies Carson Palmquist was saying. Marte covers the entire plate. There’s nowhere to throw it to him. Catel slams another one to right center. It’s on its way and it’s gone. Catel Marte does it again. That’s number 50. Boy, this is an unbelievable streak he’s on right now. He is just locked in. Amazing. Just amazing. Chops this one toward the left field corner. Kel Marte has found the bullpen. His first opposite field home run this year. He got it just over the bullpen fence out there. Just off the end of the bat. Just enough. It’s a fiveun fourth and they lead it six to three. Number 16 for Catel. Martine lined out to first. His first time up today. Marte launches one way back. Catel Marte. It’s gone. Number 17 for Catel who has now hit home runs in five of his last nine games. I had mentioned earlier that the Diamondbacks have not swung at a first pitch in the ball game. First time through the order. Catel Marte ambushes Quantel this time jumping on that first pitch. Here is the Allstar second baseman for the National League. Catel Marte the tying run at the plate with no outs. Marte with a drive. The Allstar has tied the ball game. Just a few hours after he was announced as the starting second baseman for the National League Allstar team, Marte comes up big time. His 18th has made it five to five. Boy, they don’t get much bigger than that. Okay, that was kind of awesome. Marte sends one down the line toward the bullpen and it’s gone. Marte has homerred now in six of his last 10 games and that one is number 19. 115 m an hour off the bat. This ball just sizzled into the bullpin down in the National League race no time. Otani can jog in and an extra base hit from Marte. Here comes Akuna. A two-run double. Two to nothing NL. And that speed on the bases is going to allow two runs to score, but just inside the line. Seeing three different ways to get hits. Little squib shot. Marte charges a scoop and Matthews with the speed is safe, says Brian Walsh. I think we’re going to challenge. Yeah, they will. Alan Campbell in the video room says out. Long stretch that time by Josh Naylor and it appears they got it. After review the call on the field, it’s overturned. The runner is out. Arizona retains it. 285 and 20 homers for Marte. There’s a drive deep to right field. It’s on his way and it’s gone. Gel Marte sends one into the bullpen and the Diamondbacks strike first in West Sacramento. Sometimes you just have to ask for things. You just have to will it, Candy. Nice job. That’s You get half an RBI for that. He didn’t come with his sinker either. This was a cutter and I think the approach for the Diamondbacks is the ball’s up in his own. They’re going to let it go. And Catel did. Marte down the line. That’s in the corner. And here we go. Lays home. Corbin flying into third. Here he comes. He is eight. Count them. Eight consecutive two out Diamondback hits. a new franchise record ripped down into that left field corner. It was fun watching Corbin Carroll right there come all the way around and score from first base. Little bit of a dangerous send that time by Shawn Larkin, but with Corbin Carroll speed, he can outrun a throw. Play at the plate and Corbin just in there ahead of the tag by Fulford. Marte hits a fly ball to left. Marte upper deck and the Diamondbacks have grabbed the lead with two outs and two strikes in the ninth inning. It’s three to two. [Applause] 112 off the bat. He hit it 445 ft and he got every seam on that baseball. Wow. That one got by Mario Marte. Smothers it. What a play by Catel Marte. A rocket off the bat of Josh Young. And somehow that’s out number two. It’s 101 miles an hour off the bat right up the middle. Marte hits it in the air. Right field. There it goes. Marte has done it again. All with two outs. And the Diamondbacks have stolen that lead at six to four. Unbelievable. That’s his 23rd. He did it in the ninth inning last night and he strikes again in the ninth inning this afternoon. His fourth inn of the game. Wow. Bigger than that. Marte smacks it down the right field line and Purdomo’s on the run. Shawn Lin will stop him at third and can tell is in at second with a double. Jerry’s coming home as the throw gets away and Marty’s into third. It’s two to one Diamondbacks. One thing about Coorsfield, when the ball gets all the way to the wall at any part of this ballpark, it’s two long throws back to the infield. The outfielder to the cut off man, then the cut off man to wherever his target is going to be. And that time they just could not handle the relay. Brings up Catel Marte. Catel’s had a tough night. 0 for four. He has struck out twice. Once with the bases full. Little bloop. It’s going to drop and we’re tied. Marte comes through. Alex Holman and it’s five to five. Boy, he earned that one. He sure did. Wow. 15 pitches. That’ll work. Keep that ball on the ground in front of TJ Fredel out there in center field and the Dbacks tie it up. Marte gets it in the air way back and there it goes. A leadoff homer for Catel off the upper deck and gone. That’s how you start a ball game right there. That’s 441 ft. It left the bat at 112 m anph. Well, it wasn’t the slider, but it was an off speed pitch. A change up that Patrick Corbin left in the middle of the strike zone. And Catel just knocked the living daylights out of that one. And there are two on with nobody out. Here comes Catel Marte. I really like this matchup for Marte. I could see why. Swung on and hammered out to left. It’s gone. A threerun T-OT for Marte. Blows it open in the seventh. And for the first time tonight, the Dex take the lead 5-2 Arizona. What a big bomb that was. But again, he took the first change up. He got that one even though it was a little bit low, but he was all over that ball and just punished it. Catel Marte. Pound it like that. And there it goes. Marte gets him started. Yeah. Well, that had to feel good for Catel who’s just been struggling to make solid contact lately. finally got a pitch he could get the barrel on and rode it out of here to right field to spot the Dbacks to an early lead. 26th of the year for Catel. Marte gets this one deep to right and this is going to go. Catel Marte gets it started in San Diego. Not wasting any time whatsoever. Ambush that was just under 107 off the bat. It went 410 ft. The 27 for Catel and the Diamondbacks strike first. Dargas tries to throw that sinker inside. It tailed right back over the inner third of the plate. Right where Catel likes it. A no doubter. Catel homered walk scored twice in the opener Friday. He was off last night. Marte hits a high fly ball to left. This one is on its way. Catel Marte starts us off with a leadoff home run. That’s his 28th. And the Diamondbacks strike first. four total first inning home runs in this series. Boy, I tell you, the guy’s coming out hacking. Although, would have been nice that ball hit the wall and stayed in play just to give Pernobo a chance to drive him in. But we’ll take the run.
Ketel Marte clubbed 28 homers in 2025 and was named an All-Star for the second straight year as a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
